Our yard is mostly grass with some trees for shade, chairs and a hammock for humans, and plenty of privacy for all. Fences are solid wood, 6 feet tall all around. Our pup, Major, will be indoors (unless you request a play with him - he's a friendly golden retriever). We'll keep the curtains closed for your privacy, but he may sneak a peak to say hi through the window. If you have a reactive dog and would like our dog completely out of sight, message me and I can accommodate that with prior notice. There are neighbors on the side with dogs that your pup may see arriving to the spot. Plenty of parking in front of the house. Private side yard entrance to the right of the house by the garage. Please use what you see available - pooper scooper and dog bags on the patio, toys throughout the yard, towels, hose and water station for pups, garbage bin on your way out at the side of the house.

XL backyard with lots of room to romp and some things to climb on (logs, stumps). Yard is entirely fenced, but access gate is hog fence and may allow for very small dogs to slip through. Also some stacked firewood along a 4.5ft fence means some dogs could climb the firewood and jump out. Yard backs to an elementary school and park, so at times there is recess near the back fence (busy), or just generally people at the park. Please do not use the dog kennel/enclosure area.

Please feel free to pull through driveway to use opposite gate you entered to exit the property driveway safely! It’s a busy road! Just close gates behind you. The gates are wonky- if a wheel falls off, or you’re worried you broke it, you didn’t. We will be upgrading gates soon, please message for any help needed. Please read ALL descriptions (including photos) before entering property. Failure to do so will result in being blocked, as this is to keep you, your dogs, and my dogs and babies safe :)! Return the toys and balls to where you found them, to the best of your ability. 5 acres is a lot of ground to cover. Pick up your dog poop. Please leave the place as you found it. Don’t knock on my doors, and do not ask me for my phone number, unless it is an emergency! If there is an emergency I will assist to the best of my ability, and I do offer a pet first aid kit (bleed stop, staple gun, antimicrobrial wound spray, etc) with phone numbers on hand of local emergency vets (you won’t need these, but I have them just incase!) We have 3 separate fields. Black berry bushes are very present in all fields. FIELD 1: Closest to busy road, least suitable for free-roam incase of delivery or neighbor utilizing third gate on easement. I consider this field “the buffer zone”. Best suited for dogs with proper recall skills, or for those who want to hide biodegradable items in the rock piles or newly cut tree pile to be found. Orange flags indicate boundaries as a buffer to prevent trespassing onto neighboring property back into the woods. There are times when I have to leave or enter the property, which I will notify you if this is to happen during your visit. Water access is in field 1 by the house, and please turn off water when finished refreshing for yourself. Our dogs will be heard from this field (from inside of the house). You will find the 2nd gate entrance here, into field 2. Look for the black garbage can, as well as blue kiddy pool to navigate to field 2. FIELD 2: the best field! Our backyard. It is completely fenced in, private, and safe for dogs 15lbs and up- smaller dogs such as our 9lb dog need to wear a device (to recall) or a large harness of sorts because fencing is large enough for them to escape through. The fencing is approximately 3’ high, 3”x4” holes, typical cattle fencing. Horses can be seen from this field on neighbor’s property, along with their dog, Cooper. It is sloped, which is excellent for exercise! There are trees blocking our house and windows for privacy (great because of our noisy dogs) and has easy gate access, as well as accessible water. There is a nice view of Mt. Hood on the log benches, and a couple of log benches scattered around, a few in the lower portion of the field under the trees. I try my best to maintain and refresh a kiddy pool and the water bowl, but please help yourself. Field 3: I strongly recommend against use of field 3 during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off in field 3, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance (on foggy days). Field 3 continued: This is an excellent field for dogs with recall skills. Through the first two fields, is field 3, a property long and flat, one which openly borders our neighbor’s property. You must go through the gate at the bottom of field 2 to enter this field. While this field is technically entirely fenced, the entire property is not all ours, so we have marked boundaries using orange flags. Please reference photos for what these orange boundary flags look like. The orange flags indicate hazards along fence line, entrance to bee hives (marked by “Do Not Enter” signs, and boundaries between properties. Close each gate behind you. Cautions: Coyotes frequent this lower field (field 3) on a semi-regular basis, so large dogs with proper recall training are advised only. I strongly recommend against use of this field during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance. Also, coyotes tend to be more active during these foggy periods. This field (field 3) is a split property (2 parcels), half ours, half theirs. The neighboring owners have bee hives! Please be mindful of bees, and maintaining general boundaries (see photos of orange flags designating boundary lines). It’s quite rugged, so be mindful of wild animal scat, mole holes, and uneven grass. There is a digging area here too. DO NOT allow your dogs to dig in the mini gardens please! I have seen coyotes, skunks, deer, owls, a feral cat, and bunnies in this field. Horses and neighbor dog cooper are sometimes visible. Don’t be intimidated, unless your dog has poor recall skills. Season alert: dandelions are blooming which means bees. This is some of the first food for spring bees, so we often leave them. There will likely be a bee visiting the flowers around the yard from spring through summer. Gate to enter on Bull Mountain Rd, on the northwest side of the property. We have a fun cattle gate that slides open. Duck your head and walk on up a wooden boardwalk to the backside of our yard. The fenced in area includes all of the backyard up to the landscaped area next to the house. Feel free to roam and run across the back section. This is stick-topia. A stick for every pup that wants one. Feel free to take one home with you We will compost the dog waste, please just scoop up the poo with the provided shovel and add to the bucket. Lowkey, small yard in Arbor Lodge. For anybody looking to clown around with some agility equipment, play with high-quality dog toys, and watch their kiddo get the zoomies, book with us! We have reinforced wooden fencing with chicken wire. Neighbours to left (facing house) have no dog, neighbours to right have a medium sized dog who can be vocal but is rarely outside. We have set up a double barrier so fence fighting can be avoided - we have never had this happen but like to be cautious anyway, and give guests peace of mind. This is in a residential neighbourhood so keep that in mind. A-frame, weave poles, and many agility jumps to create your own agility course map. Also, by the stump and along the fence line with ivy your dogs are welcome to dig in the dirt. Just please do not let pups tear up my grass. Thank you!

PLEASE keep an eye on your dog(s), not your phone... Unfortunately we have found missed messes, so please monitor your doggos. if you forget poop bags, we have extra in the old milk box next to the porch steps -feel free to use any toys you find in the SS! Absolutely no digging is allowed. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes. Private areas: the house including the porch, and wrap around garden. Water is provided* 1- the hose/hydrant near the gate. (Located to the left of the gate as you enter!) 2- green bowl at top of driveway *unless freezing weather Please the area east of the driveway and behind the house and have a good time exploring and playing! There are bunnies, cats and squirrels on the property so we ask that you please restrain your dog for the first 30 seconds or so when entering the property to give those animals a chance to react to the presence of a new animal. Allowing your dog to chase cats or wander up onto the house's porch are not allowed. We appreciate your business and love your dogs, just encourage them to avoid the porch and gardens please. Leave any hose running if found that way (summer). Residents of the home may come and go during your reservation. We are mindful of your space, and we are careful to ensure the gate is kept closed. Private Dog Park on 1+ Acres near Mt. Scott Creek: Just 5 minutes from Clackamas Town Center, our one-acre enclosed field offers open space, rolling hills, and the serene Mt. Scott Creek, which meanders through the property. The creek flows year-round—its levels dip in summer—and there are several spots where pups can wade and cool off on warm days. Please note: the creek is not fenced at both ends. Our field is pesticide-free and treated with all-natural diatomaceous earth in early spring and fall. While the creekside can get a bit muddy during winter, most of the property—especially the upper fields—remains dry year-round. Welcome to NE Portland Dog Getaway! We provide a luxurious .25 acre backyard. The yard is fully fenced in, and most of the gate is at a height of 6 feet and 3 inches. The entrance gate is 5 feet 1 inch. There is a section in the corner, where the ground goes higher, and the fence sits at 3 feet 6 inches. The other side gate is at 5 feet 10 inches. Additionally, two of the 3 neighbors do have dogs, but only let them out occasionally. If they hear another dog, they usually take them inside.

We are a family of 3 with two pups, three cats and two goats! Goats cannot be let out or fed from their fenced in pen, but can be played with by humans on the other side of the fence. They will love that! Our 3 acre property is fully fenced in and boasts open running space, areas to play fetch, a circular tree swing, a hammock, a bamboo “forest,” a basketball hoop (bring your basketball!), a picnic table and chairs under a patio overhang (bring a picnic!) and a little pond. And please close the gate BEFORE letting pups off leash as there is a busy road where cars tend to drive quickly and we just want the pups to be safe.
