We are redoing the outside fencing so the way to get in for now is kind of weird, sorry! You move the black trash can, move the fencing like a door, and go thru. We have a poop scoop and a bucket outside for clean up. There is a huge double water bowl outside for water. We also have some fetch toys! There are cameras all around the property and 4 people live here, so feel free to ask questions if you have any!

18 acre ranch with beautiful landscape, views of horses and occasionally wildlife depending on time of day. You are welcome to pet the horses but do not feed. Please do not allow your dogs to bark, growl or charge the horses (even though they are behind fences). All the horses are calm and easy around dogs, which we need it to stay that way. We have a fully fenced area roughly 10 acres with mowed paths for walking. You are welcome to walk thru the field if desired. There are random balls and toys in the field for use, water is available and if we are home during your visit should the restroom be needed we will honor use of that. You are welcome to bring agility or equipment and toys each visit if desired or practice nosework. We are also open to hosting groups, such as agility, nosework or trainers who need a large outdoor space that is fully fenced. Off street parking and can accommodate large vehicles. Small dogs are welcome, do note the fencing is graduated so depending on size of dog, some real tiny ones who are escape artists may not be the best fit. A walk around the interior fence line is about 1/4 mile so it's great for the active dog owner too. It's a close-in rural location right in Aurora just two miles east of I-225 from the Sixth Ave exit. While my field area is strictly for the dogs, there is a horse in a corral area next to the dog field. My neighbor has loose chickens on his property. Neither the horse nor the chickens are bothered by dogs. Dogs may bark out of curiosity and that's totally appropriate and ok, but they soon realize that with no reaction there is no need to bark. Sniffin' Hours are: 8:30 am -5:00 pm every day of the week. You may reserve time up to 14 days in advance.

This was literally my dog's dream come true! Huge spaces to run and so many exciting smells! We will be back, hopefully often - he was so tired after, but the satisfied, truly relaxed tired that comes of doing what your brain and body are meant for 🧡 Be aware that there are livestock on the property and during our visit they were directly adjacent to the dog-available space, and there are prairie dogs. For our dogs these were fantastic enrichment but for some it would be too much.

Oh my goodness, this Sniffspot is what all city dogs dream of!!! Livestock, birds circling overhead, fenced pastures for acres and acres and acres, and lovely humans managing it all! Wonderful, joy-filled, decompressing experience for me, my dog, and my client dog. I got MAJOR all night "thank you cuddles" after Hannah treated us to such a delightful time on her farm with cow, goat, and alpaca friends! Yes, if you're coming from Denver, as we do, it's a bit of a haul. But TOTALLY worth it! Let your dog be a dog and run, sniff, explore, engage!!! She/he will thank you in smiles and cuddles galore!

My favorite sniff spot so far!! The land is HUGE and my dog had a blast. The hosts are kind and welcoming- I had many questions and they were patient in answering. My dog can be anxious (was recently rescued) and this spot was safe for her. As expected, there’s some poop from the farm animals! Not a problem at all- the animals and all the smells are part of what makes this place such an enriching experience. Just don’t be surprised, since you’re on a farm😉👍🏼 Highly recommend, we’ll be back!❤️

Another great visit to Frizzle Farm! Despite the seemingly endless summer Colorado is enduring, there's fresh cool water and shade to pause and relax for "farm dogs for the hour" like Lily and Blossom! I especially appreciate the calm farm animals- resting, snacking, and/or meandering adjacent in their corrals. Several years ago, my Blossom was chased by a horse multiple times on a friend's ranch, so she's carrying an unfortunate reinforcement history. Frizzle Farm gives her a chance to be curious without threat of being chased! And it gives me a chance to add a tasty food reinforcer to the experience of being proximate to these sweet creatures! Bringing two additional client dogs on Saturday- to my knowledge they are not farm/ranch experienced; sure to be an adventure for all! We LOVE this Sniffspot and stop by for a quick dip in the St. Vrain River on the way back to Denver to cool down and rinse off the dirt and dust inherent in a fun farm experience! This was a super fun Sniffspot for us. LOVED how soft the ground was (they just had some snow melt away) but even so the ground was much softer. Much less worry for scraped toes and paws for those rougher herding breads who turn on a dime! Personally, I loved being around the barn animals (who are all safely contained). The enclosure is fenced well. There are other farm animals in enclosures next to the fenced pen, so for our first visit I kept my dog on a long line so that all could have a positive experience and not get too overwhelmed. My dog enjoyed exploring and taking in the new scents.
