As the weather is changing and days are getting shorter please book no later than 6:30pm. 🐶 If you are looking for a quiet and secluded place for your fur babies to play you have found the right spot. This is a great spot for reactive dogs and non socials as I am situated on 5 acres and 2 of the acres are fully fenced for the SniffSpot. My neighbors are very spaced out as well, so u have a very quiet visit. Also a great spot for training ( we have added agility equipment, we have 2 huge tires and an A Frame ladder). Fully fenced yard, close to major roads. Get back to nature so close to the city. New for 2023 Agility equipment will be available for use. It is stored on the patio across from the doggie supplies. Enjoy running your pup through the tunnel or over the jumps and through the weave poles.

🐾 Closed 11/12/24 for gazebo install. Will re-open 11/13/24 🐾 Welcome! We are excited to share our yard with you and your dog! This is a 0.25 acre rectangle of flat land with lush cut grass. Bring your dog(s) to run, play or train. We provide dog water, a few toys, shelter and shade. There are cable spools, weave poles, a tunnel and a jump for your dog to use for confidence building and exercise! FYI: we do live in a rural area, during hunting season you may hear gun shots in the distance. 🔥 propane heater now available for use in the fall and winter. Please just turn it off when not in use to conserve propane.

We offer our 18 acres fenced in area. We specialize in reactive and fearful dogs. We understand the challenges of having a dog that is scared and how important is to have a place in which you can relax and enjoy him/her/them instead of being hypervigilant looking for triggers 24/7. And moreover, we want your dog(s) to have a place in which he/she/they can be happy and have fun instead of being constantly looking for triggers and feel stressed out. Here you will see no triggers (but a chicken or turkey here and there, which would probably add to the enrichment experience) We hope you can relax and enjoy playing with your dog and have him/her/them go home tired, satisfied and happy. As extras, your dog(s) will still be able to smell different animals like deer, turkey, squirrels, snakes, frogs, and also play in our small agility area. You will not have to see any dogs while being here, no worries we have you cover. This spot offers soooooo much! Doggy obstacle course perfect for racing and agility training, plenty of squirrels and rabbits! Dog Wood Park sits on 30 acres with at least 18 of those fully fenced. One yard is called Sunny’ Place and it is predominantly obstacles to climb and explore. Sunny was my Parkour pup. Other areas are large hilly pastures offering room to run and lots to sniff! I am a dog lover and trainer and am always adding items that offer enrichment and joy.
