Lazy Bones Acres offers 5 acres of wooded hiking trails for you and your furry companion to enjoy. Pack a lunch to enjoy on one of our picnic tables along the way or simply take in the peacefulness of the forest and wildlife. Listen to the squirrels chase each other in the tree tops, the woodpeckers pecking away in a nearby tree, or the geese honking at a nearby pond. Wildlife that are commonly seen on visits include deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, chipmunks, a beautiful array of wild birds, and much more. *Our terrain is uneven as it goes through woods. If you have trouble with balance or walking, please reconsider your visit to our property for your safety. Trails are kept clear, but raspberry and blackberry bushes present thorns, please use caution with these prickers. ** Our spot is fully fenced, however if your dog is not command trained we do not recommend letting them off leash. Cholula is a 5 year old GSP rescue who knows the value of play as she has had reactivity issues in the past (although she’s worked past most of those issues :) We understand the difficulty of these issues and she’s excited to share her space with you! Come spend time in a flowery private space with a kiddie pool, small agility set, toys and fresh water bowl.

Our yard is a longer more narrow yard which allows the dogs a little more distance for their runs. There is landscape bordering the fence and a garden in the front of the yard next to a yoga studio. There are areas to explore and areas for both dog and owner to relax, and a secure dog run that can be used for training. There is some agility equipment, a small plastic pool, as well as a sandbox and a deck with a roof in the dog run to help keep the dogs cool on a hot day. Water(hose), dog bowl(s), toys and towel(s) to dry the dogs off will be provided.

Fully fenced in yard for all pups to come and play at! We have a gazebo with 3 chairs and a small table for the humans as well. One doggy agility jump that is adjustable to any size dog! Water hose available, we also have a crazy daisy for pups to play with. Plenty of tennis balls and healthy treats as well. Water bowls and fresh water is available for dogs and humans!
