Top Public and Private Dog fields in Mayfield, Ohio

We are located on a no outlet street in Munson (Chardon), Ohio. Our home has several acres; one acre is securely fenced in with a combination of decorative fencing and chain link. All of the gates have an extra "lock" in order to secure they are latched while closed. The base of the fence is routinely inspected for gaps or escape routes and every measure is taken in order to make sure all dogs remain within the fenced in area. The space has a combination of open grass, wooded areas and even trails for dogs and their owners to explore while visiting my spot. The humans may sit on the seating by the woods, the "ice cream bench" slider, the furniture on the deck or the benches around the fire pit. Bags and/or a a pooper scooper are provided for waste. We kindly ask our guests to treat our property with respect. Owners must remain on the premises with their dog(s) at all times. Fresh Water is provided for each visit; the bowl is cleaned and sanitized before each visit. Please adhere to your reserved time, as sometimes I have back-to-back bookings and have my own dogs I schedule accordingly. Thank you for visiting my private park!

If you are a returning client with a discount code, please message me and we can work something out! *** Welcome to Tell Tail Farm! A private 2 acre-fully fenced yard with horses and chickens coming home in fall of 2025. We get plenty of wild animals in our yard and have dogs of our own so there are PLENTY! Of smells for your pets to enjoy. All humans and pets will stay inside for your visit unless requested otherwise. Please note* this is our personal yard/home and active farm that we’re constantly working on as the property was built in 1801. I am not a professional/commercial dog park and do it for the joy that I can share with other pets/owners and the extra income since managing a property this large is expensive. Please have patience, respect and kindness for me as I will for you too :) I have a water bowl, toys, poop bags, chairs for humans, a nice patio to sit on, picnic table, and a fire pit patio with string lights all available for use! Hand sanitizer is also available and if it rains, we will open up the garage for a rain shelter with chairs! We do not use any pesticides or fertilizer on our property but will spray for ticks in the spring and summer. We cut the grass 1-2x per week but even more in the spring to keep the grass super short and our house sits on top of a hill for added exercise. When we get a lot of rain, a small pond forms in the back of the yard (pictured) but it’s not there in the extreme summer heat. Since we’re adding a fenced area for chickens, it does NOT impact the integrity of the existing fence. Construction material may be on the property but nothing dangerous to dogs since this is my own dogs personal yard. Any construction will be covered/secured to the best of our ability for the time being.

Our property sits 1200+ feet off of the main road and is a total of 28 acres. There are neighboring properties that are 50 acres and 80 acres so no close homes in most directions. We are located approximately 1 mile from West Branch State Park. The property has a clean swimming pond, a walkable forest area with some established trails that are currently covered with leaves. We are a working farm with about 8 acres of crops. There is a large 3 acre wheat field in the front great for ball throwing. The remaining non crop acres are walking paths with some cut grass and yard. We do not have any livestock but our neighbors have cows. There is a secure fence on one side of our property that keeps the cows in their pasture. They’ve never visited us! Neighboring properties are also farms with over 100 acres of open land, woods and crops surrounding our property with no main or visible roads. You can see houses on one side of the property and that’s where the cows live! They have dogs but they’ve never visited us. We do have 2 well behaved German Shorthaired Pointers named River and Remmy who run freely on the property. However we will keep them inside when guests use the property. We have a bench to sit on in a shaded area around the pond for relaxing. The woods are beautiful to walk about as well. There is a large rock in the woods to take a rest on with an amazing ravine creek view. Our property is large and not fenced so dogs with impeccable recall should enjoy the freedom to play, run, swim, sniff and explore. Leashed walks are also welcome. Long leads can also be used. Because we are so far off of any main roads you will feel comfortable here! Your pups are welcome to swim in the pond during your visit. During recent rains our property stays mainly dry and the woods are relatively dry as well as there are many leaves covering the ground. In the winter when the ground is frozen it’s a beautiful walk.

We have a fully fenced front & back yard with gates to separate both! 🐾 The view is beautiful & backs up to acres of scenic land. 🌳🏡 The sunsets 🌅 from our back yard are second to none!! 🫶We have tennis balls, frisbees, throwers, 💩 bags, Pet First Aid Kit, Bug Spray, Sunscreen, hose & water bowl for your use :)🐶🎾🏡❤️☀️ If your Pup likes to swim - be sure to add on our in ground pool! 💦 (open for the Season May 16th). 💦

Fluffy Ridge Trails is located amongst some of the most scenic covered bridges in the country, close to the shores of Lake Erie, a short drive to exceptional dining and shopping in historic Ashtabula Harbor and in the middle of Northeast Ohio’s wine country! This private dog park boasts 2 miles of well-maintained trails, apple trees, and blackberry bushes are abundant. You and your best friend can walk the trails, and then relax under the shade of a timber-style gazebo, which includes a swing, music, electrical outlets, concrete pad and fire pit (wood included) for your enjoyment. Inside our Sniff Spot Lounge we provide complimentary drinks, snacks, bug spray, sunscreen and of course dog treats! Fluffy Ridge Trails is one-of-kind!!!

Great area to take your pups ! There is no fence but as long as the listen decent they have all the room in the world to run . Because of its size I will try to host more than one dog at a time . There is a lake to swim and almost fully wooded. Thanks again for taking the time .

Our backyard is your backyard! Let your dog(s) run and play in our fully fenced backyard. You can relax while they play - it’s very peaceful. We do have neighbor dogs on one side but they are seldom outside. Spring to Fall there’s a comfy seating area. Our gardens (fenced off from dogs) are yours to enjoy. Come, sit, stay a while as your dogs release that pent up energy. It’s fun in the snow! Our yard can be muddy in wet seasons, bring towels for dog wipe down during those times please.l

The reason our fee is set higher then the average sniff spot is because we have a service pony and dog friendly goats on site, we also have professional trainers available for any questions if needed. Or if you need someone to confidently introduce your dogs to livestock, we can help. This sniff spot is not your average play in grass. We recommend coming here only if you need help or to level up your dogs. 🐕

Come bring your Fur Babies out to the country and let them romp and play in the snow. We have 2 acres for your dog(s) and you to enjoy away from the city. It is a place for them to run, romp, sniff, play, fetch and make memories. You'll enjoy the freedom and beauty of the outdoors. It's a spot to get away from it all with your dog and have fun! Come visit us on our private 90-acre farm offering the best natural space for your furry friends! Let your dog explore scenic trails and wooded areas. Open fields for fetch and play. A swimming lake for a refreshing splash on hot days. Perfect for off-leash adventures in a private setting.

My personal house with a good size yard for playing. Fire pit and swing to sit and relax on. Small lakes all around and good for hiking or going for community walks.

Once you turn in the property private drive, you will see the side yard to the left, a big evergreen tree at the end of the driveway. This is where I would like visitors to park on the driveway next to this tree. The property line is defined by neighbors barns, fences & tree lines that surround the property. The property doesn't include the field to the right past the property tree lines. Do not use it. The tree line literally outlines a big rectangle kinda shape of the property. There is a small creek on the other side of the trees but it is not a part of the property. Cannot use it. There is also in ground pool that is gated off by a fence. The valley connects with side yards, back yard, & the hill yard to the right of the backyard. I do not mind if dogs run freely as long as they stay on the property. The valley is half mowed due to fallen trees. Don't go past the fallen trees, the grass is high there. Neighbors do have dogs but never unattended nor do they use the property. In spring, I plan to fence in a part of the yard with things for dogs. The property does have water fun once the weather breaks. I do have a towel, plastic bags you can use for droppings that I will place out on the front porch by the trash cans. Please use the blue trash can to dispose of your pets poop after sealing it securely. I will update when seasons change of what will be accessible to you & your fur babies!🫶 Did I mention it is a very peaceful, natural environment. Dogs love to run around the property with supervision.

This beautiful 10 acres has trails that are well groomed and Paint marked making it very east to navigate through the property. There are plenty of trees and smells for you and your dog to escape to. You will be able to be one in nature with the property be completely remote from the hustle and bustle of the city. This is in a nice rural community of Kinsman Ohio, small town USA roughly an hour from Cleveland and hour and half from Pittsburgh. There is a gravel parking pad just inside the red gate.
