We have a little peace of heaven here in the Shenandoah Valley! We’re just minutes from Interstate 66 & 81. We are also offering many amenities such as cold water for you and your dog! A dog pool, plenty of chairs located sporadically in the shade and one in the middle with an umbrella for shade! We have even put a hammock out there if you want to relax while your dog gets his/her energy out! We have also provided toys, costumes for dress up, light treats and we have a water source for cleaning off the paws as well as towels to dry your pooch before getting back in the car! The private dog park is 100% fenced in and while you’re here our dogs will be in the house so they are not a distraction. All you need to bring is your dog and yourself and you’re sure to have a great time! The proceeds from this Sniffspot will go to our Nonprofit Animal Rescue, Maci Blue Animal Rescue! We provide a large selection of toys, 30ft floating leash, extra poop bags, and a dedicated waste bin. Pictures taken are when the river was very low but regardless it’s still a pretty good spot to go out in the water. Also available to drop in or hop out for kayaking. Arrival Notes: • Parking: Please park in front of the garbage cans located by the garage. • Dog Etiquette: Kindly keep your dogs leashed and off the front lawn. They can relieve themselves in the designated circle or elsewhere if necessary, but please minimize their presence on the front lawn. • Dog Waste: Dispose of all bagged dog waste in the trash can with the black lid in front of the garage before leaving. • Entrance and Exit: Access the field from either the path behind the garage or the gravel path on the right hand side of the driveway. The side yard next to the garage is off-limits. • Supplies: Dog bags are available in the boxes attached to the fence. There is a water bowl next to the hose bib for your convenience. Additionally, a picnic table, chairs, bug spray, and hand sanitizer are provided for your use. • Further Exploration: At the bottom of the stairs, another single gate with more dog bags provides access to the field, creek, and wooded walk. Please leash your dogs beyond this point unless they have excellent recall. Wildlife such as deer, foxes, raccoons, rabbits, hawks, and even beavers may be encountered. • Paths: To the left, a path leads through the woods, up the hill, and around the garage. On the right-hand side of the field, a gravel path leads back up to the driveway. You are welcome to explore the property with your dog(s). Description: • Property Overview: The property spans five acres and includes half an acre of fully fenced lawn, wooded paths, and an open field bordered by Popes Head Creek. Dogs enjoy running and playing off-leash in the fenced lawn area, and there are designated spots like a fire hydrant in the pea gravel area and a sandbox for their use. The creek offers a refreshing spot for dogs to explore and cool off. The property also provides numerous picturesque opportunities in all seasons. Dog Toys: • You are welcome to use the toys I just ask that you return them before you leave. Dog Limitations: • Limit: We allow up to 4 dogs per reservation. Our 11 acre farm is 1/3 mile down an easement off of a quiet road. We have about 2 acres fenced in as a yard for the pups, and also to keep the cows in their pastures. Entrance to the yard is through a gate next to the driveway near the garage. Appointments only please so that we confirm and can put our friendly pups away - unless you would like playtime, and we are sure the dogs get along. We ask that only fully vaccinated and healthy dogs (not recovering or suffering from a transmittable illness) visit our property, as it’s our home.

We have had large and small dogs use our yard. Adam and Terrie love dogs and we no longer have a dog. We do not want to own another dog at this time but we love to have them around. Easy to get to, we are located right off route 17 & 5 miles from 95, right behind Stafford Lakes. My family has lived in Holly Corner since the 1800s, it is safe and quiet. Come enjoy the fresh air, beautiful view, relaxing farm with your dog or dogs! We are a different type of a working farm, as we provide storage and camping on the property and we also grow hay. There is many areas on the farm that one can go that you cannot see others, the road or the other side of the farm. Enjoy your visit!
