Come get away from the city and visit us at Sweet Paws Retreat for our private, three acre dog park. We have a large, secluded area right next to the Richard Young Forest Preserve!

The back yard of my property is fully enclosed with minimum 5ft cedar fencing. Easy gated entry off the large parking pad. Please note: -There is a swimming pool but generally guests do not use it unless specifically cleared with me. -sprinkler may be available for use on hot days -I have 4 pet chickens that will be contained in a secure coop/run; guests are welcome to say “hello” to them, but please do not to enter the enclosure/shed/coop. Absolutely NO DOGS in the run or coop at any time, failure to adhere to policy will result in you being asked to leave immediately. Adirondack chairs and seating area with shade sail pergola available for your enjoyment. Please do not allow dogs onto the outdoor furniture on the patio. There is also a forest preserve area at the end of my street that backs up to the Dupage River; it is not enclosed in any way, but free to the public if you would like to go down to the river.

Approximately 1 acre fully fenced (5 ft) area on 3-acre property. This spot is for the area contained within the black chain link fence. Parking available on barn drive. Table, chairs, water, shade.

We at FYDOLAND understand that there are some dogs that do not do well with other dogs or people. Therefore, we offer a private training/ enrichment room and equipment, approximate 2000 ft² where families can play with their dog in a safe, clean environment. Our favorite times of year to see our Newfie play outside are winter (he loves to catch snowballs, chase our kids and then lay in the cold snow)…and the summer when he lays in the cool grass and plops himself down in the kiddie pool. Our spacious backyard is ideal for dogs that need to run run run! We have a 5 foot fence and will add more amenities if we get enough guests. We have 2 Bernese mountain dogs that play well with others if you want them to join you! They will be inside the house and may be seen and heard by your dog(s). There are also chickens next door but the fence keeps them on their side. They will be seen and heard.

Your dog can enjoy lots of interesting smells in our outdoor training yard where we hold our weekly obedience classes. Enjoy shade trees, grass, bushes, and a poop can for your convenience. This is a great spot for starting to expose your dog to the sight of other dogs and people without having to interact with them.

This fully fenced in 0.25 acre yard is attached to our Dog Training studio in Hoffman Estates. It is available for use when we're closed. It is only available after 6:30pm Mon-Fri, and is available all day on Saturdays and Sundays. You and your dog(s) will be the only ones on property during your reservation. The yard is well lit for night trips!

Fall/Winter update: the yard is DARK after 5pm. Hose is off for winterization, so please bring water. Our 1/2 acre fully fenced dog-friendly yard is here to host your special furry friends. We live a short, straight-shot drive from Chicago and are butt-up against the beautiful Salt Creek (and all the wild life that also calls the creek "home" - bunnies, squirrels, groundhogs, birds, garden snakes (harmless, but present in May), etc.). The head of Salt Creek Trail is located just a block away on Thomas Street, so feel free to explore the creek/trail after your yard time. It leads all the way to Villa Park, where you can catch the Prairie Path / Great Western Trail. You'll pass by MORE Brewing Company as well as outdoor bar and food trucks Fuel and Creme (ice cream). Make a day of it! Please note that even though the yard IS fully fenced, it is comprised of a variety of sizes shapes ranging from 6 feet privacy, raw iron, to 4 foot chain-link, barn wood with chicken wire between the wood gaps. You know your dog's "flight risk" better than anyone, so please make smart decisions when booking our yard. Dispose of poop bags in the BLUE TOP bin (green is recycle). Finally, note that we can only host 2 dogs at a time due to wear and tear on the yard. Have fun!

Park hours: The preserve is open one hour after sunrise to one hour after sunset.

Our back yard is a dogs paradise! We can offer 1-2 kiddie pools for the pups to play in! We have lots of toys available, dog bowls, dog treats, poop bags and a pooper scooper, a water house, and a deck which the dogs love to run up and down the stairs. The yard is fully fenced, we can provide a fire pit for human friends, a cushioned love seat and 2 chairs, a patio table, and drinks/snacks upon request! We have two fur babies of our own who love to play outside and we would love to have you and your fur babies enjoy our space as your own!

(FYI guests. We might have to block out Spring days after rain. Our yard becomes a muddy mess). Let your pooch(es) romp away in our spacious fenced-in backyard. Our late boxer loved it.
