55Really terrific spot. Easy to get to. Stacy‘s place has all a dog (and their human) could ask for. You enter through the side gate that takes you to a rustic stone step way down to the main yard. There you find a delightful landscaped pool with waterfall. The rest of the yard has an outdoor kitchen area, fire pit area and artificial turf grass area. Lots of spaces and places for your furry friend to sniff, play ball and even take a dip in the pool. Stacy is a very friendly host. Really loved this spot. Cory B.

55Stacy’s yard and pool were a lovely spot to tire out our dogs - Coco and Poppy. They loved running around within the well fenced area. There were a couple of chairs for us to sit and relax too. Arpita B.

55Such a great backyard!! Stacy provided everything my pup and I needed for a fun, comfortable visit. We’d been looking for a spot with a pool too, and this one did not disappoint!! Fair warning though, that water was chilly. I’m sure it warms up a bit on a hotter day (it was only 75 today). Overall, a fantastic place!Lizzy L.

55The boys had the time of their lives! We do not have a yard and Sniffspots is really the only way for them to run freely in a safe and contained environment. Stacy’s yard is beautiful and the boys had a chance to get comfortable going in and out of the pool and running allover. We also love the extra security of having another gate to walk through before entering and exiting. We would love to return! Cassie N.

55Great flat evenly cut grass for rolling balls practicing treiball, or herding. I used the tunnel as a barrier so when my insanely focsed Mcnab was flipping his 10nindestructabke it didn’t actually do any prop or bushes or gate damagehm. Host was willing to discuss some of my irrrveleent other questions. I’ll be returning since Danville is closer to my address.!

55This was a great spot. Lots of room for a large dog to run around. The grass area was very large, green and perfectly manicured. And having agility equipment to use was a huge plus. 55Beautiful, quiet spot that was great for some training as well as sniffing! It was a little rainy and the host reached out in advance warning us it might be muddy but overall it wasn’t too bad. Would definitely come back again! Rachel B.

55Absolutely amazing spot; my girl is never able to truly stretch her legs out and run to her hearts content and she did that here. She was so happy and the yard was very well kept. There was also very secure fencing, which I was concerned about for my smaller dog.Yesenia J.

55First time and it was awesome for Harper to stretch her legs and get some time away from the shelter: This truly wonderful girl is up for adoption at Berkeley Humane.
Such a nice big space, not too far - and the weather was perfect. Ellen J.

FAQ about our Alamo dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Alamo area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 153 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 23 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
