Our farm is located on 100 acres of beautifully scenic property and we have opened 26 acres of that space for you to explore. Our property is on predominantly flat elevation with trails, multiple fields and roughly 7 acres of forest. While the forest can be dense in spots, it is very walkable and presents a lovely spot to hike through. We have 5 ponds as well as a stream that runs the width of our property and travels through the forest. We have a myriad of wildlife that you may see or encounter during your adventures here. These could include (but are not limited to) great blue herons, muskrats, rabbits, geese, ducks, deer and coyotes. We do have livestock and a guardian dog on the property (they are fully fenced) as well as family pets so please respect their space and ensure your dogs are leashed anytime you are nearing the barn, paddock or barnyard areas.

Great place for nervous dogs because our neighbors do not have pets. Plenty of birds and squirrels. Several sitting areas. Under the porch you have protection from the rain. My husband has taken it upon himself to mow out a trail that goes along the side of our half of the property.it is not fenced in but if your pup is off lead trained feel free to let them run .we also have a part of Feild that is not mowed but for the off lead trained pups it's a great spot to let them run ! If they are not off lead trained still an amazing spot to go for a walk on a private trail with out worrying of being over crowded .our 5 pups absolutely love it out there . The pictures do no justice for this beautiful trail it's a must see

Your pets are welcome to use the tree house to run up and down from as ours do. You can fill up the kids pool for a cool down, sit and watch your pet explore and burn up some of that brain energy while sniffing every corner of our fenced in yard. The open field and trees behind us allows for wild friends to also entertain you at times. No direct neighbours have pets, so you and your fur babies can enjoy our space without stress. You are welcome to leave your pets mess that you have picked up in the bin available to you and please be sure to close the gates and ensure that it is well latched as you enter and as you leave. You are welcome to site and watch from the lower deck, from the fire pit area or while sitting in a muskoka chair on the stone patio. We just ask that the upper deck remain close and off limits to you and your pet as our own pets are most likely inside watching. We understand some dogs prefer to have to have a human friend vs a fur friend, and that is okay with us as our fur babies prefer us over fur friends as well. Please leave the space as you found it, if something get broken please pick it up and let us know so that we can be sure to check it before our pets go play outback. We are a family with 2 dogs; Charlie is an Australian Sheppard mix and Gracie is a Chocolate Lab. We have a large fully fenced in backyard with a locked gate that we would like to share with you and your dog or dogs for fun and exercise. Our neighbor also has doggy's and may or may not be outside in their yard when you arrive. This is a dog friendly neighborhood, so you may hear barking occasionally. We have a large fully fenced yard for dogs to run and burn off energy and have lots of dog toys available for them to play with. In the summer months, we have a large doggy pool readily available for your furry friend to enjoy and cool off in. We will have dog bowls with water always available for your four legged companion to drink if they get thirsty. Doggy poop bags are provided if needed to clean up after your pooch and a garbage can to drop it into before you leave. Please help to keep our yard clean for the next visitor. Our yard is also child friendly and wheelchair accessible, so feel free to bring your whole family. We have a concrete patio with lots of seating and a fire table to enjoy in the colder months. We can make your visit as private as you wish or if your dog would like to have a playmate, we can have our dogs join you in the yard. Just let us know ahead of time. Also on site is a hot tub. For an extra fee of $10, we can make it available to use while your doggy's play. Let us know ahead of your visit if you also would like to book the hot tub. Maximum time in the hot tub is 20 minutes. This allows us to time to chlorinate the hot tub afterwards to keep it clean and ready for use next time. It's a great way to relax and unwind. Please note: We do not have a change room on site to use, so you will need to bring swimwear underneath your clothing and a towel to use to dry off with. Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter. Explore a unique piece of history while enjoying the tranquility of large, private, well-appointed land, located next to an original stonework trestle constructed in the 1850s for the Erie Railroad. Your dogs will love wander along the abandoned railroad bed, trekking through the shale-bottomed stream, or relaxing while overlooking the water. While mostly shallow, the stream deepens at points for short swims. Your dog will love the rocks and sticks and playing in the water. The site is approximately 3 acres with a quarter mile marked trail. There are three large tables with plenty of stools, this spot is a great place to have a picnic while your dog plays. The wifi works well here too, well enough to live-stream.

We host a beekeeper who has about 40 hives on a well-marked and avoidable section of one trail. The bees won't be out until April but please avoid the hives anyway.
