Welcome to "The Pipeline", a field, bush and forested area with a stream, pond and trails that dogs are going to love exploring. No neighbours in any direction to hassle you while making all the noise you want. Grass may be tall or short when you arrive, as it is a hay field, with a trail cut around the perimeter and through the forest to get to the pond. Guests are able to explore the whole property, but please stay to the forest and field areas. We have marked the trails with orange tape so that you can follow along, or just freestyle it and go wherever the nose leads. We realize sometimes dogs get excited and will venture out of those areas, so dont sweat it. As long as they are having fun, just call them back and continue on your way. We do suggest bringing some bug spray/mosquito repellent. There may be some burrs in the bushes, so have to watch for that.

With plenty of room to run, explore, and play, this spot is ideal for dogs who need a bit of space to stretch their legs. The area is mostly grassy, with a few shady spots and gentle hills, providing a calm environment away from busy streets. Fresh water and shaded seating are available for both you and your dog to relax and enjoy your time here. Whether your dog wants to run around or simply explore at their own pace, Golden Root Acres is a great place to let them be themselves in a safe, quiet setting. Please park anywhere in the driveway and enjoy your visit!

Also there is a tap near the gate that you can fill your dogs bowl incase your dog/dogs get thirsty. We have provided a tote full of toys and balls that your dog/dogs can play with. Plus the backyard has lots of different things that will be exciting for your dog/dogs to experience. There is an extra that you can select when booking your time slot called treats and if you select that extra then we will hide treats for your arrival! Then your booking switch from Area 2/3 to Area 1, 5 or 6. If you want to book Area 3 or 2 in addition to your pool spot (area 1, 5 or 6), please create a new booking without any extra marked so you can then enjoy pool time plus off leash area 2 or 3 to dry off. We have Multiple areas available for rent (privately between you and your friends) ranging in square footage. Area 1 (5,460 sq ft) is a competition spec Dock Diving pool area, great for dogs who are confident swimmers and divers. Area 2 (3,150 sq ft) is great for small dogs and hosts some agility equipment. Area 3 (11,913 sq ft) is great for medium and large dogs. Area 5 is our inground pool which is heated and great for dogs and humans. Area 6 is our freshwater filtered splash pond, great for dogs to learn how to swim. Lastly we have a members only dog park (33,706 sq ft). You and your dog have to pass a recall/body language test to make sure everyone is safe, combined with security cameras our dog park really takes it to a new level of fun and safety. We offer 20 acres of woods with some trails for your dogs enjoyment. Please keep your dog on leash until in the dedicated Sniffspot area. Parking for the woods with trails is available along the boulevard at the entrance to the trail. You have to drive past our driveway to get to the entrance. Please do not touch or approach the horses. Water is available outside at the front of the training arena. Come play with us!

***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** Conveniently located between London and Woodstock, near Ingersoll and Thamesford, this indoor arena is the perfect place to let your dogs romp! The arena is 8450sq ft of sand, fully fenced and located on a horse farm. There is a separate entrance near the parking lot for easy arrival and great for dogs who do not like to see other animals/people. Reactive dogs can be accommodated and are welcome - we know they need play time too! Pooper scooper/pitchfork and trash can are provided, please clean up after yourself and your dog. We ask that you do not let them excessively dig in the footing - a rake has been provided if needed. There may be jumps, large balls and dog toys in the arena which you are welcome to use. Dogs must be on leash when entering and exiting and at all times when outside of the arena. **During the summer months the large arena door is open for airflow, it is gated and most large dogs can not sneak out. If you have a small dog or an escape artist please feel free to pull it closed. Alternatively let us know before your arrival and we can close it for your visit.**

There are great ponds for swimming and Cow Creek near the back 20 acres to play in, a wetland area has been recently installed by a nature conservation group. We ask folks to keep dogs on leash through the front 5 acres where we grow organic vegetables. Please do not enter the greenhouses or barn. Please stay out of the crops and garden beds.

We have treed areas, large manicured and unfenced areas for zoomies, a pond for frogging plus an L-shaped fully fenced, fully secure area that wraps around the north and east side of the house. It's the perfect size for a small to medium dogs. It has a manicured portion and a unmaintained portion. (The east side is aprx 60’ long x 25’ wide and the north side is aprx 100’ x 20’ wide.) Larger than some city backyards! We have kiddie pool for splashing and towels for drying the toe beans before getting in the car! We also have fresh water bowl areas with toys such as tennis balls, sticks and tug toys for your dogs enjoyment! There are so many spots to sniff and investigate or just sit and chill with your doggo. We think you will really like it here and look forward to your visit!

For example: we have deer and coyotes. - We have a dog and a cat. - We have two young children. It is important to be aware of kids on the property. The dogs must be great with children. - We have a hobby farm with farm animals. Must be gentle with Chickens and farm animals. - We are in the country, there is also an opportunity to go for a walk on the farm roads. - We can host one household at a time.

We have a fire pit with seating in one of the grass acres. There are no longer Alpacas and goats here as they’ve moved to the farm down the road. But you will come across Canadian Geese and Wild Turkeys, and sometimes Deer. As you drive by the red barn to the parking area you will sometimes see our dog friendly dog Butch in his gated area most likely sleeping! 😄 Once you reach your parking it is private and you are alone.

Our back yard is lots of fun for both dogs and humans! We have lots of shade and sun, a doggy bed, dog toys and treats, and lounge chairs for humans. If you have kids, they’re welcome too. Our two little girls love to meet new dogs, but also can stay inside if your dog is shy. We have drinks, a washroom, parking, and anything else you need for a comfy play date.
