We are based out of Lebanon Pennsylvania, but have fosters and adopters throughout the United States

PLPR is a Pomeranian and small breed dog rescue based out of Lebanon, PA.¬† Our board is comprised of seasoned rescuers who all have the goal of saving dogs and providing them with the best care possible. ¬† We save the abused, neglected, and abandoned from shelters, puppy mills, and owners¬†who can no longer keep their pets. Our rescue is not a shelter and all our dogs are kept¬†in foster homes where they are treated like family until their forever home is found.¬†¬†PLPR provides all vet care our dogs need. This includes a vet exam, fecal, Accuplex,¬†core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distempter, and Bordatella), microchip, bloodwork and x-rays if needed, spay or neuter, and dental. We also ensure that our dogs receive the best¬†care possible which sometimes includes specialist visits and costly diagnostics or¬†surgeries. PLPR relies on the support of our community and followers to provide the care our dogs¬†need to be healthy and live their best life.

Peace Love and Poms Rescue is dedicated to saving¬† Pomeranians and other small breed dogs¬†from abuse, neglect, and abandonment.¬†¬† Our rescue is a safe haven for any¬†small dog in need. We envision a world where every dog has a safe and loving home.¬†¬†Our amazing and dedicated volunteers provide nurturing¬†and safe environments for all PLPR dogs.¬† We are committed to educating pet owners and advocating¬†that communities respect all animals.¬† PLPR encourages the importance¬†of proper physical and emotional care, proper veterinary care,¬†and spaying and neutering of animals.¬† PLPR is proud to base¬†our organization on empathy, integrity, and devotion.¬†¬†Peace Love and Poms Rescue is a foster-based rescue where they¬†are treated like family until a forever home is found.

Adoption Policy

We require each potential adopter to fill out an adoption application, provide references, and allow a home visit. Each dog at Peace Love and Poms Rescue has different needs and has different requirements of their ideal home. ¬†In general, we do not require a fenced-in yard, however, we do have a few specific dogs who do require a fenced-in yard. If you do not own your home, we require a letter from your landlord stating that they will allow you to have a dog of the breed and size you are seeking.¬†¬†If there are other dogs in the home, Peace Love and Poms Rescue requires those dogs to be spayed or neutered, up to date on core vaccines, receive yearly exams, yearly fecal testing, heart worm testing and year round preventatives, unless there is a documented medical reason.¬†We are adamant about vaccinations, regular veterinary care, socialization, and spaying/neutering as basic requirements for reducing the number of abandoned and euthanized pets.¬†We do not adopt to homes where invisible/underground fences will be the only method of restraint for dogs.

While the idea of Sniffspot was initially conceived by his wife, Rebecca, David has been the driving force behind its remarkable success, tirelessly overseeing its growth and development. David's dedication to providing safe and enjoyable spaces for dogs to play, explore, and socialize is evident in his unwavering commitment to Sniffspot. He strongly believes that dogs need ample space and opportunities to stretch their legs and have fun. As a result, he has worked tirelessly to build a network of private property owners across the country who share his vision and are willing to offer their space for the benefit of dogs and their owners. Despite his busy schedule, David always finds time to indulge in his passion for the great outdoors. He loves nothing more than exploring new hiking trails and embarking on thrilling outdoor adventures. Whenever he is not working on Sniffspot, he can often be found hiking or visiting multi-acre fenced sniffspots with his two beloved dogs, Soba and Toshii. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys the fresh air, breathtaking scenery, and the sense of freedom that comes with being in nature. David is based in Salem, MA.
