Located a mile into the Frederick city resovior. Explore 1000 acres with with your furry friend. Easily 24+ miles of trails to explore. Tons of wildlife to encounter deer, turkey, rare birds, bears. Tons of natural springs and creeks, Cliffs that are walkable to beautiful views overlooking Lewistown and the application mountains. This is a private slice of heaven we are willing to share with for respectful dog owners for a price. If this works out I will add a fenced in area for play, and a training area if people would enjoy something like that. This area is super private and I've seen 3 hikers in 7 years. If your looking for something away from everyone and right next to Fredrick then look no farther you found your dream trail by opponent only. Possible you would be the only one on the mountain. I will probably get some walketalkies to communicate with hikers in case of emergency. This is a beautiful area but very remote I would recommend a friend, can get lost or twist an ankle if your new to the mountain. I'm not trying to detour anyone but thses trails are not really used by the public and might not see anyone for weeks so please be careful and know your limits not much cell service

**SNOW DAY! We are OPEN, but very snowy! Our driveway is clear and salted (pet safe ice melt). Inside the yards is not shoveled, so enjoy the snow! The chairs will be cleared off but we recommend staying off the picnic tables. They get icy.** Come visit us on our 9 acre farm, surrounded by farmland with no view of roads, dogs, or passersby! We will be adding some solar lights soon, but in the meantime be aware of when the sun sets before you make an evening appointment. We are open to visitors using our 12 acres of open field space, 3 acre pond, almost a half mile of stream, and 3 acres of woods. Trails move you around the pond and up into the woods. There is a lot to do here and a plethora of activities for dogs and humans ranging from open field play and running, hiking, and water activities. Please follow the signs and do not disturb the owners at house. Beach area of pond has seating areas, hammock, and fire pit. There is also a seating area and rope swing. Visitors are not permitted to fish in pond. The Ridge Trail is a bit more difficult for older dogs and humans and/or people not in the best shape to hike. Proceed with caution. CERTAINLY, please take the map provided at the entry table.

Hello fellow pet parents! We have a total of three lush green acres available for your beloved pet friends to explore. The space is fully-fenced. Our fence is a 3.5 foot high cattle fence with wire mesh. The entrance to our spot is a large metal swing gate. The spot has cut short-grass. There are lots of deer among other animals in the area so your dog can have their own sniffing adventure! No need to worry if your dog is reactive because these animals usually keep their distance. We have digging areas and poop bags. We also have some wood planks that could possibly be used for agility jumps (See pictures). You can enjoy a chill hangout at the picnic table, or relax on the lawn chairs while watching your pup. Hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and a trash can will be provided as well. At this time we are not able to offer water or doggy bowls. The area is quite tranquil; you can enjoy birds chirping or even meditate. Portable lawn chairs are also accessible. It’s a perfect place to take some time off from daily life struggles and relax; both for you and your furry friend! Shady spots are available during any time of the day if you don’t like to be under the sun. We would love to see your furry friends enjoying our yard. Complete freedom to roam on 30 acres with a bonus that our land is surrounded by another 200+ acres of electric company owned land with no roads, no cars, no neighbors… just grass and forest. We have a Google Earth picture roughly showing the property lines and the driveway for you to use while exploring. If you don’t want to clean up, we offer an extra called “Poop Patrol”, you can add this on to your visit and we will clean up for you. If we continue to have issues with poop not getting cleaned up, we will need to increase the price of our spot to compensate us for the additional time we have to spend cleaning up between visits. We don’t want to have to do this, so please be respectful and clean up the 💩 📍I believe the neighbors behind us got a new dog and they like to bark. Our fences do not touch, there is probably 10 feet of distance between our fences so there is no worries about fighting through the fence, but you may hear barking sometimes. They will eventually bring the dog in when the barking becomes too much 📍We laid some hay in and around the play area to help with the mud and protect the grass. 📍 We replaced the blue picnic table that was under the canopy with a couch and chair. There is lots of space for your dog(s) to run, and ample room to play fetch. There is plenty of outdoor seating to relax while you watch your dog(s) play and explore. The back right corner of the yard has a play area with a playhouse, caterpillar tunnel, tire tunnel, climbing cube, climbing dome, car bed, the biggest tire you’ve ever seen, and hammock. We also have a bunch of dog toys, including several herding balls of various sizes. Part of our yard is shady and part is sunny. You get the best of both worlds. The pool is completely fenced off from the rest off the yard. You don’t have to worry about your dog(s) accidentally falling in. Our yard is handicap accessible. There are no stairs to climb. The entrance to the backyard is a flat grassy area. The gate leading to the back yard is wide enough for a wheelchair or power chair. The yard has a slight incline, but there are no major obstacles that would prevent a wheelchair from moving around. We are located in Sykesville, MD which is about 30 mins from Baltimore and Columbia. 15 minutes from Owings Mills, Ellicott City, and Westminster.

We have a 30 acre tree farm located at the base of Sugarloaf Mt., away from roads, houses and people. Very secluded, with a 1/2 acre spring fed pond for swimming as well as groomed trails for sniffing, hiking and training. We are also a Lab Rescue foster family for young puppies and help train for their next fur-ever homes. Our place can also accommodate for upland and waterfowl training. We are as well associated with Buckeystown, Poolsville and Peachtree Veterinary hospitals.

The fenced yard is u-shaped and is a grassy hill, with flat spots on the top and bottom, just about an acre at this point. Our entire yard is about 3.5 acres and may be used, details under this. Great terrain to help your dog build some muscle or play fetch on for high energy dogs. Nice tree cover in the summer, and I’ll put out a couple chair swings under our shade tree - or bring a hammock, we have a couple trees perfect for it! We have an almost constant breeze that keeps the bugs away and the temperature comfortable. Wi-fi is available in most of the yard if you need it and there is electrical on the porch. We also have a small creek, flat grassy area and wooded area outside of the fence that you can use. The creek is spring fed and clean and the woods are on a hill. Great fun to walk around in. Please only use this if your dog is on a leash or 100% recall. We do have deer and other wildlife that visit. Hose for rinsing off provided. Water for dogs and poop bags and trash can will be by the porch. We will be expanding the fencing this fall to include another 1/2 acre or so and completely 6’ fence.

Our Sniffspot yard is open again. We are so happy to see you and your dogs again! The yard is fully fenced and we do not have other pets that will use the yard. We are located in a subdivision. We have had large and small dogs use our yard. Adam and Terrie love dogs and we no longer have a dog. We do not want to own another dog at this time but we love to have them around. We share our yard with you because it gives your dogs a chance to run and play and it gives us a chance to see a dog. We try to greet you as soon as you arrive, offer drinks and assistance, and if you allow it, we’d love to pet your dog(s)! We have a backyard that is covered in hard packed icy snow. We have blocked days and will open up again when it is a safe place for you and your dogs.
