Having volunteered, fostered, adopted and worked at various animal rescue non-profits over the years, I realized that many cats and dogs don’t get much time outside of the kennels. I also came to understand that many rescue animals develop trauma related behaviors and cannot integrate with other dogs. Additionally, having this time of off leash freedom is a significant bonding experience for pups and their parents! Having the extra space to provide a private dog park and the passion to help all dogs thrive, our private dog park was a no brainer! Our dogs are in a separate fenced area but because I feel this time is for you and your pup(s), I will put my pups in the house so they are not visible to you and your pups. Greene Lake Acres Private Dog Park In Stephens City

Welcome to Greek Lake Acres! We are located in Stephens City and we have 23 acres in total. About 5 acres are open grassy fields with an acre sized pond for swimming in the middle, surrounded by woods, complete with a few trails. Feel free to message me after booking for directions- GPS can sometimes try to take you through Lake Fredrick and you can NOT get to us from there. (Google GPS works best to find us) The lake is "swim at your own risk" as we do not have a life guard on duty. The water edge slopes so you can come out with ease. There is NO FISHING permitted in the pond. Again, there is no lifeguard on duty, dogs swim at the responsibility/risk of their owner. Picnic tables are available near the waters edge and also in the trees next to the pond for shade. On the picnic table we have some floating toys for retrieving and also some sanitary bags if you need any. We are pesticide and fertilizer free, so please make sure you have tick/flea preventative because ticks love the woods! We are not fenced in, so recall is very important. The neighbors do have dogs, some wander so friendliness is important. We have chickens who live in their coop, who will remain safe in their coop during your visit. The property does have an abundance of wild life, including but not limited to deer, turkey, geese, ducks, squirrels and fox, but they do not stay around humans or dogs. Parking is on the lake side driveway near the green sign (see photos) Please note we are often outside enjoying our property as well. If you look at the photos, we typically stay in the “red X” area. If we have guests, our dogs are secured in the house. We can’t wait to see you! The overhangs, patio umbrella and tree coverage keep paw parents dry too! Added bonuses, the chips dry quickly, there's no mud or slippery grass. You can also enjoy a deck with a patio table, cushioned chairs, lawn chair seating and a hammock! We have shady spots, but there also aren't too many trees, so there is plenty of room to play fetch and run around. Amenities include two different size jumps, a balance beam, a slide, a spring-loaded tug rope attached to a tree, a small dog tunnel, furniture on the lower deck for you to sit down, a hammock, and a trampoline. With the slide, not every dog can manage to get up it, so please just use your judgment and be safe 😁.

This is 1 acre of rolling grassy landscape boarded by sparse trees. Mostly sun, however, some shade at tree lines. Parking space is pictured and you walk behind the house past the shed and chicken coop to access the yard. The space is open for use beyond the pool. This area is not fenced. We are located close to highway 29, this is a great spot to break up a traveling trip and let your dog get some energy out!

Piper and I had a wonderful time here. The amenities the host provided are so much that you can just show up with a reservation and your dog. There's toys, water for you and your pet, poop bags, chairs, towels to wipe of if muddy, etc. I cannot see this yard getting very muddy with the material they have. This is a site that can be used rain or shine, and even afer a rainy week/weekend. A few dogs were heard in the area not a big deal for us, just more exposure to things...and training opportunities. Except I forgot to bring training treats. We'll definitely be back and glad to have somewhere to go if it's particularly rainy as we don't want to tear of someone's yard chasing our favorite toy (50/50 of who's picking up the toy I just threw). I was so distracted during the visit, I forgot to take pictures. So the pictures with this review were as were leaving.

Such a nice quiet, peaceful, shady place. There was fresh water, toys, and so many smells. There is a nice county park next door to explore as well. Pup slept the whole way home. We will definitely be back.

My dogs love this place. Water, toys, and poop bags are provided. It’s very spacious so they had plenty of space to run around. It’s also private so my dogs can freely zoom about. I highly recommend this book f your dogs are reactive like mine and they need a place to have fun and you can relax knowing they won’t go anywhere. 5 stars, will be back
