55Kasey has an amazing spot to let your dogs be dogs! Hound and cattle dog approved!! We had so much fun and I was able to let both off leash so they could be themselves! The terrain offers a lot of different textures for the dogs (grassy, wooded, good running trails). If she says wear boots, wear your boots. We will definitely be back!Melissa C.

55Kasey was very responsive to messages and welcoming and helpful the day of the visit. Our dog Jude (and us too honestly) LOVED it here. The area is very large and fully fenced in which is not something our city pup is used to. It is muddy and there are bugs (as is natural with the woods) so make sure you are prepared and be sure to wear bug spray and definitely check for ticks after. We also saw a snake which was cool, just keep an eye out.Marley M.

55Such a fantastic property. Love all the little trails they’ve created. My dog is great off leash but not a fan of strange dogs so I love that this spot gives her a chance to explore off leash. She didn’t not stop moving the entire time we were there (nearly 2 hours)
I don’t have her energy levels but thankfully there’s a picnic table where I was able to take a break. X. Natasha L.

55Huge property, which makes an excellent dog park. Very friendly owner. Property is easy to find. I recommend wearing boots, because it was partly muddy. Will definitely come back.Doris F.

55We had a great time exploring the property and it was such a gift allowing my dog to run free in a fenced, secure area. Icing on the cake - we didn't find any ticks after!Laura S.

55Second time here and it was even better. The first time, I mainly stuck to the outer perimeter path, but there’s so many trails in the middle, we did many loops on varying routes. I’ll be back again!Amy L.

55My pups had so much fun! Lots of good paths and the fencing was good for my 90 pound pup. There is a little bump in the driveway so be aware of that if your car rides low! All in all a very good experience and my pups are satisfied!Alex D.

55Plenty big enough for lots of sniffing and exploring, but not too big that you would spend a lot of time searching for your dog if they get out of your site. Great hosting, and we will definitely be back.Mike H.

55We will definitely be back! Kasey’s property had a lot of shade with paths cleared out for me to walk. My dog would run paths and occasionally jump into taller grass to sniff- she has a lot of energy but didn’t even last the full hour here before she was resting at the gate waiting to go home. 5510 ⭐️ spot for sure! The trails are nicely maintained. Shady routes. Sunny routes. We stumbled across a picnic table which was nice as the humidity was insane so nice spot to have some water. FYI - there’s water at the house however my dog overheats quickly so I brought my own. Saved us a trip up to the house.
We will def be back as I’m working on recall with my dog. He listened 99% of the time. The one time he didn’t I was thankful for the fence. 😉
Don’t hesitate - book this spot. You’ll not be sorry

55This is a wonderful spot for a dog who loves woods and lots of sniff-spiration. My favorite part of this spot is that there are so many places where the path diverges into 2 other paths - it was awesome to just let my dog choose and follow her. She LOVED it all. I wish I could upload video here, b/c I have awesome video of her running and jumping and rolling and also sitting still at attention and listening to all of the bird sounds. Even though it was really humid, the spot was pretty cool b/c of all of the tree cover. We will be back for sure and plan to book 2-hour times when it's cooler, so we can explore further. p.s. The Bigfoot wooden cutout is a funny touch and my dog was curious about it. :) Ellen L.

FAQ about our Moseley dog hiking trails
Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
How can I find dog hiking trails in Moseley?
There are 12 dog hiking trails in the Moseley area. The most popular dog hiking trail is Kasey's Private Dog Park In Moseley. You can browse all of our dog hiking trails here.
How do I know if a dog hiking trail works for my dog?
Sniffspot provides the tools to find the ideal spot. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing 6 feet tall and distractions, to find a dog park with trails that works for your dog. You can also filter by size if you are looking for a certain acre park, an expansive off-leash dog park. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog hiking trails. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog hiking trails where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Since you are looking for trails, make sure to check photos to see if it the spot has flat trails or gnarly trails. You can also browse by specific amenities, if you are looking for a view or a beach, for instance, or other activities or fun features. You can check whether the spot has off or on street parking, the regular park hours, whether it has paved trails or a modern restroom.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog hiking trail?
In order to hike the trails, we require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
