*** Happy 2025!! *** This year marks the 3rd year I have been open, and it has been such an amazing experience. I have loved seeing every one of the dogs and meeting all of you owners! I was able to add a few improvements this year which I hoped helped in the areas it was needed. I still have a long list to fulfill and as always, I am open to suggestions, what is needed, what is not needed! Again, I am always open to and appreciate feedback. Thank you ALL for making such a great thing even better by your participation and enjoying the space that we feel blessed to be able to offer. * Just a reminder that it is always flea and tick season. We do not treat the pastures with any spray so be mindful about using whatever treatment your vet recommends. *I am repairing part of the pasture that is on my side of the property, this is going to cause me to need the far far back pasture for the use of my horses more often. If you see them in the far back field, just consider that area closed. I do try and move them over off of it for most of the week. 11/1/2025 Updates. Hot/Cold wash on hold. We are going into the WET season, I will try and have towels out but always suggest bringing some. Consider weather appropriate attire. The barn offers coverage, but it can still be windy and cold in there as well. We added more granite to safely pull all the way in and park. ** PLEASE DO NOT TURN AROUND IN THE YARD OR THE PASTURE ** it will start to get too wet to pull all the way in off the granite areas and vehicles will get stuck. And this tears up the pasture, yard area. I am trying to come up with shaded areas in the far far back pasture. That may take more planning and time. But it is on the list. We also dug the small pond a little deeper and boy howdy is the water flowing right now!

55The grass has been cut and it’s ready for fun! We went two days in a row! We’ll likely be back tomorrow too. It’s a great way to safely wear out my guy in the morning, so holiday weekend evenings of fireworks go by easily because he’s still crashed out from running hard at Bellinger Hill. Can’t say enough good things. Don’t think I mentioned this in last review but the other great thing is the parking situation. It’s a good ways off of the road. It gives a good amount of space if you want to dust off the dog after play, give water, etc. It works quite well as a pause point before and after.

55Annie & Cisco had another fun afternoon at Bellinger Hill. The tall grasses—some flattened from deer that had likely spent the night—were full of the scents and smells dogs love. We walked the interior pasture two times ; A&C played on leash, but spent most of the time with their noses down, exploring. The only drawback is the fencing; it’s not secure enough for the dogs to be off leash & the pasture is next to a busy road. Perfect, otherwise.

The only drawback is the fencing; it’s not secure enough for the dogs to be off leash & the pasture is next to a busy road. Perfect, otherwise.

55Our dog had a lot of fun here! He really enjoyed running through the grass playing ball. The fence is easy to slip through so we kept a 20ft leash on but he still had a great time. Host was friendly and we’ll definitely come again!

55A friend and I love to use the lower pasture as a spot for our dogs to play for a couple hours every few weeks. The parking is super easy for our 2 cars, and we haven’t had any issues with other people or animals being around. Once there were some horses out, but they were in another field and our dogs were able to ignore it. Occasionally the neighbor across the street has their dog out, but it’s also far enough away for our dogs to not notice it. The lower pasture is not level ground and has a few large holes in it, so we do our best to throw the ball in a direction the dogs won’t hurt themselves. But this is not a reason for us to stop going, and we plan to keep coming back. I love this spot and it’s such a quick drive from west Medford.

It’s nice to know we can work on training in a peaceful space without a lot of extra distractions. The grass is very long so I recommend hiking boots or rain boots to keep your feet dry

55We had a blast! We only used the front right arena, but it was huge! My Ridgeback ran for 30 minutes just going side to side. Fair warning, a little horse poop, so heads up, but it’s a horse arena, so that’s expected. If you use the map app on iPhones, it will take you to the edge of the property, I had to turn around but not by much. My dog is now passed out cold, we will definitely go back!!

55So happy to see a sniff spot in Medford! I’ve been looking for some nice quiet places to take my timid and dog reactive pup since we moved here a couple months ago. The fence is not super secure so I’d recommend keeping your dog on a long line if they don’t have excellent recall and wear some good waterproof shoes as it’s pretty muddy and wet this time of year. My dog got a little overwhelmed with how much space there was and was too nervous to run around so we used it as a good low distraction place to work on some training :)

55This is a WONDERFUL Sniffspot!!! We have three very active dogs and the lower pasture was a perfect place for them to run and play. They spent 1 1/2 hours just running in the field. Lots to sniff. Very clean. The pasture is huge. Lori invited us to explore the treed area and the sandy horse arena as well, but our dogs had such a great time running in the pasture they didn’t need any further play. I would highly highly recommend this Sniffspot. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area. Lori was extremely communicative and very friendly!

55The pasture was great for our girls to run and play. Next time we will come a little more prepared with balls or frisbees, but this was an impromptu visit. It is a horse pasture with a canal (lined with BlackBerry bushes) along one side, with fencing around the rest of the pasture. The pasture is big and is plenty of space for multiple dogs to run, play, and sniff. With it being so close to Central Point, I could see us coming here often.

It is a horse pasture with a canal (lined with BlackBerry bushes) along one side, with fencing around the rest of the pasture. The pasture is big and is plenty of space for multiple dogs to run, play, and sniff. With it being so close to Central Point, I could see us coming here often.

Frequently asked questions about Medford dog parks

What types of dog parks are available in Medford?

Medford offers 68 diverse Sniffspot options including small dog parks, fully fenced dog parks, and dog fields. Whether you need a fully-fenced yard for a dog with poor recall, a climate-controlled indoor space, a swimming pool for hot days, or an expansive field for running, you'll find it in Medford. Filter by fencing, size, amenities, and "fewer dogs seen/heard" to find your ideal match.

Are Medford dog parks safe for all dog types?

Yes! Medford Sniffspot locations are designed to accommodate every dog: energetic puppies, cautious seniors, tiny toy breeds, giant breeds, social dogs, and yes—reactive or selective dogs too. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets the exact environment they need. Whether your dog thrives with stimulation or needs calm and quiet, Medford has 68 options to match their personality and needs.

How do I book a dog park in Medford?

Browse 68 available Medford dog parks, select your preferred date and time, and reserve instantly through the Sniffspot platform. Most Medford locations offer instant booking, while some hosts prefer to approve requests. You'll receive confirmation, exact address details, and check-in instructions after booking.

When can I visit Medford dog parks?

Sniffspot's private booking system lets you reserve Medford dog parks based on host availability, and many operate dawn to dusk or even 24/7. Unlike public dog parks with rigid hours, you choose the exact time that works for your schedule. Check individual Medford listings for specific availability and any seasonal considerations.

Do I need a membership for Medford dog parks?

Sniffspot operates on a membership model with monthly or annual plans that include credits for bookings. Members get discounts at participating spots. New users can start with a 7-day free trial. Don't worry, there are no additional booking fees! Your credits cover everything.

What's the most popular dog park in Medford?

Orange Dog Acres is highly rated in Medford, known for excellent amenities and consistently positive reviews. However, the "best" park depends on your dog's needs. A reactive dog might prioritize privacy and secure fencing, while an active dog might prefer acres of running space. Browse Medford listings to find your perfect fit.

Can I use Medford dog parks for training?

Absolutely! Medford dog parks are excellent for training because they're private and distraction-free. Work on recall, practice agility, socialize puppies, or help reactive dogs build confidence, all without the unpredictability of public dog parks. Many Medford professional trainers use Sniffspot for client sessions.

Are Medford dog parks fenced?

Many Medford Sniffspots are fully fenced, but not all. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures if your dog doesn't have reliable recall. Listings show fencing details including height, gaps, and type so you can confirm it'll contain your escape artist. For reactive dogs who need visual barriers, look for solid fencing options.
