We understand the struggle of going to dog parks or somewhere in public if you have a nervous dog that doesn’t do well with people or other pets as we have one ourselves! Please use our spot with the comfort of knowing that you won’t be bothered by other people or dogs. I do like to greet my guests and quick show you around. There may be people that are walking/riding bikes on the side street. Some may be walking their dog. If your dog is more sensitive my spot may not be right for you. I also have my own dog that may bark sometimes from within my home. Buster was a 16 year-old dog who passed away on July 25, 2025. He enjoyed his field with family dogs his entire life. He was the last one as we are at an age now where we probably won't be getting another dog; so, we want others to enjoy the land. Feel free to use the wash stall inside the barn (hot water and hoses are yours to use), there is also an outdoor fountain, water trough and plenty of electric outlets. I mowed a trail around the perimeter that is about a three mile walk / run. I also put a path down the middle in case you want to rest after 1.5 miles. Thank you and have fun!

Welcome to Fun in Freeville: Fenced Yard Edition! Come enjoy our 2,500 sq. ft. fully fenced-in yard. Includes deck access and seating. There is a large umbrella for shade and rain in the summer. The ground in the yard is pretty flat and mostly grass. It can get a little muddy during very wet times of the year. There is a hose available for washing off mud, cooling off, or filling up the kiddie pool in the summer. We have a box on the deck filled with balls, frisbees, and other toys. We have a small fire pit in the yard - if you want to start a fire, just let us know! Bring your binoculars if you enjoy birding. Please let us know if you're interested in having a fire or want to know if the pool is out. We'd be happy to start a fire for you if we're available or ensure the kiddie pool has fresh water. Finger Lakes Dog Park is a privately reservable, fully-fenced, half acre canine recreation area. We enthusiastically welcome ALL dogs, but the private nature of the park is especially beneficial for reactive or shy dogs, traveling dogs, handicapped dogs, puppies, or seniors. We are the first and only dog park in Schuyler County, located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region. We have a split rail fence all around our backyard with wire mesh so your dog is safe.

The back yard is large, open, and fenced in for dogs to play, run, sniff, and explore. There is a large tree that offers shade! There are chairs and a small table with a scoop, doggie bags, and a small water dish available for doggie drinks. A small trash can is beside the table.

Our back yard is a great spot to let your pups explore and use that sniffer while you get to relax. We have a fire pit if you want to have a fire, a couch and patio table. Half the yard is grass, the other half is “natural”. There are a couple safe wood piles that your dogs will love to climb over and sniff in, my dogs sure do love it!! There’s also a nice long area for your dog to play fetch. The back yard is like an amusement park for your furry friend.

I lost my 9 year-old pitbull in January. The backyard feels very empty to me right now. He was a very reactive dog, so I know how hard it can be for owners to find a safe spot for their dogs to exercise and enjoy the outdoors. I’m hoping that other dogs will be able to enjoy the space.
