Easy to get to, we are located right off route 17 & 5 miles from 95, right behind Stafford Lakes. My family has lived in Holly Corner since the 1800s, it is safe and quiet. Come enjoy the fresh air, beautiful view, relaxing farm with your dog or dogs! We are a different type of a working farm, as we provide storage and camping on the property and we also grow hay. There is many areas on the farm that one can go that you cannot see others, the road or the other side of the farm. Enjoy your visit!

The property is at the end of a 0.8 mile gravel driveway. There are paths around the property in the woods and a field for ball chasing. It’s very far from a main road and safe for running off leash.

My husband and I have a little peace of heaven here in the Shenandoah Valley! Our goal is to provide a space for all dogs to play, run and sniff away! We have a huge field with a platform/ramps, tug rope, agility poles, stick collection, hidden container with treats and possibly a prize toy! Throughout all of the years I spent in animal rescues, I realized that most dogs don’t get much time outside of the kennels. I also came to understand that many rescue animals have trauma related behaviors and cannot integrate with other dogs. Come explore our private, dog-friendly hillside five houses over the city limits of Charlottesville. We’ve got a little over 2 acres, with a mix of open yard, shaded woods, and a trail down to Moore’s Creek. The main area is a large, steep hill that’s perfect for dogs who love to run and fetch (and great for humans who prefer to stay at the top while the pup does the work)! There’s also a small fenced-in spot behind the house, accessed by a short, steep path—flat and sunny, ideal for a quick off-leash break. Our property is steep overall, with just a small flat area near the house and creek. There is a trail that leads to a small, flat area near the creek if your dog likes water. Just across the creek is the Rivanna Trail. The rest of the property near the creek is wild and mostly inaccessible, but the woods and hill offer plenty of space to roam. We don’t currently have pets, but occasional dog walkers pass by on the gravel road. Dogs on the Rivanna Trail across the creek can sometimes be seen or heard, but our spot feels quiet and tucked away. We hope to see you soon!

We offer a 25 yard leash you can use when your dog is swimming if you are worried about their recall in the water. We even have an agility course for some extra fun! We welcome you to sync your phone to our Bose speaker to listen to your own music or just enjoy the sounds of nature. In the springtime, it’s the perfect weather for your dogs to swim while you enjoy the view. Lots of wildlife to enjoy, you may even help us find newly hatched baby turtles during your stay!
