We are closed for winter! See you and your pup next year in our pool! Welcome to Maxie Pool for private water play time! The first pet pool in the area. The pool is chlorinated and professionally cleaned weekly. We provide S/M/L size dog life jackets (1 jacket for each size) and some pool toys. The water temperature largely depends on the weather conditions. Due to the cold weather and rain recently, the pool water temperature is around 60-64 F degree at noon(early November). We had some big pups(golden retriever, bernedoodle, and labs) come to swim and they all had a lot of fun. However, some small dogs might feel cold in the water and the pool in November is unsuitable for people to swim. 2 guests come free with the 1st dog. Any additional dog includes 1 additional guest at no extra charge. If you have extra guests coming, please select the correct number of additional guests in the EXTRAS. Extra guest is $15/person/hour. Total 6 guests max. Sorry the pool is not suitable for children. Children under 16 years old are not allowed to enter the property for safety reasons. POOL RULES (please read) *Please note this is a private swimming session for your pets, please supervise your dog at all times, NO coach/lifeguard on site. *The east side of the pool is up to 9 ft deep. Pet & humans swim at their own risk. Children under 16 years old are not allowed for safety reason. The host is not responsible for any liability. *Dog owners and guests are welcome to enter the pool to help and support your dog swimming, but please note NO BATHROOM is provided. As this is mainly the dog pool, dogs constantly bring oil/dust/dirt to the pool. We clean after each visit and the filter system is on but there is a limit to how much the filter system can handle. Generally, the water is clearer on weekdays compared to weekends. *Please do not touch any pool system control in the backyard. You will be responsible for the damage if misused. *This is a quiet neighborhood, please respect our neighbors so no screaming/yelling/loud music/pool parties. *Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the pool area, only off-leash your dog once the pool gate is locked. *The pool area is fenced. Please make sure the pool fence is locked at all times. *Please note there are plants, trees & flowers, and areas with mulch, rocks & stones in the backyard. Please watch out for your dogs' activities at all times. The host is not liable for any injuries or damages that could happen to dogs and pet owners. *Please bring your own towels. No water hose/outlets/dryers available in the backyard and no shower facilities for dogs. *Pool is professionally cleaned by the pool cleaning company every Monday and there might be pool chemicals. *No dog treats/human food or glassware in the pool. *No use of the pool beside the registered guests. *No peeing/pooping in the pool. James was a wonderful host who was very patient with our reactive dog who calmed down and had a great time. The Spot had plenty of toys and space to run, as well as a nice picnic table for us humans. We were able to park in the driveway and walk along the sidewalk to the gate to the left of the home. One side of the yard has a big gate along a sidewalk. My sensitive dog did see a human and ran up to give one loud bark but was having so much fun, that was enough. A non-issue for us but just a heads up if your dog is super sensitive. I also liked that a four foot fence separated the field from the backyard patio so our dogs couldn't disturb James' dogs. Overall, a very positive experience. Highly recommend!

James was wonderful! I put the wrong time on my calendar and showed up almost an hour late. James couldn't have been more gracious; he didn't mention I was late and let my dog play in his wonderful park until another dog arrived. We will definitely be back as my dog zoomed around, sniffed and had a blast! He loved the trees, grasses, toys and large area to run and sniff. He also liked the squirrels in the trees. So happy to have a place for my dog to be off-leash and run!
