Multiple Doggie Poop Depots with poop bag dispensers so for your convenience, no need to carry that around while you explore the 15 acres. ( Fair Warning.. very low tolerance for a guest who does not pick up after their pup) Two wooded trails areas that we have just begun to develop for the wild side areas to explore. A Large professional Obstacle Course with most of the obstacles course pieces seen on U-Tube. There are bunnies, cats and squirrels on the property so we ask that you please restrain your dog for the first 30 seconds or so when entering the property to give those animals a chance to react to the presence of a new animal. Allowing your dog to chase cats or wander up onto the house's porch are not allowed. We appreciate your business and love your dogs, just encourage them to avoid the porch and gardens please. We will provide you and your best friend ( friends) with two acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage, roam amongst the trees, dig, or just take in all the smells. Our visitors tell us It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or practice on some of the agility equipment . Our space is very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of texture. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property, which is my backyard. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, you will most likely hear my pups if they are outside. We have placed a privacy material along the fencing so that the dogs will not be able to have any contact, but they will see shadows through the material. My pups may bark and run up and down the fence line as you play in the forest if they hear you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will hear them. If you have aggressive or reactive dogs, PLEASE give me a heads up. The outdoor space is available during daylight hours. Indoor space is available as an add-on and recommended for evening visits or during inclement weather. First-time guest? The pastures are cross-fenced, allowing for room to explore but not too far. An indoor riding arena is available as an add-on. It is enclosed on three sides, keeping the wind and weather out during playtime. It is well-lit for evening use. Horses offer additional entertainment but are always a safe distance with a large space (enough to drive a large truck through) between fence lines. The animals are not reactive to the dogs even when barking at them. The farm animals don't respond to the dogs, so often the dogs move on to exploring the space. We have some simple agility items in the space along with balls and other toys to help entertain both you and your dogs. As a guest, you have access to: * Fully Fenced Acre of play space for off-leash adventures * Water - Lift the green handle to start the flow of water * Poop baggies * White garbage can * Dog towels, clean ones in the clear container, and dirty ones go into the grey tote. We ask you to use 1 towel per visit if possible. * Porta Potty * Shelter with chairs and a small table you can put anywhere in the field during your visit we just ask that you put them back when you are done. * During the summer days we include a doggie pool. They are blue kiddie pools. Double them up when you use them so they are easier to empty and less likely to break. Please dump the pool and return it to the corner when you are finished. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: This is a field that has uneven ground including mole and gopher holes. Please watch your step. Please keep within the Sniffspot area. If you happen to throw a ball over a fence just message me and I can retrieve it for you. It is important to stay outside of areas marked private property. Those gates also have extra locks, but we want to be sure everyone stays safe. USE OF INDOOR ARENA: During harsh weather (over 95 degrees or winter would be those days of wind and heavy rain) the indoor arena may be an option. YOU MUST MESSAGE me before the visit to ask for us so we can make that ready for you if it is available. That space is in an area marked private property. You will see a white address sign “Windenfir” You will then see a sign “Windenfir Training Field.” Parking avail in front of gate, near the exit, or in front of garage (just not blocking garage door). Agility course, tennis balls, fresh water, and poo buckets available. Hose is on if not freezing temps. After going though Windenfir training field gate you will see the back gate with a sign “Windenfir Dog Pasture." Great place to explore and let them sniff. Looking to the right when out in the pasture, the neighbors Goldens occasionally bark. Two fences between properties on this side. Owner usually calls them when barking. The pasture has goat droppings so no surprises. This is a farm :) Chickens and goats in separate area and visible to dogs (see photos). Don’t be surprised if they come up to the fence to see what’s going on. The animals have been raised around dogs and are not bothered by them. They would come out if they could. Very nice field fencing in pasture. Chain link/field fencing in training field. As of now the training field and pasture are muddy and slick in areas. Agility equipment can be slick also due to rain. Check pasture area if deciding to throw a ball/stick/small child :). Hard packed in areas and not level in some. Playhouse is open for photos and kids. Brentwood Park OLA Rules of Use • Dogs must demonstrate appropriate social interaction. • Dogs displaying aggressive behavior toward people or other dogs must be leashed and removed from the OLA immediately. • Owners and handlers must accept responsibility for any damage or injury caused by their dog. • Dogs must display tags showing proof of current license and rabies vaccination. • Bring no more than three dogs to the OLA at any time. • Owners and handlers must remain in the OLA to supervise pets, and keep them within view and under verbal control at all times. • To prevent injury, remove pinch or choke collars when playing off-leash. • For health and safety reasons, do not bring a dog in heat to a Portland park. • For health and safety reasons, do not bring a puppy without a complete cycle of vaccinations to a Portland park. • Children must be closely supervised. • Be considerate of park neighbors by playing quietly with dogs in the early morning and evening hours. • Comply with all other park rules.

There is a kiddy pool available for splashing (seasonally)and a tunnel, weave poles, teeter totter, shute, tunnels and some other toys available. If you are lucky you could see deer elk or even an eagle or the cow's next door. There are chairs to sit in out in the back pasture in the shade. Lots of toys and open space to run and sniff. As a working hobby farm we are constantly working on the property, but we will always be respectful and give you privacy. This place is lovely - great, fully fenced, with a covered area with chairs to sit and relax. My dogs had so much fun playing with the toys (thank you! A nice touch) and they loved the little agility area set up in one spot. Cattle and horses can be seen but my German Shepherd, normally a pretty reactive girl, didn't have any issue. For fall, the hosts set up a little hay maze that was a super thoughtful touch. There’s some agility equipment, a toy box, and a covered space to sit down for a break. The two giant trees on the other end of the pasture provide ample shade. The grass is always well maintained which tends to be an issue with other sniff spots. We love coming back here!

My 1 year old doberman has A LOT of energy and we recently moved to a house with a smaller yard. This was exactly what he needed and we will definitely be back! The land was extremely clean, the watering station / seating area / toy bin were all a bonus! I got to chat with the owner of the property and he was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcomed. This will be at least a once a week stop for me and my boy. :)

This was our first time visiting White Oak Country Farms, but we will definitely be back! It's my new favorite spot. Huge open area for the dogs to run with no places they can get out of sight (and get into trouble or leave a poo unseen). Our dogs had a great time playing and chasing a frisbee and chuck-it balls and chasing each other. Nice sitting area that I thought I would use, but just kept busy with the dogs instead. Really nice spot for bird watching too! It's the most relaxed I've been at any Sniff Spot so far, knowing I could keep eyes on them at all times, and we all left happy. Looking forward to coming again!

Our dogs just love this place. Huge area to run, so many interesting places to sniff and explore, and this time the host had some new toys in the toy box! They always have plenty of balls and frisbees, but fun to see a few new items, including smaller frisbees that are perfect for our 22 lb. pup. It's a bit of a drive from where we live, but worth it for all the enjoyment our dogs get. Our bigger dog loves the long open space to chase down the chuck-it balls. It's really a great place for birders too. Today a flock of bluebirds came and perched on the fence! So beautiful. This is now firmly our favorite Sniff Spot.
