Lots of lawn and woods for pups to run! I have a friendly sheepadoodle too if your pup wants a playmate. A large pond is also accessible for dog paddlers. This is in Kingsmill a gated community but just give the guard your name and Malone at 17 Whittakers and I will have you on my guest list. If you want directions from either gate to my house in addition to your gps the guard will do that too.

Private, quiet neighborhood—yard has a grassy area for ball tossing and a “feral” area for diggers and explorers. Park in front of gate (on grass/gravel mix). Hose to refill water dish to the right of screened porch. Fully 4’ fenced—combo of chicken wire (buried to protect paws) and concrete blocks stopped our little escapee (RIP 😇).

Welcome to 50 acres of puppy heaven! Located off Crittenden Road in Suffolk, Virginia. Please take dirt lane, there is no house. Please do not disturb neighbors. Drive or Walk through the gate and the whole area is yours! There are walking trails in the woods, a pond to find and a river to explore. The open field is wonderful for training and or play. Your dog will love exploring this wonderful property. ***This is the country. The land is wonderful to explore but it is vacant and undeveloped. You will encounter nature, really in the spring and summer. There are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please only book if you are used to the outdoors and being adventurous!*** Update from my guests comments: Wear bug spray when it’s warm, check for ticks after a visit, boots are recommended after rainy days, dogs may get muddy bring towels and look for the new mailbox to identify the dirt lane off the road. Enjoy!

Letting a dog off the leash where they can run around makes a huge difference for a dog’s well-being, mentally and physically. There is no way they can physically interact with your dog through the fence, but control of your dog must be your priority while walking to and from our property. We live in a suburb with close neighbors whom often enjoy their outdoor space in good weather. Penny’s Place is exactly what you want to make of it! Nearly one acre of fully fenced space where you can run, sunbathe, sniff the few trees, play with the hose and kiddie pool, whatever your pup’s heart desires! We do our best to refund our guests when unforeseen circumstances arise, derailing your reservation. Please try to give us notice, even if you are within the 2 hour window, so we can cancel your block. *if bad weather is highly anticipated in the area, please understand that we may not always approve a full refund if you cancel last minute HOURS: we close nightly at 10pm and reopen the following morning at 6 am. Welcome to this hidden rural getaway for you and your Furbaby! There are 10 acres of land that can be explored including woods and most popular a pond to cool off or splash around in during the hot summer months. An abundance of wildlife live in the woods so don’t be surprised by a random deer, rabbits, raccoons and such. With rural areas also comes briars, thorns, uneven ground, mole tunnels, and of course, ticks and mosquitoes the further you venture. So come prepared! There are ammenties available to reserve as well if you'd also like to enjoy the water along with your Pup as they will love exploring as should you! If they have a special affinity for water play, you would like to slowly introduce them to water or to just enjoy a splash on the banks privately they will absolutely have a blast! ** This is the country so while the land is wonderful to explore it does have vacant and undeveloped areas. You will encounter nature especially in the spring and summer. Depending on how far from the house and immediate pond area you venture, there are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please keep in mind when booking your comfort level being used to the outdoors and being adventurous!

Dog handlers must be age 16 years or older. Dog handlers are legally responsible for the actions of their dogs and any injuries or damage caused by them. Users of the off-leash area do so at their own risk. Dogs may only run free in the off-leash area. A leash is required in other areas of the park. Dog waste must be removed and properly disposed of in the waste stations available onsite. Handlers must be in sight and voice range control of their dogs at all times; do not leave dogs unattended. No more than two dogs per visit are permitted. Professional training of dogs on site is not allowed. Use of the area by animals other than dogs is prohibited. Dogs must have a current license and be up to date on all vaccinations. Dogs must not be allowed to dig holes, harass other dogs, people or wildlife
Park hours: March-Oct., Sunrise-10 p.m. Nov.-Feb., Sunrise-9 p.m.
Dogs must be under the handler’s control at all times. Dogs are the responsibility and liability of the owner. Children under the age of (5) years are not allowed within the Dog Park fences at any time. Dogs are not to be left unattended while in any portion of Waller Mill Park, including the Dog Park. Anyone creating a disturbance or violating the Dog Park or general Waller Mill Park rules may be asked to leave Waller Mill Park and/or relinquish their Dog Park membership. Aggressive, disruptive, sick, female dogs in heat, and puppies 4 months and younger are not permitted in the Dog Park
