Here at Cedar Dale Pet Resort we have been caring for your four-legged family members since 1981 and now we are offering you a whole new experience- the opportunity to enjoy our recently remodeled Private Puppy Playground! Fun is sure to ensue in a fully fenced natural grass play yard filled with numerous obstacles and various play equipment for the ultimate enriching experience! Zoom through tires, climb on spools, and run down slides. Lay in the grass under the shade of a tree or dig in the sand. Seating for the human family, waste scoop & receptacle are provided. Complimentary wade-pool and towels will be made available upon request. Currently hours of availability for our Private Puppy Playground are generally when our guests are napping or inside the resort eating so no need to be worried about other dogs interfering with your pup’s outing. During the summer months when the weather is nice and our guest volume is high, we may have dogs outside in the other yards midday, but we will not utilize the yard next to the Private Puppy Playground during Sniffspot reservations. Other daytime hours may be available upon request, but we ask that you contact the resort directly for scheduling those times. Additional services including daycare play groups, overnight boarding, nail trims, bathing, and full grooming services, as well as professional training are also available.

This back yard is fully fenced with driveway guest parking. There is a mix of both sun and shade, and a hose for water. The grass is treated for bugs in the spring and kept short through the summer. No people or dog distractions at my property, so the place is all yours to wander. I absolutely love making this space comfortable for dogs & owners to stretch their legs in peace. Conveniently located near Rand road and shopping areas, and a few minutes’ drive to downtown Arlington Heights. We have ample off street parking and offer a park-like space. About half of our 3/4 acres is fully fenced in. Hose and electric outlets are outside the fenced area but can easily reach across the fence. We have a designated toilet area for our dog, separate from the fenced area that you would be welcome to use if desired.

Area is unfenced- Front area home to chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, and horses. Poultry is free range so dogs must be chicken friendly or off leash trained to “leave it”. Recommend using e collars if still working on off-leash obedience. Dogs and owners welcome to use swim platform, pedal boat, and to take a swim.

A few things to note about the space. We do have a neighbor dog on one side of the yard, on the other two sides, there may be a deer or three. If you decide to come at dusk, we have a mama raccoon with 3 babies. Please park at the spot closest to the street. Make sure your dog is leashed until inside the yard. Please throw out garbage in the big garbage can outside the gate. There are some balls under the porch and plenty of sticks if your doggie likes to play.

Come and let your dog explore, play, and swim on our beautiful family farm. Our farm means the world to us and we think you will love it just as much. Our farm lies on 16 acres in Bull Valley, Illinois. Although it is not fenced in, our property is doggy heaven for dogs trained to be off-leash. Come take a walk, bring a frisbee/ball, or just come let your dog sniff and explore. Please do not go into the land beyond the caution tape and signs. That is not part of our sniff spot. We have many farm animals on our property as well. Please be respectful of our property. We take pride in our farm and love sharing it, but we want to keep it beautiful. Entry in any of the barns/buildings is prohibited. Please remain in the back of our property. We do live on the property and appreciate our privacy. FYI, this is a working farm. Sometimes as you are pulling in, there might be cars/people in the barns and lot. Please keep that in mind as you are arriving and if your dog is reactive, bring a leash until you can get into the back field.

Creek area extends from the southern road to the northern property fence line. Please look at Google maps/satellite for a better reference (our property is a large square that boarders 2 roads).

Lazy Bones Acres offers 5 acres of wooded hiking trails for you and your furry companion to enjoy. Pack a lunch to enjoy on one of our picnic tables along the way or simply take in the peacefulness of the forest and wildlife. Listen to the squirrels chase each other in the tree tops, the woodpeckers pecking away in a nearby tree, or the geese honking at a nearby pond. Wildlife that are commonly seen on visits include deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, chipmunks, a beautiful array of wild birds, and much more. *Our terrain is uneven as it goes through woods. If you have trouble with balance or walking, please reconsider your visit to our property for your safety. Trails are kept clear, but raspberry and blackberry bushes present thorns, please use caution with these prickers. ** Our spot is fully fenced, however if your dog is not command trained we do not recommend letting them off leash. Our large, private yard features ample grass as well as a concrete patio to help keep your dog’s nails filed! Our yellow lab’s favorite spot is in the back, by the wheelbarrow and some logs. That’s where he does his best “sniffing”! Please feel free to have a seat at our glass-top picnic table and use the umbrella to block any sun. If you’d like to sit on one of our comfy swivel chairs, we just ask that you re-cover it when done. The cushions are super thick and we want to keep them nice for our guests! We have tennis balls and other toys and please feel free to use the sprinkler if your dog enjoys it!

Fully fenced yard built for entertaining. Trees have all been removed to allow for a large open grass area for zoomies. Also concrete patios and plenty of seating options including a hammock. Dog pool available upon request and if your pup needs socialization our rescue is used by our current trainer as a training dog and is very well behaved. Great property to walk with large and small dogs. The entire back lot is fully fenced and plenty of running space for frisbee or ball. Disposable water bowls can be found in our welcome bin. A hose will be available in summer and a water jug in winter. A small patch of uncut brush in the back is great for jumping sniffing and tracking the high branches are cleared for humans to also walk through:) located near wetlands some of the fencing extends through overgrowth or wetland and brush/scrub tree areas it can be damp in wet weather times. The ENTIRE BACK lot is fully secure, originally built to contain our dachshunds and our late Great Dane. Because we own several small dogs (and also a large dog) ourselves it is checked regularly for any holes, or wear. (If you see any holes please let us know ASAP) Our dogs will be kenneled when you visit! Extra notes: *We live near a gun range and during hunting seasons and summer primarily range noise can be heard in the distance. Weekdays are quieter in general for all noises :) * Please note in spring/ fall thaw and heavy rain parts of our yard so stay soggy and even wet for some time -appropriate footwear should be considered (rubber boots are ideal)-we have towels for dogs in our welcome bin. Canine Respiratory Illness! Here’s what we are doing! -disposable one-visit bowls are to be found in our bin, please use them for your dogs and then dispose of them before you go or take them home. -we will continue to disinfect the toys provided at least once a day with our dog-safe disinfectant Effer-San. -We ask that you place used toys in the used toy bin after use. - in the summer the patio and grass near the house will be sprayed with our dog-safe disinfectant Wishy-Wash once a day. -We do this for our dogs as well as for yours

(Full dog washing station coming early Summer 2024!) - The kiddie pool will be out on hot days for your dog to cool off in! Swing set available for kids to use, at your own risk and under your supervision, while their pet runs around, however; the trampoline is strictly off-limits. Check out our extras that you may add, including premium dog treats from Mountain Dog Cookie Co, a kiddie pool for your dog in the summer months, additional unfenced space for your dog to explore their primal instincts (perfect for sporting dogs!), and even some human treats! Canine Respiratory Illness, what are we doing about it? We've taken a few extra precautions to keep our dogs & visitors safe. In our welcome basket, you'll find disposable bowls that you may use the hose next to the back door to fill up for your pup! Please dispose of your bowl in the garbage can next to the welcome basket. Additionally, toys in the basket will also be wiped down at least once per day with a pet-safe disinfectant. **The host is not responsible for any harm caused to you, your children, or your pets while using the swing set.**

This fully fenced in 0.25 acre yard is attached to our Dog Training studio in Hoffman Estates. It is available for use when we're closed. It is only available after 6:30pm Mon-Fri, and is available all day on Saturdays and Sundays. You and your dog(s) will be the only ones on property during your reservation. The yard is well lit for night trips!

A private acre property with years of love tended to it. One 1/2 acre fully fenced adjacent to home with access to back 1/2 acre that’s all open space. Plenty of space for large and small dogs alike to run, explore, play, train and enjoy the variety of places to Sniff. There is a lot to smell and hunt for (nature and critter scents) Ample space and fence is secure. Our dogs are small so we ensured no gaps or lifting and check regularly. Behind the shrub line by house is the same; securely fenced. The Unfenced Back half part of our property continues all the way to the south tree line. There are apple trees where deer feed, sand hill crane family visits and other wildlife pop up at times, so good sniffing there. At the tree line there is a pathway to a field and the school’s baseball diamonds. That become public property fun for the dogs to explore, especially on long leads, and commonly used. Dogs must be on leash anytime outside of the fenced area. The Oak Creek Parkway trails are also close by for longer walks. As a Thank you for choosing to visit Magnus & Peppers Sanctuary 🐾 there is a table on the deck with toys, treats for pups and humans, bottled water and more for your use. There is also a refilling dog water bowl cleaned between uses. Yard is regularly walked and guests have been wonderfully respectful of not leaving pup presents 💩 behind 😊 We do our best to accommodate all requests, even ones not listed.
