I have a large space that I am sure a dog will love to run in. In the winter, post rain, it can get VERY muddy back there. Years of dogs running around has torn up a lot of the ground cover and it's now just dirt, which becomes mud in the winter. In the summer, the "grass" (more weeds than actual grass) gets very dry. There are some burrs due to the dryness so if your dog has longer fur they might get some attached to them. I do my best to weed the weeds that produce them, but there still might be some. It's a fairly large open space with a longer run on the side. Also, I want to note that in the back of the property the fence is lower, around 4/4.5 feet (the rest of the yard is at least 6 feet), so if your dog is a good jumper, this could be an issue. Lovely! Spacious, clean, and beautiful with a super secure fence (very tall and solid with three gates between yard and street). It’s mostly gravel, which my dog doesn’t love to run around on, so he had a great time relaxing and enjoying spending some time outside. Lots of seating/shade so that you can put your stuff down and sit and relax too if your dog is in a chill mood. No foxtails :) A little dusty so maybe don’t wear crocs like me if you want to run around with your dog! Courtney is communicative, kind, and was super accommodating when Sniffspot messaging issues led to a bit of confusion.

This was a great yard for our fearful pup. The yard had a lot of shade, and good sniffs. The one downside to their spot is their neighbor directly across from them has a dog in their front yard that is very visible behind a small metal fence. Luckily our reactive dog didn’t see it, but in the future that could be a big obstacle. Their neighbors were also sometimes visible while we were in the yard. We’ll come back for sure!

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
