55We had a GREAT time here at our first sniff spot! Dorinda messaged us prior to our visit and was super fast responding, and Tyler was very hospitable and welcoming. The space is great and Winston, being the lab he is, LOVED the pond in the middle of the field. They also provide poop bags, toys, balls, and a fresh towel knowing the pups will get muddy. We’ll be back!Jessica F.

55We love this spot. It's fairly close to home, and the dogs just love the entire space. Easy to drive in, off load and on load dogs. Always seems super clean. Cathy P.

55This is a large space to keep up, but Nancy does an amazing job. She comes by most days, filling gopher holes to keep the space safe for our dogs. We love this Sniffspot! Book in advance for your favorite time. Penny L.

55Hard to imagine a more suitable spot for my three Anatolian Shepherds to romp, and for me to train them too. It was sunny and almost hot during our first visit in the late morning, but there was also ample shade to sit and chill. Water bowls and toys, tables and chairs are all available. I've already booked another visit.Bret M.

55It was so nice to find a safely fenced country acre for our two dogs to run and play. We will definitely be back! Our city dogs are worn out!Carolyn A.

55Such a great Sniffspot! I’m babysitting my daughter’s dogs, so her 2 and my 2 have a lot of excitement to run off. They were able to really let off steam here. JOANNA G.

55I have an 8 lb. fearful dog, so my review is from that perspective. It's a nice, big, open area. Mostly dirt and low weeds now. The fencing is secure post & wire, but there are a few areas where there are 4-6" high gaps at ground level. If your dog is very tiny or determined, I would walk the fence perimeter to be safe, but it was fine for my dog. The field is on Pepper Rd, so there's vehicle traffic going by--something to be aware of if your dog is scared of cars, but again, my dog was OK with it. Any dogs barking were not close. Some cows in the next field across the lane. There is a tree for shade and tables/chairs to sit. Easy access. All in all, very nice. We"ll book again!Sohni Y.

55Wow! So glad to find this spot 10 mins from my house, huge area, smooth ground (like the no digging sign) good for my girl who has already had one knee surgery!
We will definitely return Siobhan M.

55This spot was great! Plenty of room for our two German Shepherds to run around and tire themselves out. Also appreciated that there was water for the pups. It was windy when we were there so I would recommend bringing a jacket. Also note that you are supposed to park inside the gate— we missed the sign and didn’t notice until we are were leaving. Would definitely go back. Karen B.

55A super spot! It’s a typical West County pasture, so the ground’s a little uneven, the grass is wet, and there’s some critter poop around. In other words, doggie heaven. Wear decent shoes or boots. Fencing was secure, no problem for my 8 lb. pup. She just likes to run around and sniff, so this was a perfect spot for her. I’m going to book again now!Sohni Y.

55Our fur babies needed a good run and time for recall training. We really value having a safe place for both and we really enjoyed our time. We left with two happy, tired dogs. The host thoughtfully left out useful items including towels and holiday treats, both which we appreciated very much! Carol A.

FAQ about our Olivehurst dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
