Hello! We are 2 dog lovers looking to share our spot with you! We have 2 of our own dogs(both females) who love our big back yard and we hope your dog will too! Our dogs will be kept inside at all times while you are there. (You may hear them barking when you first arrive). -There is a hose and water bowl for your use, along with some dog ropes, balls, and bones. *We ask you to please pick up after your pet and keep our yard clean! Salisbury Dog Park RULES FOR USE HOURS OF OPERATION: DAWN TO DUSK, WEATHER & CONDITIONS PERMITTING TO PROTECT THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE OF ALL, PLEASE STRICTLY OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING RULES • Please utilize the dog park in a responsible manner at all times. People who violate these rules will be asked to leave. • Users of this facility do so at their own risk. The City of Salisbury shall not be liable for any injury or damage caused by any dog in the leashed or off-leash areas. • The owner / handler of any dog assumes all liability for damages suffered by anyone who is bitten or injured by that dog while utilizing the dog park. • Handlers must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. • Dogs must be on leash when entering and exiting the off-leash dog area. • The off-leash dog area is for dogs, their handlers, and those accompanying them. No other use is allowed. • All dogs must be legally licensed and vaccinated and must be wearing a visible rabies tag. The use of heartworm and tick prevention products is highly recommended. • Puppies under six (6) months of age are not permitted in the park. Puppies over six (6) months of age must have full immunizations to utilize the park. • The Small Dog area is limited to dogs of thirty (30) pounds or less. Handicapped, elderly or timid larger dogs are also allowed in this area. • Female dogs in heat and dogs that are sick are prohibited in the park. • Dogs must be under the control of and in view of their handlers at all times. Always have a leash available and ready for use as may be required. No unattended dogs are permitted in the dog park at any time. • Aggressive dogs are prohibited in the dog park. Please remove your dog if it becomes hostile, out of control, or barks excessively. Owners / handlers are responsible for the actions of their dogs. • Closely monitor un-neutered dogs at all times. • Prong (pinch), choke or spiked collars are prohibited. • Children 10 years and under are not allowed in the dog park. Children ages 11-17 years are permitted but must be accompanied by an adult. • Handler is limited to a maximum of three (3) dogs. • Handlers must immediately clean up after their dogs. Clean-up mitts are provided. Please deposit all waste in the trash cans provided. • Please prevent your dog from digging any holes, and fill them back in if necessary. • NO food, alcohol, tobacco, rawhides, or glass containers. Training 'treats' are allowed. • Professional dog trainers are not permitted to use this facility for training purposes without written permission from the City of Salisbury. • No animals other than dogs shall be permitted in the dog park. • In case of emergency please contact the Salisbury Police Department at (410) 548-3165.

General Rules Please utilize the Dog Playground in a responsible and respectful manner at all times. The Dog Playground is self-patrolled. Failure to adhere to Dog Playground Rules my result in the revocation of park membership. 1. Dogs must have a current rabies vaccination and be registered prior to entering the Dog Playground. Vaccination tag must be displayed on the dog. 2. Dogs must be supervised by persons 18 years or older. The minimum age to enter the Dog Playground is 11 years old. Children 11 – 17 years of age may enter with a parent or guardian. 3. All dogs must be on a leash when entering and exiting the Dog Playground. Remove leashes in the designated “unleash area” only. 4. Keep gates closed at all times. Enter and exit swiftly. Emergency exit should only be used for true emergencies. 5. Accompany and monitor your dog(s) closely at all times. Dogs must be under control of and in view of their handlers at all times. Always have a leash (6 feet or less) ready for use. 6. A maximum of three(s) dogs per handler are permitted in the Dog Playground at one time. 7. Dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior or excessive barking must be removed from the Dog Playground immediately. Aggressive dogs are prohibited. 8. Owners/handlers are responsible for clean-up of dog waste in bags and containers provided as required by the Town Code. 9. Dog pool use is for dog play only. Shampooing/grooming is not permitted. Humans are not permitted in the pool. Pool should be drained after each use. 10. Any personal items abandoned at the Dog Playground will be removed and, depending upon value, will be discarded or put into lost and found at Northside Park, 200 125th Street. 11. No unattended dogs are permitted in the Dog Playground at any time. Abandoning animals is prohibited by law. 12. Puppies over six (6) months of age must have full immunizations to utilize the Dog Playground. 13. Pass cards are not transferable between dog owners. Do not bring other dogs in on your pass. 14. The owner of any dog assumes all liability for damages suffered by anyone who is bitten or injured by that owner’s dog while utilizing the Dog Playground. 15. Digging is not permitted. Should a dog successfully dig into the turf, owners must fill holes immediately. 16. Brushing or grooming dogs within the perimeter of the Dog Playground is prohibited. 17. Professional dog training (unless written permission has been granted by the Town of Ocean City) is prohibited. Small Dog Area Rules & Recommendations 1. It is strongly recommended that dogs 28 lbs and lighter use the “Small Dog Area” exclusively. 2. Shy dogs or older dogs over 28 lbs may use the Small Dog Area if there are no small dogs requiring use of the space.
- Park is open sunrise to sunset only. - All dogs must be licensed and wear current license and vaccine tags. - Dog owners/handlers assume all risks for injury or loss of any kind to themselves and their dogs. - Dog owners/handlers are legally responsible for any damage caused by the dog. - Dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times outside the fenced area. - Owners/handlers must carry a leash at all times and closely supervise their dogs. At no time may the owner/handler exit the fenced area without his/her dog(s). - Only people with dogs are permitted in the fenced area. - Each owner/handler must be above the age of 13 and shall not supervise more than two dogs while in the park. - Excessive barking is prohibited; dogs barking excessively must be removed. - Dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior are to be removed immediately. - Any waste left by the dog must be picked up immediately and properly disposed of in the containers provided. - Owners/handlers may use old grocery sacks/bags. - Owners/custodians must fill any holes created by their dogs and report any observations of gaps or weaknesses in the boundary fencing to the Parks and Recreation Department. - No human or dog food, including treats, are allowed in the park for any reason. - Prohibited from entering the park are dogs with sickness, female dogs in heat, puppies under four months of age and all other domestic animals. - Smoking is strictly prohibited in the park.

Rules & Regulations • The City of Cape May Dog Park is open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week. • Dog owners must apply annually for and obtain a dog park tag and Keepers must have their tag visible at all times. • Children under the age of 18 are prohibited in the Dog Park unless they are accompanied by an adult and no children under the age of 10 are allowed inside the fence. • No smoking, alcohol, food, or glass containers are permitted in the Dog Park. • Keepers must immediately report any dog bites or unlicensed dog park users to the City of Cape May Police Dept. (609) 884-9500 or 911. • Aggressive dogs are prohibited in the park. Dogs that become aggressive or uncontrollable must be immediately leashed and removed from the Dog Park. • Keepers must clean up after themselves and their dogs. • Dogs are the only animals that Keepers may bring to the park. • Dogs must wear collars with valid Dog Licenses. No choke collars or prong collars are permitted. • No more than two dogs per Keeper are permitted in the Dog Park at one time. • The owner of any dog assumes all liability for damages suffered by anyone who is bitten or injured by the dog while utilizing the Dog Park. • Female dogs in heat are prohibited. • No unattended dogs are permitted in the Dog Park at any time. Abandoning dogs in prohibited by law. • Dogs must be leashed at all times except when within designated free run areas. The Cape May City Dog Park is managed by the Cape May Dog Friendly Association working in conjunction with the City of Cape May to operate and maintain the Dog Park on an annual basis, pursuant to regulations in Ordinance 145-22.
