22+ acre property with 20 acres that is fully/securely fenced. The front half is an open field & orchard, the back is forested and has maintained trails throughout. There's covered seating in the field & woods, portapotty, drinking water station, toys etc - see amenities for more details. There are seasonal streams, ponds in the woods this time of year, plus extra puddles & mud during/after moderate-heavy rain. Foot bridges and woodchips keep the main trails in decent shape for walking but there are plenty of muddy areas to explore so expect a wet, dirty dog - waterproof traction boots (muckboots etc) recommended. There's a dog rinse station (elevated, tethers, sidewalls) for faster cleaning that's easy on the back and keeps clothing drier; bring your own towels. Reservations are available up to 30 days in advance. Some days fill fast but plans can change & bookings get modified/canceled (2+hrs beforehand) - check back for an opening if interested. Thank you for being considerate of our space by reading and abiding by SS and spot specific rules and asking all who accompany you to do the same. First time visitors get an auto-message 2hrs beforehand with helpful info.

This is 40 undeveloped, private wooded acres less than 15 minutes from Bellingham and 10 minutes from Mount Baker Highway. There is a long unpaved road to wander on as you adventure deeper into the property. Trails to come, until then, explore as you wish. Enjoy nature’s agility course by wandering at your will. For Pack (more than 3) Pricing, message us for a bigger discount. In the wet season, there is mud at a few low spots on the back trail. Please consider wearing boots for now.

Coming here will feel like you are in the country with the beauty of the mountains, a field to run in and a trail to hike in. *Please note that the acreage is a total of 86 acres including the crop areas. There is very little time that the crop area is restricted. When the pumpkins are grown, it is fun to walk up the rows and we welcome the pups to be in there, take photos etc. If you visit during planting, we ask the dogs stay out of that area as that can damage the crop. There is lots of space to run and walk/hike. The perimeter trail is approximately 3.5km. There is short grass, tall grass the dogs can go in and out all over the field in the front and middle of the property. As well as up the hill trail.

We had so much fun here. The host Grace was so sweet and met us outside to make sure we knew exactly where to go. The space was very clean and so much fun for two dogs visiting from Los Angeles. There were some doggy and human treats on my car when we left which was the nicest touch. We will likely be back before we head back south!!

Grace is so friendly and kind. She met us outside (with a mask on) and told us about the property. She even wrote our names on a sign attached to the gate (so cute). If you are looking for a fun outing with your dog, this is it! Our new favorite Sniffspot! Thanks Grace!

This sniff spot was great! If it weren't so far from Seattle (about an hour for us) we would be out there multiple times a week. As it is, we plan on it being a new special weekend place for us to visit. When we arrived we met Grace outside who showed us where things were. She is super nice! She had a sign out there with our name on it and everything. Our dog Juniper had a wonderful time running around and exploring, and it was a great opportunity for us to practice recall with her. When we left we notice that Grace had left a little goody bag for us and Juniper on our car. If we could give this place 6 out of 5 stars we would.

This Sniff Spot is well worth the drive. There was a ton of space for dogs to run around and lots of different things for them to see/smell including streams, river, forest area, hikes to run up, etc. The host was very welcoming and even gave us a dog treat at the end. We stayed for 1.5 hours and could have stayed for 1.5 more. We will definitely be returning here in the future

It was amazing! What a cool spot to let your dog run. My dog is a new rescue and this was her 1st time off leash in a large area and I felt pretty confident that she was safely secured if she happened to take off shes about 20lbs. The only spot she could have escaped was under the entrance gate but it leads to another fenced area I just kept her on leash until we went up the big hill they soon forget about the gate. The area gets pretty muddy but not that bad at all, glad I had boots on and towels for afterwards though. I just wish I lived closer I'd visit every weekend, this place is so worth the drive!

Really great spot if your pup loves to sniff, run and splash around like mine does! Grace was so sweet and accommodating. She met us at our car to show us the gate access. She followed all COVID precautions which I appreciated! The trails were easy to navigate through and well maintained. We can’t wait to go back!

Our host met us when we arrived (masked and socially distanced) and showed us where to go. There was a cute sign welcoming us with our names on it. This place is AMAZING! So much room to run and explore, our dogs absolutely loved it!! We will for sure be back! Our 3 dogs had a blast again on their second trip here. The property is large and charming with a lot of different spaces — feels like we’re hiking off leash on our own and plenty of room for sniffing, exploring, chasing, and fetch — and Grace as always is so pleasant, gracious, and accommodating while giving our reactive dog his space — always adding nice touches to our trip. The Mini Forest spot is lovely and interesting. Grace, the property owner, is very kind and helpful and provides poop bags if you don't have any and a garbage can, etc. This spot is a little small for me as I like to walk for a couple of hours but it is beautiful and my dog and I did several circuits of the property, walked up some good hills, and he had a wonderful time.

Oh. My. Gosh. This is THEEEE most incredible find. Grace is the sweetest human ever (even as my hounds were barking and screaming at her from the car). Her property is absolutely stunning. Couldn't believe this was actually completely fenced in. The dogs ran for about 1.5hrs until one chased a heron into the marsh and submerged himself and decided he was ready to go home at that point. It was just spectacular, I felt like we truly were hiking out in the woods all by ourselves without having to worry about another hiker sneaking around the corner. The dogs ran and ran and are now passed out at home. We cannot wait to book our next trip to this incredible gem of a spot. Thank you for sharing your space, Grace. We loved it.

This place is heaven! Rogue had so much fun on his birthday adventure. Running, sniffing, playing ball and swimming. He is worn out! It’s an hour drive from West Seattle. Book for two hours and bring a lunch. So worth it.

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
