Top Dog Vistas has 4 acres of fully fenced trails for you and your dog to enjoy. (All dogs must be on leash for the first 300 feet from the parking lot to the gate.) This hike is not for everyone as it climbs 200 feet in about 1/4 mile. Once you get up the hill there are awesome views and rest stations scattered along the trails that are cut through the trees and brush. The total distance if you wander all of the trails at the top of the hill is about one mile.

The Doggy Dome

We live on 15 acres, and now have 1.5 acres fully fenced! It is all very flat land making for an easy stroll with your dogs. We are boarded on two edges by farm fields and two edges by neighbors. There is a trail that circles the property, with plenty of space to explore. During the summer, please take advantage of the small kiddie pool. There are also toys and chairs in the fenced area for all guests. Some seasonal things to keep in mind: Spring/fall when we have heavy rain, some areas could have standing water and/or be muddy. Mid to late summer, there are fox tails (cheat grass) that can cling to your dogs. Winter, the trails might not be plowed. There will be a 5gal bucket in the wood shed (inside the fenced area) full of water you can use to refill the two water bowls. Keep an eye out for trip hazards! Logs, sticks, uneven ground and holes.

We have an acre fenced that we want dogs to come and enjoy a good run or a fun place to play ball. There is a shelter to stand under if needed with two chairs that can be moved as needed. Most of the area is flat and there are some trees is the back of the property with longer grass. You do have to walk up a little hill to get to the flat part but it is not bad. There is a parking area right outside the man-gate where you enter with a parking sign. We have put a chuck it with balls and a frisbee under the bench lid for you to use as well as weave poles and an adjustable jump for the pups to try out. Everything you need as far as water, water bowl and toys are all under the bench lid by the big tree. *Updated hours: more availability at night but know the mosquitos are bad when the sun goes down so please wear bug spray or use the bug spray provided. *With spring and summer coming more people are out so there may be noise while at the spot, we do have neighbors with kids and dogs. Daphne had so much fun here, it's very well kept and the thoutfulness did not go unseen. Multiple benches and a picnic table, water bowls and treats! When we went to leave we even got to see the cutest little goat. I'm sure it's in the description, but this is a good little walk and it is all uphill. But the view from the top is well worth it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first time visit to the 4 acre top dog vista… it exceeded our expectations! Our pups were thrilled to explore the many game trails connecting the main trails throughout the vista, along with the challenging incline of the property. A tired pup is a good pup! We had all the room to roam without any distraction. Multiple places to sit and rest (this is a moderately sloped area - so a couple of benches were a nice addition). Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
