Clow Stephens Dog Park
1. Users of this facility do so at their own risk. The Plainfield Park District is not responsible for any injury
or damage caused by any dog in the off leash area.
2. All patrons will abide by the Plainfield Park District “Code of Conduct”. (See Plainfield Park District",Policies/Behavior),"3. Dogs must be healthy, fully immunized, de-wormed and must display current Rabies on their collar.
4. Cooperation between dog owners is expected including keeping order and enforcing dog park rules
and Park District Ordinances.
5. Dogs must be leashed prior to entering and leaving the park. Owners must carry a leash for each dog
at all times.
6. Professional dog trainers may not use this facility for conducting business.
7. Small children shall not be brought into the park.
8. Keep your dogs in sight and never leave dogs in the park unattended.
9. No aggressive dogs allowed. Dogs with a known history of, or who exhibit aggressive or dangerous
behavior are prohibited. Immediately leash your dog and leave the park if aggressive behavior is",observed.,"10. Maximum number of dogs per adult is two and both dogs must remain in the same run area with their",owner.,"11. Please ask the owner’s permission before approaching their dog.
12. Dogs in heat are not permitted in the park.
13. Puppies under 6 months of age are not permitted in the park.
14. Immediately clean up and dispose of feces left by your dog.
15. Fill any holes your dog may dig.
16. Excessive barking is prohibited. Dogs that are barking excessively must be removed.
17. No food of any kind, including dog chews and/or rawhides, are allowed within the fenced area.
18. No bikes are allowed in the dog park.
19. Climbing on or over the fence is not permitted.
20. Keep your dog away from the gate while other dogs are entering and exiting the park.
21. Current rabies tag must be worn on collar or harness at all times within the park.
22. Plainfield Park District staff has the authority to close the site for maintenance, weather related
problems, and
special events without prior notice.
23. In case of emergency (dog bite or unsafe behavior) immediately call 911 for assistance. All other
issues call
the District’s main office at (815) 436-8812.
24. The Plainfield Park District is not responsible for any damaged, lost or stolen property.
Park hours: 6:00am-8:00pm, Monday - Thursday
6:00am-6:00pm, Friday
7:00am-4:00pm, Saturday & Sunday
