Nestled between the Bronx River Parkway and Hutchinson River Parkway in Scarsdale, this ideally located quarter acre, fully fenced and gated private dog park is the perfect location for you and your fur baby. Aside from being a dog park for our pups, those we fostered, and those we dogsit, this yard has also been used for training for Guiding Eyes for the Blind dogs. Ever since my family moved here in the late 1980s we have never treated the yard with pesticide or herbicide, we don't allow any poisonous plants, and we've kept this yard fully fenced and gated with plenty of privacy hedges. There's ample parking on the street. There is a deck and a patio for the humans and two pools, a sprinkler system, agility equipment, and toys for the pups. None of my next door neighbors or bordering neighbors have dogs or outside pets. This is a very quiet and safe residential neighborhood very close to New York City. I love dogs and I plan to follow my Mom's dream of starting a dog sanctuary. I started volunteering at shelters and dogsitting and walking at 16 over 25 years ago. More recently I've become a dog trainer and am increasing my skills at veterinary assistance. My resume also includes corporate pet health in both New York and Los Angeles. Our spot is located right across the road from the beautiful Chadwick Lake in Newburgh! We have 1/4 acre fenced in backyard with regularly trimmed grass. About half of the yard is flat and the other half is on a hill. The hill is great for tiring out your pup! It backs up to a wooded area. There is a deck and a patio with furniture and umbrellas. We provide dog toys that are sanitized between visits. Please BYO water and bowl/container. Hope to have you for a visit soon! Please park on the right side of gravel driveway, located on Grove Court. Walk across front yard or follow path at the top of the driveway. The fenced in area is in the front yard just passed the brown house. There are table and chairs for our guests to be comfortable.

Hello, pups! Come play in our big backyard! We have about an acre of land, and about half of that is in the back where you can hang out. There are three levels of yard, and the farthest back area is a big field perfect for running and playing. There is water, poop bags and a garbage can near the entrance gate. Note: there is no outdoor lighting provided at night

Ample room to run or take a swim. Bring your own frisbee, balls etc and romp away. The pavilion provides shelter from hot sun or sudden showers. Enjoy beaver, heron, bald eagle sightings….pack a picnic and relax w your furry best friend by the side of Wappingers Creek in the hamlet of salt point. Park is winterized so bathrooms/available Mid May-October.
