Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large, fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends. March 28th, 2025: we will be open on nice days for those who don't mind parking in our driveway by the barn and walking to the spot. Please bring your own water. Situated on a scenic working farm, the Pooch Playground spans about 1/4 acre and is fully enclosed. Tucked next to a small woodland area, this location offers enough distance from the house and barn for a feeling of privacy. The field adjacent to the area is preserved for wildlife. We mow the spot every week, except during drought conditions. We purposely maintain longer grass (2-3 inches instead of cutting it too short) to withstand high traffic and dog urine. We leave 'islands' of grass long for sniffing and exploration. Look at the pictures of the spot. If a toy ends up in the field and you don't want to walk through the tall grass, let us know, and we will retrieve it.

Ruby’s Retreat for Reactive Dogs is a place where a dog can come to be dog. We have about .75 acres fenced with a ramp, oversized dig box, hideout, tether tug, (available upon request)kiddie pool and or splash pad. We also have about an acre of wooded trails that were created for Ruby and her brother’s daily sniff and strolls. Ruby was dog reactive which limited her outings, we would like to give other dogs the opportunity to be a dog with no stress and just be a dog. This spot is in memory of Ruby and her way of helping other dogs like her. Rocky (Ruby’s brother) and Ruby were the inspiration behind what we’d like to offer your dog. Thanks for checking us out 🐾🐾

Welcome to our Sniffspot! We bought our property especially for the large yard. It’s a great space for dogs to run and play and sniff. The street facing part of the yard has 6ft privacy fence and the rent has a combo of chain link, 6ft wood or heavy duty wire. The yard is very secure for both large and small dogs. We have lots of birds, squirrel and chipmunks, and occasionally a raccoon or fox visits so the smells are endless. We hope your pup(s) will enjoy it as Miah as ours does.

Our farm is open fields, tons of trees to play hide and seek in, and lots of riverfront area for dogs to swim. There are ungroomed “walking trails” that go around the entire property. Center of property tends to be wet. My personal dogs will remain inside the house while you are here. Bring your own poop bags please. Dogs with good recall are allowed off leash, at your own risk, please. We love all breeds of dogs with every quirk and ability. We respect that all dogs have different temperaments; all dogs are welcome, no matter how they feel towards strangers or other animals. We will do our 100% best to ensure no person or domestic animal will bother you on your adventure here. We work in animal rescue and commit that all proceeds will go towards continuing to help abandoned, abused, and neglected pets. Thank you for enjoying our peaceful space. My name is Seth and I've been a lifelong dog owner. I've always loved getting out for adventures and finding new spots to let dogs romp off leash. My dogs Boss and Kona were temperamental with other dogs so it was always important to find safe spots to let them off leash. They were the inspiration for my fenced in backyard! Kona passed in September 2022 and Boss passed in July 2023, so I've opened up the space to those who might need a fenced in area to help their dog(s) expend that energy! We believe a tired dog is a happy dog, and an even happier owner 😉

Hi! Welcome! I have a fully fenced in backyard with plenty of parking on Main Street in Hampstead. There is plenty of room for your dog to run around and plenty of smells from my dogs. One section of the fence is only 3 feet high, so it may not work if your dog is a jumper. My neighbor has horses that may be in a nearby pasture. There are also dogs that live next-door. If you are coming, I will keep my dogs in the house. They will probably not even know you are out there. There is one spot that can get muddy depending on the weather. The rest of the yard is grass and a small area of bushes and other vegetation. There is also a rocky area under my deck. During the warmer months, there will be a picnic table and chairs. Please bring bags and pick up after your dog. There is a trash bucket out there. I will also have a water bowl out there during the warmer months. There is a gate if you need to block off the stairs to the deck. It is next to the shed under the deck. I have tenants that may go in and out off the deck but I inform them of visits and they are dog people. Thank you! Please let me know if you need anything. All unfenced, peninsula provides natural barrier, very private Gravel road, bring sturdy shoes for walk down and back, needs to be graded after recent rain Recommend SUV or truck if driving down the hill! If sedan, park at top and walk down (although our sedan does make it down FYI)
