We have Multiple areas available for rent (privately between you and your friends) ranging in square footage. Area 1 (5,460 sq ft) is a Dock Diving pool area, great for dogs who are confident swimmers and divers. Area 2 (3,150 sq ft) is great for small dogs and hosts some agility equipment. Area 3 (11,913 sq ft) is great for medium and large dogs. Area 5 is our inground pool which is heated and great for dogs and humans. Area 6 is our freshwater filtered splash pond, great for dogs to learn how to swim. Lastly we have a members only dog park (33,706 sq ft). You and your dog have to pass a recall/body language test to make sure everyone is safe, combined with security cameras our dog park really takes it to a new level of fun and safety. Area 1 - $30/half hour & $45 for 1 hour Area 2 & Area 3 - $10/half hour & $15 for 1 hour. Area 5 - $25/half hour & $40 for 1 hour Area 6 - $20/half hour & $33 for 1 hour. With plenty of room to run, explore, and play, this spot is ideal for dogs who need a bit of space to stretch their legs. The area is mostly grassy, with a few shady spots and gentle hills, providing a calm environment away from busy streets. Fresh water and shaded seating are available for both you and your dog to relax and enjoy your time here. Whether your dog wants to run around or simply explore at their own pace, Golden Root Acres is a great place to let them be themselves in a safe, quiet setting. Please park anywhere in the driveway and enjoy your visit!

The arena is 8450sq ft of sand, fully fenced and located on a horse farm. There is a separate entrance near the parking lot for easy arrival and great for dogs who do not like to see other animals/people. Reactive dogs can be accommodated and are welcome - we know they need play time too! Pooper scooper/pitchfork and trash can are provided, please clean up after yourself and your dog. We ask that you do not let them excessively dig in the footing - a rake has been provided if needed. There may be jumps, large balls and dog toys in the arena which you are welcome to use. Dogs must be on leash when entering and exiting and at all times when outside of the arena. **During the summer months the large arena door is open for airflow, it is gated and most large dogs can not sneak out. If you have a small dog or an escape artist please feel free to pull it closed. Alternatively let us know before your arrival and we can close it for your visit.**

We offer 20 acres of woods with some trails for your dogs enjoyment. Please keep your dog on leash until in the dedicated Sniffspot area. Parking for the woods with trails is available along the boulevard at the entrance to the trail. You have to drive past our driveway to get to the entrance. Please do not touch or approach the horses. Water is available outside at the front of the training arena. Come play with us!

I have 2 large rescue dogs and know how important it can be to find a safe space for them to run and play in that's off leash. Lots of room for zoomies, toys and the agility structure is a hit with all the dogs. Reinforced lattice and bottoms of the fence so it's great for tiny dogs too! 100% private so there will be no other dogs in the backyard at the time of your visit; so perfect for reactive dogs to safely enjoy some zoomies and off-leash play! Reservations are always 100% Private; just you and your pup! You may hear my neighbours or neighborhood dogs, but once you're in the backyard, you won't see anyone :) Lot's of toys and activities for dogs including dog sprinkler and wading pool for hot days. Tons of comfy seating and huge deck with table for their humans to relax and watch them get their zoomies out! I volunteer and support a number of dog rescues and all proceeds from my Sniffspot are donated back to them!

Our back yard is lots of fun for both dogs and humans! We have lots of shade and sun, a doggy bed, dog toys and treats, and lounge chairs for humans. If you have kids, they’re welcome too. Our two little girls love to meet new dogs, but also can stay inside if your dog is shy. Pepper, our Italian Greyhound is super fun and social, and she’s happy to come say hi or stay inside. We have drinks, a washroom, parking, and anything else you need for a comfy play date. Even a plastic pool if your doggy likes to splash! We have a fire pit with seating in one of the grass acres. There are no longer Alpacas and goats here as they’ve moved to the farm down the road. But you will come across Canadian Geese and Wild Turkeys, and sometimes Deer. As you drive by the red barn to the parking area you will sometimes see our dog friendly dog Butch in his gated area most likely sleeping! 😄 Once you reach your parking it is private and you are alone.

We have treed areas, large manicured and unfenced areas for zoomies, a pond for frogging plus an L-shaped fully fenced, fully secure area that wraps around the north and east side of the house. It is a very nice size for a small to medium dogs. It has a manicured portion and a unmaintained portion. (The east side is aprx 60’ long x 25’ wide and the north side is aprx 100’ x 20’ wide.) Larger than some city backyards! We have kiddie pool for splashing and towels for drying the toe beans before getting in the car! We also have fresh water bowl areas with toys such as tennis balls, sticks and tug toys for your dogs enjoyment! A good size small/medium dogs, or large dogs who don’t need the space to sprint, our fully fenced yard is full of mature trees, garden features, and nooks and crannies for your fur baby to explore. Our home is on a corner lot, so one half is fully fenced and one half isn’t fenced - you’re welcome to use either/both areas at your discretion. There’s a nice mix of shady and sunny spots. We have a water hose you’re welcome to, and if you’d like we can set up a kiddy pool (just let us know in advance). There are also some dog toys and poo bags for your use. The humans are welcome to make use of the deck, chairs, table, swings, or campfire pit. We have a 13yo very gentle German Shorthaired Pointer and a 3yo 20lb Cockapoo full of energy. You’ll have the yard to yourselves, but if you’d like for the dogs to play together let us know and we can have a play date (assuming it’s safe for everyone - our dogs aren’t territorial about their yard and have been happy to share with visitors). So grab a coffee, a good book, and enjoy the yard while your furry companion explores!

Taken stunning views of the Oxbow farm just behind. We do have neighbors on either side so staying within our property boundaries would Definitely be a must. You enter our driveway from highway 54 and Brant County Rd. 18. You can park in the driveway (keep to the right side) and walk around to the backyard. We do have a steep ravine trail that heads down to the river at the center back of our yard. You are more than welcome to head down the trail to the river, but it is quite the incline decline and can be pretty messy. Use at your own risk!
