About 65 acres is walkable and we have trails throughout. We are learning as we go, and hope to provide you and your dogs a fun day. If you have any question feel free to ask. And remember, we love dogs just as much as you do. There are a few important points we'd like you to consider. We like to meet our new guests for the first time. This gives us a chance to get to know you better and also put friendly faces to us, the hosts. We want you to feel welcome and know that we care about your dogs. We have several trails that split out to other trails. There will be signs to help you navigate through them, and some suggestions that will help you keep track of remaining time. In the colder months, running water will not be provided. We will also reserve the right to cancel the appointment if we get heavy snow squalls. Our plan is to keep the trails plowed, but in the event of a snow storm, it may take us a few days to get the trails plowed. In general, we will not be open past dusk, unless you specifically ask us and are aware of the risks of walking in the dark. I always walk my dogs on winter nights. Just carry some sort of flashlight. We currently have an electric gate that can only be opened by us at the gate, and not remotely. When a guest arrives, we will be there to open the gate for you, close it once you're in, and open it again upon your departure. Lastly a note about safety. Safety is important to us, but please note that you are entering nature. Our spot is home to many small animals, including porcupines. If your dogs are into porcupines, I would stay cautious of your pets entering the dense bush and recommend they stick to the trails instead. The probability of spotting a porcupine though is very low. Other animals will simply not bother human visitors and their dog companions. You may spot a deer or two if you're lucky that day. Deer are mostly friendly, but I would suggest keeping your distance if you spot a buck. However, they typically flee when they spot you. In all my years spotting buck, I've never seen one charge at anyone. Still, be safe. Although very rare, you many spot a coyote. Once again, they generally don't bother humans. If you spot one, keep your dogs close. Coyotes don't like confrontations with humans, so your dogs will be safe if by your side.

There is also a barn (vacant of animals) that you can check out - lots of good smells! We'll have treats, toys, poop bags and other necessities stocked in the barn for your use. There are hurdles available for additional agility and fun.

Lots of wildlife in the area including deer, raccoons, groundhogs, porcupine, skunk, wild turkey, fox, coyote, coy wolf, etc. so dogs must be on leashes while in the open areas.

Features include a fun obstacle course, a dedicated sand pit for digging, a mini pool for cooling off, and fresh water always available. Multiple jumps, tire jump, tunnels and contact equipment (a-frame, training teeter, full sized teeter, dog-walk). Classes offered to those with little to no prior experience to ensure safe and proper use of all equipment. We cannot guarantee that you will not see other people/hear dogs at our location. We do our very best to limit the amount of traffic during your time slot, however the ring is located on the grass alongside our driveway. While nobody will enter the fenced ring or approach you/your dog during your visit, there is always the possibility of seeing a person(s).

It’s the 1st house on your left east of the 400 or 1st house on your right west of Jane. When u turn in the drive way follow it to the right and then slight left, you’ll see the house. U can park beside the barn and have an awesome walk, sniff all the things. Bring rain boots or shoes u don’t love lol It can get mucky on the trails at times

*SECURITY UPDATE* Due to recent threats from a troubled Sniffspot guest, who was upset about the requirement to follow the time slot rules that protect our guests from unanticipated encounters with other dogs and people, we will now be installing cameras to monitor our property. *Important: All Prices are in USD* *Please look at the pictures of the main gate before deciding if this spot is secure enough for your dog* *SPRING UPDATE* The entrance gate to the Sniffspot in the spring does get muddy and with the saturated soil does hold standing water at times. Please do not park in the standing water. The Sniffspot area is located at the back of my property. Where there is a 6 foot tall fence so that dogs are secure even in the winter with a few feet of snow on the ground. I just recently set this up as family friends recommended I try it, so please be patient as I improve things to make it more guest friendly. Hope your four legged friends enjoy it as much as my dogs do.
