Hello! In 2020, we bought our backyard for our dogs and our house for us. We have loved the space and our now 2 daughters love it too. It is fully fenced, accessible privately by gate latch, and has trees, sand and pine straw galore. We want to provide you a quiet, safe, spacious time for you and your pup(s)!

We live on 13 acres. Half the land is farmed the other half is wooded. No fences, just open fields with plenty of room to roam.

Reminder that this is a property within a wooded area so encounters with natural wildlife and insects could occur. We have 3.3 wooded acres set back from the cul de sac and we back up to Duke Progress public game land. Previous owners created a trail out there that connects to a power line cut and 4x4 trails. You can hike for miles if you want and probably won’t see another person. We have a doggy paradise on our 3+ acres.

10 min from almost anywhere in Sanford. Bring your best friend for some off leash play time. We have access to a creek and plenty of woods to roam. Large yard for throwing their favorite toys which is partially fenced. Inside the fenced yard is a beautiful covered porch with access to wifi, 32in TV, and two comfortable swivel chairs. We currently have one older female lab mix that we can keep inside. She would love a play date, if you're into that as well. Always available for overnight or daycare visits as well. Let our oasis cater to your bestie!

Located on rural quiet property in the Uwharrie forest. Lots of room for your dog to sniff, run, and get some energy out. There is a pond and a trail that goes into the woods. Small fenced yard is available out back upon request.

Three mowed acres fully gated and fenced. Three of the four sides have 6x6 inch fence gaps, so very small dogs (<18lbs) may need to be leashed if you think they will try to escape. The fourth is regular chain-link.

Our yard is mostly flat and fully fenced. It is about 1/4 of an acre. We will provide a ball launcher and balls to play fetch with! We do have two dogs but they will be kept inside and away from windows and doors during your visit. In the summer we have a kiddie pool. We always provide poop bags and a designated trash can in the yard.

Fully fenced, seating and poop bags will be available as well as toys. Feel free to bring your own though! Corner has a small Forrest growing but it is fenced and we extended the fence higher back there as well so no need to worry about your dogs exploring in there. I Plan to upgrade my backyard for lots of dog fun if this goes well! So stay tuned for future updates. I have 2 dogs myself but they will be inside while you have full access to the yard, one of my dogs will probably bark for a while and watch you but he’s harmless. I hope you enjoy the space as much as my dogs do!

WE ASK YOU CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF AND PLEASE KEEP YOUR PET ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES. DO NOT MIND THE NOISE OF BARKING DOGS IN THE BACKGROUND AS THESE ARE OUR RESCUE PETS INSIDE WHOM WILL NOT COME OUT TO BOTHER YOU OR YOUR PET DURING YOUR TIME HERE AT FURRY FRIENDS REST STOP & PLAY AREA.

We welcome you to our little peace of heaven backing up to the national watershed reserves and game-land. We offer parking on the side of our yard away from the house where you'll have access to 4+ acres of woods within our property, and trail entrances to the public water-shed/game-lands. ******We only open our Sniffspot during non-hunting seasons for safety purposes. ****** Our family has been hiking these same trails for 10+ years, and over 100's of times with our pups.
