We have 128 acres of woods pasture and active farm land available for you to explore with your dog ! If your interested in a off leash experience without worry we have a 2 acre spot for your four legged love to enjoy without the fear of a failed recall. We just ask you stay out of the cows pasture, barn , chicken coops and do not open any gates despite what the cows might tell you ;) Our beautiful working farm is a natural environment shared by abundant wildlife deer, herons, and wild turkeys who roam the property and potentially could access the fenced area. When our Sniffspot guests are not visiting the fenced area is home to our flock of sheep. They happily do the “mowing” for us so you may notice some spots where the field isn’t perfectly “mowed” or gifts they have left behind! With this please be mindful not to leave anything behind that may attract in wildlife or potentially harm our sheep! We thank you and look forward to your visit !

To access the agility field: Please follow the driveway straight back past the detached garage. There is a gravel road to take you back to the sniffspot. Please park along the fence line of the field in the grass- do NOT park on the gravel road! *If you have never taken agility classes or competed in agility before, please message me and we can set up a time for a private lesson to ensure the safety of you and your dog! Puppies under a year should not be jumping too high or too repeatedly, and the larger pieces of equipment are dangerous for a dog to dismount improperly. And please, no humans on the equipment!* If you move or change the heights of any jumps, please put them back how you found them before you leave! Do not move any of the larger pieces of equipment (weave poles, dogwalk, a-frame, or teeter). AKC Regulation a-frame, teeter, dogwalk, and jumps from Max200. MAD Agility channel weaves. Saloon door style tire and tunnels from Clean Run. Please potty your dogs outside of the agility field! Keep your dogs leashed for safety as it is not fully fenced outside of the agility field and keep your eyes peeled for poison ivy! Please stay out of the neighbor’s property and out of the fenced in yard close to the house. It is low tech back there. There is no electricity or running water. Gates are secured with bungees for now until permanent posts & latches are installed. Please bring water, bug spray, sunscreen, proper footwear, etc. I do my best to keep the field as manicured as possible, but it is the out of doors so nothing is ever perfect! The pine trees provide lovely shade, but they do also provide pinecones and twigs. Give the space a once over to ensure there is nothing pokey on you or your dog’s path! Be nice to the neighbors! And have fun!

The agility yard is a great way to give your pet physical and mental enrichment while strengthening the bond between you. Safety is paramount, so you’ll find our Agility Yard enclosed by a four-foot fence. However, if your dog happens to be an enthusiastic jumper, we recommend visiting the Athens Bunker Hill Dog Park, offering an open and adequately fenced space to accommodate their energy. While enjoying the Agility Yard, please note that there’s a road nearby. For your pet’s safety and the safety of others, keep your pet leashed when entering and exiting the yard. The road sees regular foot traffic, with people walking, dog-walking, and cycling. Passersby may pause to admire your training efforts. Respect for the environment is crucial—remember to CLEAN UP after your pet. Doggie bags are conveniently available on the fence, and you can dispose of waste in our designated garbage receptacle. If your pet happens to dig, please fill in any holes they create. To ensure everyone’s safety, please refrain from using any of the equipment; it’s exclusively for animals. We also emphasize the importance of gentle training methods—excessive force will not be tolerated. Most pets are eager learners, so patience is key. If you’re interested in learning effective training techniques, feel free to reach out for a quick lesson based on my experience with my own dogs. I have a beautiful fenced in yard. It's a dog's paradise with lots of shade. I have a vinyl fence which dogs can see through the pickets on two sides facing front yard and side street, I rescued a dog from Homeward Bound 12 years ago and they had to come to my house to see the yard and inspect me home. Needless to say, I called him Onyx.

Nice corner yard, fenced in with a 4' fence. Chairs for sitting, there is a firepit, there are dog balls, theres even a retired kids sandbox thats never used that can be dug up. On nicer evenings, there's runners from RPI and Troy High, which can be invigorating and exciting and should be taken into account for your pet, especially if they can leap over fences.

Come spend quality time with you and your dog(s) that is fully fenced. Little dog approved (I have a 17lb, 13.75" tall small dog who liked to escape but can't anymore! I also have a 30lb beagle mix. We have several amenities for humans and dogs! The best amenity is the sectioned off agility yard! You may rent this portion of the yard as an extra. The agility portion of the yard is sectioned off is 90’x90’, includes all the all rubberized max200 contacts (dog walk, a frame, teeter), max200 channel 12 poles, two tunnels, table (rubberized Max200), tire (max200) and lots of various jumps!! I also have 2x2s available! Practice whatever you need to get your next QQ! The remainder of the yard is for free play including a kiddie pool, shade in the afternoons, dog toys and plenty of grass to sniff and run! Play yard gets good shade in the afternoons and evenings. Welcome to A+J’s private dog park! When you book a visit, you and your dog(s) are the only ones in the space. Playdates are welcome. Our Sniffspot is our fully fenced, backyard attached to the house, with a private entrance from the driveway. All breeds are welcome. Reactive dogs are welcome. This centrally located spot in the Capital Region will be a comfortable, safe and fun space for you and your dog(s) to play. Located in a quiet neighborhood in Guilderland (near the borders of Albany and North Bethlehem) with ample driveway space. Easy access to the backyard - you can use the private black metal side gate (pictured) to enter the backyard. You’ll find ample space for running and playing. There’s even a dedicated smaller fenced in dog area within the larger fenced in backyard (if you’d like to use that dog-friendly space as well). For the humans, there is a large covered porch, with ample seating and outlets for charging your phone. For dogs, there is a water bowl with readily accessible hose for water, toys and treats available for use while in the backyard. We have two small pups (Daschunds) of our own (Murphy and Bucky) who love their backyard but they will be inside during your visit so your pups will have the space all to themselves. This is truly a private dog park! This fenced area is not connected to my house, nor is it visible from our house windows (only one bathroom window facing that way). It’s also not visible from the road or neighbors. For safety, there are double gates at the entrance. The area is mostly grassy except for a turf covered area that is prone to mud. Basic items are available like a dish for water, towels, a lawn chair, poop bags, a paw cleaner, long lines and a shovel to throw poo in the woods. Also, there are 2 trees for shade, a hose available, a sprinkler and 2 kiddie pools for your use. This area is used for my dog walking business a few hours per week but is available otherwise.

Street parking; walk to the back of the building where you’ll find the fence gate held closed by a loose metal chain. NOTE: This fence is old and not secure. If you have a dog that is prone to running away please be mindful that they may be able to jump or slip underneath the fence.
