We have three areas for you to enjoy, all are fully fenced and are included in the rental price. We have a fully fenced acre of woods with a trail that goes through to explore. It is accessed through the gate in the backyard. We also have a front yard and deep backyard, great for running, fetch and recall training. The yard is 1.5 acres and also fully fenced. During the summer you have access to two seating areas including a picnic table, gazebo for shade (seasonally) a 30 foot tether is also available if you would like to have your dog stay beside you while you relax. During the winter, paths are plowed in both yards and in the woods within 3-5 hours of a significant snowfall. Hard packed snow and mild weather can create icy sections on the property, we put down sand and pet safe ice melt on the trails to help. Feel free to contact us for trail conditions before booking. Our Sniffspot is our backyard (attached to the house), which is about 1.5 acres of mostly open lawn... great for playing fetch or running at top speed! It is securely fenced with 5' fencing. There is seating, gazebo for shade, dog toys, and agility equipment and a dog pool in the summer. In the winter there are plowed paths. A separate, 8 acre fenced field with walking paths is also available. All breeds are welcome. Reactive dogs welcome. We are conveniently located just a short drive south of the city, our park provides ample space for your pup to run, play, and explore. This space includes open fields, trails, forests, and even a pond. During your visit, you might even catch a glimpse of some deer or wild turkeys! We welcome all dogs, regardless of breed or size. We consider safety a top priority, so if you are hesitant about letting your dog off-leash, We offer a 15-foot lead that you can use.

***Charges are in USD*** This is a 1.5 acre field that is perfect for off-leash and distraction free time with your dogs! This space provides apt enrichment for dogs of all ages. The space offers a combination of grassy fields, small wooded area, and a small pond for dogs to run and explore. There is a seating area and garbage bin for owners to use. This Sniffspot provides your dog the opportunity to just be a dog! When you book a visit you will be the only person on the property, so there is no risk of distractions caused by other people or animals. Please park in front of the big gates and enter the park through the green gate to the left. If you have a new pup that is having recall problems, or you have a reactive dog, this is a perfect stress-free environment for them to enjoy. They will be able to run and play without risk of getting too far, or seeing another dog. We also offer an assortment of agility equipment. Please set it up and return it near the trees at the end of your visit. We offer a discount to anyone with foster dogs, please reach out for details. Please note that the app uses USD, so expect a 30% increase due to the exchange rate. There are some burrs on the hill under the trees. Please message me if this is a problem and I can help find a time that trains do not Typically pass by, they are late and I can only predict via (fast trains) and not CN frieght(slow trains) My dog does not react to the trains . Sometimes service vehicles pass by on railway, I have no idea when this may happen. Generally the railway is dormant. But for a severe reactive dog I can see this could be an issue. Please report any holes or digs under fences. Please indicate If you prefer long or short grass. Lawn is sprayed periodically with garlic to reduce mosquitos ticks, from my research this is non toxic and has not given my dog any issues, as the garlic spray is missing the ingredient that causes problems for dogs. Pool, mister is available. Water is city water, softened. Bring your own toys, and tennis ball for the nerf launcher. My kids also use this lawn so please pick up all dropping or barf. Your dogs can walk or swim and cool off. Some tend to dry out in the summer months. There is beautiful changing foliage, wild flowers, small trees to enjoy and tons of birds that make this spot their home. It is unfenced, but with so many many winding paths to enjoy. You can remain more inland. Come and discover this spot for yourself.

The perfect place for your canine companions to have a great time. Our park is located in a beautiful natural setting, with plenty of space for dogs to run and play. We believe that every dog deserves a safe and fun environment to play and exercise in. Our dog park has a 1 acre 5 foot fenced-in play area that has an open area for running and a small forested area that is great for sniffing. There are some obstacles to explore , an area to play fetch and run free, and a waste disposal station. Some sun , some shade and lots of room to run, sniff and explore. Enjoy clean, fresh air while your dog romps, and explores . There are natural roots and rocks in the field, some brush and a large flat grassed area. Whether your dog loves to sniff and stroll, do zoomies, climb obstacles or play fetch there are options for all. There is parking for up to three cars, with access directly off the road. We take pride in maintaining a clean and well-managed park, so please remember to clean up after your pet and follow our park rules. I recommend you bring some insect repellent. All dogs are required to have proof of up to date vaccination appropriate for the dogs age. Only dogs allowed in the pond , no humans please. Price is $15 per hr for 1st dog , $10 each additional dog .

****IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** We are offering the back 9 acres of our property in rural Ontario, off the scenic Thousand Islands Parkway as a private escape for your special dog. There is a large area (1+ acre) of cut grass and some trails through the woods to explore and smell. It is exclusive, and only the people and dogs in your booking are allowed in the park during your visit. Ideal for sensitive or reactive dogs. *Some areas of the woods have "valuable items" left behind by the previous owner. We are in the process of cleaning it up but quite a bit is still remaining. If you see anything you want, let me know, no reasonable offer refused.

***Charges are in USD*** It’s a fully fenced yard for your dogs to sniff and run around. We welcome all size dogs, the place is exactly as in the pictures. There are chairs, table, poop bags (in shed), trash can, and garden hose ( in summer only) in the yard for guests to use. You can choose to bring your dogs poop away or put it in the small green bin (organic bin). Please make sure your dog poop is fully wrapped by poop bag before you put it in the bin.

RIVER LOVERS’ SPOT IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE…. We are overrun with Canada Geese. The nesting pair were welcome but the number that have moved in since are overwhelming. Their waste has made the site unpleasant. There are 50-80 in residence currently. The adolescents are 75%. Attempts to thwart them have not been as successful as summers past. I will change the calendar (and pics) as the move on. Summer is short!! UPDATE: We are awaiting approval by Dept. Environmental Conservation for ground changes. I’M ANXIOUS AND WILL POST WORD SOON…please be patient 🙁. Follow up 8/10/2022 With summer slipping away and things not changing on our waterfront, I’ve decided to open the calendar and see what happens. Things don’t always go as planned. The water is low. The shore is rocky (but not far in). The natural shore is pretty mucky. And there’s an old dock that needs to be pulled. Mostly cosmetic and negotiable with the keepers of the wetlands. DOGS DON’T CARE. Take a peek and see if it would suit your pup. We’ll be here next year but once it freezes it’s a “no dog” zone. 🐾 Dogs, bring your people and swim, run, or just watch the ships on the St. Lawrence. No fence but there’s more riverfront than road front. Our spot is small, quiet and your only distractions will be shore birds, waterfowl and fish. The shore is low rocks so good footing preferred. The water is shallow. The vistas are perfect. All dogs should have a river spot to share.

A little bit of country in the city :) I have dogs of my own but they will be kept inside or out with me during your time. There will be fresh water bowls for the dogs and bottled water for humans. 100% of the proceeds will go to help run our small dog rescue! Thank you for your support from rescue dogs everywhere!
