We have 128 acres of woods pasture and active farm land available for you to explore with your dog ! If your interested in a off leash experience without worry we have a 2 acre spot for your four legged love to enjoy without the fear of a failed recall. We just ask you stay out of the cows pasture, barn , chicken coops and do not open any gates despite what the cows might tell you ;) Our beautiful working farm is a natural environment shared by abundant wildlife deer, herons, and wild turkeys who roam the property and potentially could access the fenced area. When our Sniffspot guests are not visiting the fenced area is home to our flock of sheep. They happily do the “mowing” for us so you may notice some spots where the field isn’t perfectly “mowed” or gifts they have left behind! With this please be mindful not to leave anything behind that may attract in wildlife or potentially harm our sheep! We thank you and look forward to your visit !

Large backyard of a private home on a quiet street. Entirely fenced in, with minimal visibility to neighbors (you may hear them outside though). Yard includes playset with swings and slide, perfect for kiddos, as well as deck where you can sit and relax while your dog burns off some energy! Comfy hammock, chairs with cushions and guest wifi and outlet available. Off-street parking available in driveway.

An open, fully fenced backyard where your dog(s) can run around and sniff the wildlife. We have a baby pool, a patio, and a pergola where you can relax while they explore.

There is a gravel road to take you back to the sniffspot. Please park along the fence line of the field in the grass- do NOT park on the gravel road! *If you have never taken agility classes or competed in agility before, please consider setting up a private lesson to ensure safety for you and your dog! Info can be found in the last picture in the listing. Puppies under a year should not be jumping too high or too repeatedly, and the larger pieces of equipment are dangerous for a dog to dismount improperly. And please, no humans on the equipment!* If you move or change the heights of any jumps, please put them back how you found them before you leave! Do not move the larger pieces of equipment (weave poles, dogwalk, a-frame, or teeter). AKC Regulation a-frame, teeter, dogwalk, and jumps from Max200. MAD Agility channel weaves. Saloon door style tire and tunnels from Clean Run. Please potty your dogs outside of the agility field! Keep your dogs leashed for safety as it is not fully fenced outside of the agility field and keep your eyes peeled for poison ivy! Please stay out of the neighbor’s property and out of the fenced in yard close to the house. It is low tech back there. There is no electricity or running water. Gates are secured with bungees for now until permanent posts & latches are installed. Please bring water, bug spray, sunscreen, proper footwear, etc. I do my best to keep the field as manicured as possible, but it is the out of doors so nothing is ever perfect! The pine trees provide lovely shade, but they do also provide pinecones and twigs. Give the space a once over to ensure there is nothing pokey on you or your dog’s path! Be nice to the neighbors! And have fun!

The agility yard is a great way to give your pet physical and mental enrichment while strengthening the bond between you. Safety is paramount, so you’ll find our Agility Yard enclosed by a four-foot fence. However, if your dog happens to be an enthusiastic jumper, we recommend visiting the Athens Bunker Hill Dog Park, offering an open and adequately fenced space to accommodate their energy. While enjoying the Agility Yard, please note that there’s a road nearby. For your pet’s safety and the safety of others, keep your pet leashed when entering and exiting the yard. The road sees regular foot traffic, with people walking, dog-walking, and cycling. Passersby may pause to admire your training efforts. Respect for the environment is crucial—remember to CLEAN UP after your pet. Doggie bags are conveniently available on the fence, and you can dispose of waste in our designated garbage receptacle. If your pet happens to dig, please fill in any holes they create. To ensure everyone’s safety, please refrain from using any of the equipment; it’s exclusively for animals. We also emphasize the importance of gentle training methods—excessive force will not be tolerated. Most pets are eager learners, so patience is key. If you’re interested in learning effective training techniques, feel free to reach out for a quick lesson based on my experience with my own dogs. Our large, fenced backyard is a paradise for dogs, offering ample space for running and playing. Located in a quiet neighborhood off Rt 9 in Latham, with plenty of easy street parking. The lush green grass is perfect for rolling around, while providing lots of sunshine! A variety of dog-friendly features, including double sided water bowls, free waste bags, free dog treats, dog toys to use while you’re here, and a pooper scooper to ensure that pets stay entertained and active. There is a comfy outdoor sofa for lounging. The secure fencing ensures safety, giving both pets and owners peace of mind. This outdoor haven is a delightful retreat for any canine and their human companions.

April 2025 Spring cleanup has started and it’s looking good! Acorns, sticks & leaves have been cleared and the sunshine will bring green grass! Our landscaper will be by in the coming weeks with some fresh topsoil to fill in holes, level out the exposed roots around the tree near the gazebo and seed those areas. Thank you for your patience as we will have those small areas fenced off, so the seat has a chance to grow. There is still plenty of room to run distances! Safety is our top priority for you and your pet, so please message us through the app immediately if you notice anything that seems unsafe. We are out there daily surveying the areas. Hi Everyone, my name is Wendy ! A great big WELCOME to my sniffspot, so happy to have you here! Please come over and enjoy time with your special pets in my fully fenced, spacious, well kept, quiet and safe backyard. When you book it is just you and your pups, no distractions! (Use the Skip button top right corner if you don’t want to purchase a pass) Relax on the deck while pup sniffs until hearts content. Lots of toys to play with and extra towels, wipes, bubbles and doggie poop bags available just in case. Hose is off for the season so please bring water for your pups. There is a dog dish here if needed. Don’t forget to bring along some treats to try out the tip-a-treat game!! Also a great place to hold a party for your pup or a puppie play date!
