We found it with no problems, there are two possible openings in the fence but they’re easy enough to avoid on leash if you go further in the acres, or just use recall if your dogs are good with it. Mine were fine staying with me and had a blast exploring all the trails and many open spaces to run! There’s even a little tree section to get out of the rain. We will definitely be back! Lea H.

55This spot is so quiet and peaceful! My dog had a great time sniffing around and eating grass. I did miss the sniff spot sign because it isn’t super visible looking straight down the road so be on the lookout! The entrance will be on the right side with two small cones.

It’s a short walk between the car and river, so if you are there for a while I could see bringing something to create shade. The swimming was good as it’s not a fast moving area of the river. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
