Great spot! Fence was secure, no gaps or weak spots. The host left a garbage can, water bowl and a ball for us to use which was pretty thoughtful.

Beautiful spot! Map was easy to understand once you got going, had to turn around at one point because the marsh crossing (I believe) was too overgrown to go through. Could also have been my mapping skills at that point though! Loved the creek area where our dogs could cool off. Didn’t have time to explore the full property so I am very excited to return! Host was friendly and accommodating, bringing us out a printed map. My Boston Terrier had a blast and so did I!

We always enjoy coming here! The property is kept clean and there is a lovely new wooden bridge to help keep you dry in the areas that typically gather water. We love it!

We’ve been to this spot many times and always love it! Since our last visit they’ve finished a lovely raised walkway over a particularly wet muddy section - this was especially appreciated today, as we visited after a heavy rainfall. As always, great sniffs, quiet and isolated - this is a great spot for sensitive pups.

Host was lovely! We will definitely come back. The dogs had a great time and one of them did not want to leave after an hour and a half. The trail was well maintained and there were signs all over so it was hard to get lost.

Martin's place was great, I just wish we got to see it all. My miniature dachshund has recently recovered from back surgery so we thought giving him all the space to himself would be fun, but the terrain was just a bit to rough for him. Would recommend this place to anyone that wants a leash free and worry free time though.

This is a favourite of ours! It’s consistently an amazing walk, trails to sniff and my water weary pup found her confidence in the swampy area splashing in the mud! 😂 The trails are incredibly maintained. The host is fabulous! Always checking in and updating on anything in or around the property to ensure that ever visit is 5 stars - there is even bug spray out in case you forget! 💯 recommend! Will definitely be back!

Martin have us a nice welcome and have us information about his trails when we arrived. The trails are well kept and ready to navigate. There are areas that are more wooded and some that are more sunny. A very pleasant walk with our two dogs.

Such a lovely spot to walk! Will love this in the fall when we can explore a bit more and not worth about the heat. It’s well taken care of and all the trails are marked. The host was great as well offers you a map & bug spray. Can’t wait to come back

My two husky shepherds and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Martin’s property. The trails are well manicured and wide, the dogs loved the marsh, the forest, and the creek to swim in! They had a ball! Thank you so much Martin for generously sharing your beautiful property!

The trails are beautiful and well maintained! The host’s map and trail signage make for easy navigation. The host is very kind and friendly. My dog had a blast. Wearing bug repellent for both you and a natural version for your dog is a must (the mosquitoes and deer flies will be all over you if you don’t), however with wearing bug spray it was just fine :) thank you again, we will definitely rebook!!

This place was MAGICAL! There are so many beautiful wildflowers and a lot of shady trails. I was somewhat concerned about my two being off leash in a not totally fenced area, but there are many trails that are not close to the road and both my dogs loved staying on the groomed trails. The host was amazing and greeted my partner and I and handed us a map of the trail. He also sent me a message before hand with some tidbits about the property, such as the condition of bugs, some trails etc. I do highly recommend bug spray this time of year as well as making sure your dogs are protected too. The host commented on making a new dock to get over some of the wet parts easier, which I think will be an amazing edition to the property. I'll for sure be back with my two pups as they had an amazing time and it was a really great experience.

We had a great time at the Ancaster Trails sniffspot today! Martin was very communicative and let me know in advance what the trail / bug conditions were so we came well prepared. There are so many trails to explore, and the map is definitely useful. I was worried, from the map, about how close to the road some trails are, but the brush is very thick and we couldn’t see the cars

Trails were well marked and well maintained! While the property is closely situated to the road, the trails immediately lead you away and down into the forest. Very quiet and secluded!
