55This is a great exploring spot, and the little creek crossing is fun! As indicated, it isn't fenced, but I kept my dog on a long lead. As others noted, you will likely want to wear long pants and shoes/boots. The host was very friendly and great with my girl. We will be back!Shannon K.

55Absolutely fantastic spot! The owner was very friendly and helpful and I love that he met with us when we got there to let us know about the property. Also very dog knowledgeable. My girl is very friendly but a little reserved and he was fantastic meeting with her.
The property is very large and varied which is great for letting dogs explore and get different experiences. Yuki especially loved running over the log and walking in the creek but there was also long grass and forest and it was just great.
One note to guests is to wear long pants. I should have thought about that since I'd seen pictures of the property but for some reason it slipped my mind and with tall grass and thistles and such wearing short pants was a poor choice on my part 😄.

Absolutely fantastic spot! The owner was very friendly and helpful and I love that he met with us when we got there to let us know about the property. Also very dog knowledgeable. My girl is very friendly but a little reserved and he was fantastic meeting with her.

55Lovely space for a good off-leash wander! We didn't see any wildlife this time, but did relocate a few ticks. The stream was lovely and a refreshing dip for my pooch.

There's also a nice flat grassy space near the parking area, which was perfect for Ryleigh to run and chase a frisbee.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
