Welcome to Bushel Barks private dog park! Let your dogs run, play, sniff, and explore to their hearts' content in our 6 acres of fully fenced woods and fields.

Bugg's Pet Taxi is offering up our fully fenced yard to sniff! Come lay in the grass and watch the birds or bark at the squirrels (those pesky squirrels!). There are sunny and shady spots to enjoy (see photos)! We provide a water dish for your doggo that is refreshed after each booking. Enjoy our patio and umbrella. We have plenty of room for training (or zoomies!). Feel free to charge your phone. Check back because we will be adding amenities in the future.

Captain's Retreat at Bear Creek located off Highway 64 in Mocksville! 4.5 acres of fully fenced (woven mesh wire and post/rail 5.5ft to 6ft high) with trails, woods, field, and plenty of room to run and explore! Open the front gate and drive into the secure parking area. ***CLOSE AND LATCH THE GATE BEHIND YOU BEFORE GETTING YOUR DOGS OUT OF THE CAR!*** Walk through gate into the space from the secure parking area. This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Feel free to give your dog a shower/bath! ***Just added dog pool*** For use at no extra charge! Fill up/use if you'd like! (It's been stored for the fall/winter...but if you would like to use it...please let me know at time of booking) -Dog water bowl, dog brush, toys, treats, human and dog tick spray provided. All located in large deck box inside the gate. -Bring doggy towels in case of mud or bathing! -Porch swing and seating areas with a shed deck, gas grill, picnic table and hammock at the top of the property. -Chair/table area at the bottom of rock trail. At the end of the cleared field is a 2 single seat swing set and hammocks by the bridge. **Stick Library** -**NEW** we have expanded the field area to fence in the hill! Fully fenced equestrian farm with different areas for running and playing depending on where our horses are grazing. We do have one smaller area that is completely off leash for dogs only, no contact with horses. If the calendar doesn’t show a time you’re interested in message me and we may be able to open up a spot for you!

Explore large circular dirt roads, woods, terraced hills, more forest an open valley two small ponds. camping spot in the woods on top of the hill under a 30 foot metal carport with picknick tables and several chairs. Located in the foothills, the Slys Peace trail was created for dog stimulation. The trail starts at the lower end of the pasture and follows the creek meandering through a rhododendron forest. Situated at the base of 100 acres of wooded ridge land, the hike offers a wilderness experience customized to your comfort zone. There are multiple trails to accommodate your level of exercise. The full experience will require crossing the creek multiple times and is recommended for those with hiking experience. Trails are easy to follow with multiple exits that lead out to the pasture. This is dog heaven. Let your dog be a dog. To locate the gate entrance watch for the Giant metal horse. His nose points the way. Follow the fenceline a few hundred feet where you will find the gate just before the power line easement. There is now a large Sniff Spot sign securely attached.

Our yard offers both fenced and unfenced areas, giving your dog the freedom to explore in the way that suits them best. For added flexibility, we have two fenced sections—one large and one small—so dogs of all sizes and temperaments can enjoy their space comfortably. The big fence provides plenty of room for high-energy play, while the smaller fenced area is ideal for more relaxed or shy dogs. We also feature an unfenced section for dogs that enjoy a wider, open space experience. Whether your pup loves to run, sniff, or simply relax, our yard is the perfect getaway for them!

Hike and explore the woods following a variety of creek trails. Look for orange flags or tree ornaments to help guide the way. Chairs are placed through out the woods along the creek so you can “ peace out” while your dogs get wet. The trails end at a beautiful location with a hanging swing, table with chairs and a view of the horse barn. At this point you can choose to hike back through the woods or head out into the pasture. For the full experience expect to climb over , duck under fallen trees, crossing the creek multiple times. This is basically untouched wilderness so be careful! Should you get disoriented and feel lost .. just head for the creek. All trails along the creek follow the fence line with numerous options into the pasture. Don’t expect to reach the end of the trail your first time out! Depending on your level of hiking .. you could explore for hours. Feel free to take home any treasures your dogs sniff out!!

Fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to sniff, play and explore. *ALL BREEDS WELCOME* *ALL TEMPERAMENTS WELCOME* Toys provided, multiple water bowls, (water hose is located behind the house, near porch stairs) poop trash can, as well as a pooper scooper and poop bag dispensers throughout the yard. Hand wipes, first aid kit, chuckit + chuckit balls. A bathing station with dog shampoo and deodorizing spray. Kiddie pools. Multiple treat buckets, feel free to give your dog as many as you want. This is a nice quiet neighborhood, but it still is a neighborhood. So you and your dog may see/ hear people and/or dogs while you are here.
