This is a great spot to visit and explore. As others have mentioned, this is a hilly and rocky (in areas) property. There are some deer paths you can follow but we spent most of the time meandering amount the trees and rocks and small open spaces. My dog tends to be a hazard magnet and he stepped on one of two cactus plants we came across. Since the property boundaries aren’t marked on the west side, it can be a little challenging to know where you are in relation to neighbors properties. I found GPS on my phone to be helpful. We will definitely return… my guy loved chasing after bunnies and small critters. We worked on off-leash recall and had fun exploring. I enjoyed finding some pretty wildflowers.

This is a great spot for off leash, curious pups! It is a little confusing on where to walk but we got used to it. Definitely recommend!

We had a nice quick sunset walk. Definitely hilly and rocky as others have said, hiking shoes are helpful. Hard to tell where the property line is so we just stayed away from the neighbors. Nice view with lots of obstacles for the dogs to explore :)

Wonderful place with beautiful scenery. As others mentioned, you’ll want to wear decent shoes as it’s uneven and sloped. We parked our 19’ camper and tow vehicle on the side of the road at a little pull out rather than go up the driveway. The driveway has a couple of switchbacks and we just didn’t want to deal with turning around in their driveway. Carol was very communicative and answered all my questions. We’ve been to several Sniffspots and this is one of the most beautiful so far!

My dogs loved being off leash and able to explore. We saw a large elk but luckily he ran before the dogs could see him. Great place close to the city to let your dogs enjoy nature.

We had a great little hike here! My GPS took me past the easy to miss driveway, but it was easy enough to double back and find it. You’ll definitely need 4wd to get up the driveway, as is suggested in the listing, but a hike up the driveway is half the fun anyway! My dogs and I were good and tuckered out after an hour of exploring.

Nice spot, with lots of good sniffs. Thank you for the hospitality! I agree with a prior commenter that some sort of map or sketch would be helpful to make sure we stay on the property, but I think we managed it. We will come back!

Beautiful and quiet wooded area with lots of great areas to sniff! My dog-reactive pup thoroughly enjoyed his time here this morning. The host was quick to respond to my questions, and property is exactly as described. Loved it! We will be back :)

What a beautiful corner of the world to share with doggos ❤️ The road was very easy to navigate with AWD with just a bit of remaining snow. The property is beautiful and large, best to wear hiking shoes if you want to do some exploring and make a the most of it. Will visit frequently! As stated in the listing, it’s not fenced so make sure your dogs have good recall. There were no people or animals we saw on the property, could hear cows and dogs barking from miles away with the bare trees that might be challenging for some dogs with questionable recall.

We loved this sniffspot! Very accessible from Golden/Denver. The dogs really enjoyed running up and down the hill, sniffing for wildlife and exploring the area. There are spots of snow/ice but it was still very easy to get around. The instructions for finding the driveway were very helpful!

We drove a Prius and decided to park it at the bottom of the driveway instead of trying our luck (January). We walked up to the house, explored the property for a bit, then walked back down to the car. Nice little hike for us. Good exercise for the pup. Gorgeous area. Definitely recommend.
