Welcome to NE Portland Dog Getaway! We provide a luxurious .25 acre backyard. The yard is fully fenced in, and most of the gate is at a height of 6 feet and 3 inches. The entrance gate is 5 feet 1 inch. There is a section in the corner, where the ground goes higher, and the fence sits at 3 feet 6 inches. The other side gate is at 5 feet 10 inches. Additionally, two of the 3 neighbors do have dogs, but only let them out occasionally. If they hear another dog, they usually take them inside.

PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS TOO IF THEY'RE MEETING YOU HERE. THANK YOU!! Upon entering, you won’t be able to see the people or dogs in field one (F1) while you are in F2. Maybe just a glimpse of them when they are arriving or leaving their cars from a distance. We have buildings and trees that separate the two. We offer poop bags all around the field, and a garbage can for your use (used poop bags only please). If you happen to see a pile someone missed, please help us out, but PLEASE BE AWARE OF YOUR PETS AND PICK UP AFTER THEM, TOYS TOO!!!. Thank you so much for your cooperation! We also provide a large fence attached bowl and water hose, balls/chukits and fun toys, comfy swing, and plenty of tables/benches. ALSO, if you'd like to have an event on our farm anywhere, we can discuss your wants and make something work for you. We also host overnight stays in two cottages we have on the property. BUT, you CANNOT bring your pets here to stay the night. We want to keep the cottages pristine and dander free for our Airbnb glamping guests that book here. Thanks for reading! There is plenty to sniff for the pups and we maintain the pasture regularly to keep the grass short. A: Hawthorn berries! Q: Do you have toys at your location? A: Unfortunately we do not offer toys at our sniffspot due to frequent replacement being costly, this choice helps us to keep our price low. Occasionally we will have them available thanks to donations from guests in our small dog community to share with others but it is not guaranteed. Q: How often is the spot cleaned? A: At the end/ beginning of each day we reset the shelter area for the next day by wiping down the tables, chairs and washing out the water bowls. At the end of each week we mow, change out the 5 gallon water jug, empty the trash bin and do a thorough walk through of the field to pick up any trash/dog 💩 left behind. *EDITS* 5/28/24* By request we've made some improvements on making this spot more small dog friendly by filling in noticable gaps under our fences and gates! 6/4/24* We've ordered supplies to update sagging area's in fencing and added water bowls. 9/16/24* Gate lock has been fixed.

Welcome to our Sniffspot in peaceful and friendly inner Northeast Portland! This spacious lot offers the perfect balance of grassy and paved areas for your pup to explore and play. Our yard is south-facing, which means it gets plenty of sunlight throughout the day. Relax on the patio furniture, and enjoy easy access to water for your pets with a nearby spigot. The yard is enclosed by a 6-foot tall chainlink privacy fence, providing a safe and secure environment for your dog to roam freely. We’ve got everything you need for easy clean-up during your visit: a pooper scooper, waste bags, and a pet waste trash can all within easy reach. No need to bring your own supplies—we’ve got you covered! Thirsty? We usually have crisp, cold seltzer waters for $2 (see “Extras”). Flavors are rotated regularly, so there’s always something new to try. Message us to check which flavors are available!

1 acre fully fenced property out in the countryside. Just 10 minutes from the Delany exit, and off a gravel road. Shelter and water bowels provided, as well as big water tubs provided in the summer months to keep your pups cool. Huge yard to throw a ball and play with your pup, or walk the property and get some steps in. Hammock set up only during the spring and summer with nice weather.

PLEASE READ: Hi! My name is Theresa. I recently started my sniffspot and love sharing my property with you and your doggos to enjoy. We will provide you and your best friend ( friends) with two acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage, roam amongst the trees, dig, or just take in all the smells. Our visitors tell us It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or practice on some of the agility equipment . Our space is very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of texture. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property, which is my backyard. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, you will most likely hear my pups if they are outside. We have placed a privacy material along the fencing so that the dogs will not be able to have any contact, but they will see shadows through the material. My pups may bark and run up and down the fence line as you play in the forest if they hear you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will hear them. If you have aggressive or reactive dogs, PLEASE give me a heads up. Follow the sign and park on the grass in front of the private entrance gate. Please do NOT park in the driveway. Please do NOT ring the doorbell of the duplex.

Next door neighbor Has horses, which are not directly alongside the fence, but nice to view them . Across the street , Front neighbor has cows . ATTN:The metal gates have a gap between them and underneath the metal gates . Shouldn’t be a problem for larger dogs or dogs who are focused on their toys, or non escape artists. please clean up after all dogs to maintain the space clean at all times . :)

Sit in the woodsy A-frame hut, out of the sun or rain while your pups explores the 1/3 acre area. Sit at the picnic table and share lunch together. Need to get out some energy? Run your dog through all the agility obstacles! A Saw-Dust Toilet Outhouse is available for your convenience. See pictures. It’s there incase you need it. Coming Soon: a swing-set for the kids, more obstacles, more toys. Dogs are free to dig as much as they want! Our farm is 1/2 mile down a private drive. The Sniffspot is at our property entrance along our driveway. There’s a mini-Aussie that lives in the white house 500 ft away from the Sniffspot. Fully fenced field with a few trees in front of our house. We also have a wooden picnic table for you to use in the field, and a faucet so you have access to fresh water for your pup. A portable toilet has been added near the parking area for your convenience.

Welcome to our backyard! We have a fully fenced 0.25 acre for you and your pups to enjoy. Feel free to pull up in the driveway and park as close to the chain link gate with Sniffspot! sign (near basketball hoop) as possible. There are extra poop bags as well as a scooper and trash can. When it’s not being used for Sniffspot, the space is used by our kids, so please pick up after your pets! Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to help you enjoy this space. 😊🐶

This is our second spot. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE RIGHT SPOT. Sauvie Island Farm #2 ‘shady acres’ is a fully fenced area in the back of our farm, cool and shady for these summer days. Plenty of sniffs, eagles, rabbits, deer, and other wildlife. Great views. Private. Some farm machinery and active farm fields will be visible. It is accessed by a drive through the fields that can be a bit bumpy, but does not require 4WD. Hiking shoes or hiking boots are best here. The first time we will escort you on the ‘farm road’ back to the spot.

Happy Apple Dog Park-AKA Gus’ Park is a fully fenced yard with lawn and some bark dust, There multiple shrubs, trees and plants for your furry companion to check out. A farm favorite are the giant oak trees which provide shade. Feel free to take a seat and watch your friend run and explore! On site we have a small dog (23lbs) and a multiple cats as well as three horses. The neighbors on both sides have dogs but there is no contact-just line of sight! Come enjoy Gus’ favorite spot!

It is fully 1 ace private open, combination with trees shade area, that is in Portland. My spot is very not far by the freeway, easily accessible and has private entrance. We provide freshwater and poop bags for dogs. Chairs for people. Dog party are welcome! Please clean up after your dog, if you have kids, please keep the kid safe.

Please use gate entrance with Sniffspot sign on it. Feel free to use grass and paved area to turn around in order to pull out safely :)! I have designated blocks in scheduling currently because I will be utilizing field one as I work on my garden. If your dogs are unbothered by people (me gardening), please message me and I will open the space for you to reserve your time. Please read ALL descriptions (including photos) before entering property. Failure to do so will result in being blocked, as this is to keep you, your dogs, and my dogs and babies safe :)! Return the toys and balls to where you found them, to the best of your ability. 5 acres is a lot of ground to cover. Pick up your dog poop. Please leave the place as you found it. Don’t knock on my doors, and do not ask me for my phone number, unless it is an emergency! If there is an emergency I will assist to the best of my ability, and I do offer a pet first aid kit (bleed stop, staple gun, antimicrobrial wound spray, etc) with phone numbers on hand of local emergency vets (you won’t need these, but I have them just incase!) We have 3 separate fields. Black berry bushes are very present in all fields. FIELD 1: Closest to busy road, least suitable for free-roam incase of delivery or neighbor utilizing third gate on easement. I consider this field “the buffer zone”. Best suited for dogs with proper recall skills, best to have pups leashed until you enter field 2 otherwise. Orange flags indicate boundaries as a buffer to prevent trespassing onto neighboring property back into the woods. There are times when I have to leave or enter the property, or deliveries may be made. Water access is in field 1 by the house, and please turn off water when finished refreshing for yourself. Our dogs will be heard from this field (from inside of the house). You will find the 2nd gate entrance here, into field 2. Look for the black garbage can, as well as blue kiddy pool to navigate to field 2 (by brush pile). FIELD 2: the best field! Our backyard. It is completely fenced in, private, and safe for dogs 15lbs and up- smaller dogs such as our 9lb dog need to wear a device (to recall) or a large harness of sorts because fencing is large enough for them to escape through. The fencing is approximately 3’ high, 3”x4” holes, typical cattle fencing. Horses can be seen from this field on neighbor’s property, along with their dog, Cooper. It is sloped, which is excellent for exercise! There are trees blocking our house and windows for privacy (great because of our noisy dogs) and has easy gate access, as well as accessible water. There is a nice view of Mt. Hood on the log benches, and Adirondack chairs, with a couple of log benches scattered around, a few in the lower portion of the field 3 under the trees. I try my best to maintain and refresh a kiddy pool and the water bowl, but please help yourself. Field 3: I strongly recommend against use of field 3 during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off in field 3, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance (on foggy days). Field 3 continued: This is an excellent field for dogs with recall skills. Through the first two fields, is field 3, a property long and flat, one which openly borders our neighbor’s property. You must go through the gate at the bottom of field 2 to enter this field. While this field is technically entirely fenced, the entire property is not all ours, so we have marked boundaries using orange flags, and “Do not enter” signs. Please reference photos for what these orange boundary flags look like. The orange flags indicate hazards along fence line, entrance to bee hives (marked by “Do Not Enter” signs, and boundaries between properties. Close each gate behind you. Field three is wooded, so please note that dogs with excellent recall skills may forget them with all of the scents ruminating from this area. This wooded area wraps up and around to field one if you find you have lost your pup. If I hear you yelling for your pup, I’ll probably come ask if you need help. Cautions: Coyotes frequent this lower field (field 3) on a semi-regular basis, so large dogs with proper recall training are advised only. I strongly recommend against use of this field during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance. Also, coyotes tend to be more active during these foggy periods. This field (field 3) is a split property (2 parcels), half ours, half theirs. The neighboring owners have bee hives! Please be mindful of bees, and maintaining general boundaries (see photos of orange flags designating boundary lines). It’s quite rugged, so be mindful of wild animal scat, mole holes, and uneven grass. There is a digging area here too. DO NOT allow your dogs to dig in the mini gardens please! I have seen coyotes, skunks, deer, owls, a feral cat, and bunnies in this field. Horses and neighbor dog cooper are sometimes visible. Don’t be intimidated, unless your dog has poor recall skills.
