Come get away from the city and visit us at Sweet Paws Retreat for our private, three acre dog park. We have a large, secluded area right next to the Richard Young Forest Preserve!

Enjoy our little piece of the country with nearly 1 acre of fully fenced in fun for your dog! This private setting offers peaceful playtime and beautiful country views. ***Update: the gates now have taller wire mesh for the Houdini pups! ***

Park hours: Open Daily 8am-Sunset

Bring your best friend to enjoy our private sandy beach, fully fenced sports court, and partially fenced 3 acre lot. The fully stocked pond is ready for catch and release fishing, no license needed. Bring your own ball to the private basketball court. There is plush seating on the patio along with a fire pit available for use. We provide garbage receptacles throughout the property. Deck access is not allowed.

12.5 acres. No fence. Good for dog swimming or running free if they are off leash trained! There is a wide open space up front or if you choose to go around the back of the house there is a sand beach shallow at the beach area. And more open spots to run on this 12 acres . Ask all guests to come and leave during your time slot. I have a dog that is not friendly with others. So it’s important for the safety of everyone to come during your slot. The water has a blue dye that is safe for people and animals. It’s a dye that aids in blocking uv rays. Please be sure to check weather. If we get heavy rain it can get muddy in areas. Approximately 1 acre fully fenced (5 ft) area on 3-acre property. This spot is for the area contained within the black chain link fence. Parking available on barn drive. Table, chairs, water, shade.

The back yard of my property is fully enclosed with minimum 5ft cedar fencing. Easy gated entry off the large parking pad. Please note: -There is a swimming pool but generally guests do not use it unless specifically cleared with me. -sprinkler may be available for use on hot days -I have 4 pet chickens that will be contained in a secure coop/run; guests are welcome to say “hello” to them, but please do not to enter the enclosure/shed/coop. Absolutely NO DOGS in the run or coop at any time, failure to adhere to policy will result in you being asked to leave immediately. Adirondack chairs and seating area with shade sail pergola available for your enjoyment. Please do not allow dogs onto the outdoor furniture on the patio. There is also a forest preserve area at the end of my street that backs up to the Dupage River; it is not enclosed in any way, but free to the public if you would like to go down to the river.

Welcome! Come on over and have some fun with your dog in a safe set up. Walk the trails in the forest and prairie to create stronger bond or practice off leash commands without distractions. Use the fenced in agility playground to boost your dog’s confidence or simply play around on the obstacles. The agility area is fully fenced in with 6foot fencing. There is another fully fenced in yard next to it that allows for lots of running.
