Hidden River Farm is a 40 plus acre paradise for humans and dogs. We opened our organic orchard 6 years ago and it operates annually from June to October. So we have decided to try to open it up for use year around if possible. We welcome folks to bring their dogs out to run, retrieve, train or just play for awhile to get the energy out. There is an abundance of land. We offer a picnic area with table and chairs. Both tables offer umbrellas for shade if needed. We have water spigots so that the dogs can have clean drinking water. We also are breeders of Champion Labrador Retrievers. We have chickens, ducks, donkeys, horse and more. We are a working farm that believes sharing is a great thing these days.

We have 3.3 wooded acres set back from the cul de sac and we back up to Duke Progress public game land. Previous owners created a trail out there that connects to a power line cut and 4x4 trails. You can hike for miles if you want and probably won’t see another person. We have a doggy paradise on our 3+ acres.

We have 1/4 acre play yard that provides plenty of shade for our guests from the large oak tree on property. Human guests are welcome to use the outdoor chairs on the deck that overlooks play area for dogs. Deck has gates so smaller dogs can have their own secure area if needed. Muddy paws? No thanks! Our property has beautifully landscaped with turf, which is low maintenance for easy cleanup. We provide water bowls, a hose (for quick clean up if needed), and a doggy trash can. The Fire pit can be used but guests need to provider their own wood and kindling. We hope you enjoy our special retreat in the city!

My spot is a large grassy area fully fenced with a 5 foot chain link fence and a 6 foot privacy fence. This yard is 100% separate from my personal back yard and truly gives you the private dog park feel! You don’t even have to go behind my house to gain access. If you have a dog(s) who would love a large open area to play fetch and have the zoomies this is the perfect play spot. •We have a picnic table for seating and umbrella for use. •A water hose and kiddie pool for dogs to cool off and play in (pool in summer months) •Provided a large Stainless Steel water bowl •Black outdoor box stocked with dog toys, treats and other items for use. •Poop bags •This yard can be lit up with a spot light when daylight savings ends and it gets darker earlier. Plus a street light directly in front of my house. My neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. You may see people walking the neighborhood with other dogs or children from my yard.
