55LOVE this sniffspot. Been to a few but this one is definitely a favorite. Plenty of space to run free and hop over logs, splash around in the creek, what more can a dog ask for? Will definitely come back to this one. Gregory was such an amazing host, explains well the layout of the property. Even has a hose and towel you can use to clean your pup if they get dirty from mud.Christina C.

55Gregory was a wonderful, attentive host! Definitely an off-leash spot only for dogs with good recall—there are a few places where it is ~100 yards or less from a somewhat fast road. Don’t think that makes it noisy, though—this is a serene, quiet, beautiful spot. My dog loved splashing in the creek and chasing his ball through the woods. Will absolutely be back, and soon! Nina M.

We had an absolute blast! The host was AMAZING. We have a reactive pup so going to parks or public places are very nerve wracking, but this allowed him the freedom to truly enjoy himself! We will be back!!!Kayleigh W.

55My dog had an incredible time!!! Gregory true loves dogs and nature. His place is a paradise for the pups. Gregory first put his wonderful dog Carolina away when we pulled up, but I thought that my dog would enjoy running around with her. And they had a blast chasing each other. Thank you for your hospitality! Dasha O.

55Wow! Spent the afternoon here and it was positively MAGICAL!!! Once you get down to the creek, which is an easy and short walk on a trail, you are surrounded by tall, lush forest. The creek itself is a gentle current ankle deep in some areas and maybe 2 1/2 feet to 3 feet in others. I came alone with my dog Pepper so I asked the owner and his dog if they’d like to join us. I’m so glad I did! The pups got alone really well and had a blast and Gregory is very welcoming and we had some great conversation! It was a great day. Honestly, this place is like Disney World for dogs. Highly recommend!!!!Liz D.

55We had a lovely time and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. It was so peaceful and quiet. Our dog Jaeger was so happy just zooming around and playing in the creek. I haven’t seen him run like this in a long time so it was just awesome to watch.
Everything was marked clearly and easy to find. We briefly met the host Gregory and he was so nice, explaining the trails to us. He was also very mindful about giving us space with our dog which was nice because our dog can be a bit unsure around strangers.
We will definitely be back and are so grateful to have found this place. Definitely check it out, you won’t regret it.Julia B.

55Incredibly pleasant. The creek is the highlight - shallow places to wade, and deep places to swim. The owner, Gregory, is very accommodating, and his dog, Carolina, might have been Wally’s favorite part of this SniffSpot. There isn’t any signage on the main road, just two mailboxes and a gravel entrance to the homestead, so watch closely and use Google Maps, not Apple Maps.Rachel J.

55We had a great time here. My dog is fearful of strangers, so I really appreciated that our host Gregory understood that and gave him space. My dog was able to relax and enjoy the woods and creek. Lauren K.

55What a great way to spend an hour, weaving through wooded paths, wading through a stream, and following my hound’s nose to his heart’s content. Gregory met us and showed me a few photos that helped me recognize different trails. We’ll be back. Thank you, sir!!Kristen B.

FAQ about our Chapel Hill dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
Dog fields in the Chapel Hill area range from $4.0 and $4.0. The least expensive dog field is Small Yard in West Seattle. The most expensive dog field is Small Yard in West Seattle. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
