The Zoomie Zone was born out of our extensive dog rescue volunteer work and the benefits that a Sniffspot brings to those who have dogs, but don't have a yard for them to run in. Not all dogs are dog-park dogs (and not all humans properly supervise their dogs at dog parks - making it an unsafe place at times)! We deeply care about dogs being healthy and happy! Our sniff spot is a fully fenced in area that is a great place to be with your dog !!!! There is some ferny rock climbing for the adventurous and some areas where your dog will enjoy running around ! Our quiet, fully fenced (6’ privacy fence) almost 1 acre yard offers a variety of dog & human friendly spaces. There’s a secure entrance to the yard from a large circle driveway. There is a deck with table, seating, and umbrellas, a small pond, a screened in gazebo with a fan and seating, a hammock area, a shaded doggy hangout, and a fire pit with seating. We have a variety of surfaces: concrete sidewalk, mulch landscaping beds, dirt holes for digging, wood deck with rugs, gravel beds, and plenty of grass! The yard is lined with large trees for shade- it is in almost full shade after 5pm in the summer months. There’s plenty of dog toys and various water bowl zones. We also provide fresh spring water & treats! Feel free to pick blueberries on our four large bushes in August/September.
