55Lovely large space with two distinct mowed areas separated by a naturalized space with cross crossing mowed paths. Our pup had a lot of fun exploring off leash. The hand sanitizer, bug spray (didn’t need it) and cookie jar with doggy treats was a welcome touch.Jane M.

55My dog and I had an awesome time! There were both short and tall grass areas to explore with neatly mowed paths to walk through which made for a very enriching experience for my dog. Water bowls, toys, picnic table, and poop bags are readily available. The property is scenic and well maintained. Host is very responsive as well. Very peaceful and quiet aside from the rooster crowing which my dog didn’t mind at all. We heard barking from inside the house when entering and leaving, but no dogs visible at all. One thing to mention is to keep a close eye on your pups in the longer grass areas — if they’re anything like ours it will be quite the scavenger hunt! I apologize if we left any “mess” 💩 behind, we did our best to keep a close eye on them! And it’s tick season (nothing to do with the host/spot) so you’ll want to keep an eye out for that as well in those areas!

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
