55We loved our visit! Large hazelnut field. The field itself is not fenced but the surrounding properties are. Our girls have really great recall so this wasn't a problem for us. We spent nearly two hours just walking up and down the rows. Host is friendly and helpful! We will definitely return.Raechel S.

55My dog had an absolute blast with his friend at this hazelnut farm! It's huge and gorgeous; we'll absolutely be back and highly recommend this Sniffspot. One thing to be aware of is that there are a few llamas behind a fence on one side of the property, but we were able to redirect our dogs before they got too interested.Beth G.

55Our dogs had a wonderful time on the property. They were content playing with their frisbee and ball and didn’t do a lot of sniffing around.
We loved the fact that we had the entire place to ourselves. No need to worry about looking over your shoulder for another dog to barge in.
Cynthia was very friendly and showed us the ropes.
We’ll definitely be back as it was an adventure for us! Janelle L.

55Such a great spot! Clean, beautiful, and plenty of open space for fetching and running. There are several gorgeous oak trees providing shade and interest for our dogs. The ground was level without any holes at all. The host quickly responded to my questions. Such a nice, quiet spot! Bobbie B.

55Thank you for providing so many amenities. My first time there was today but we had a great time. Sorry we ate so many snacks and barked at the horse! My puppy never saw one before. The horse didn't seem to mind, thankfully. We'll be back for sure. Lovely! Meagan W.

55Lots of space to have dogs run around and play! Grass was trimmed, and even though it had just rained it wasn’t muddy which was a great surprise! We also love that snacks, sanitary items, and water were provided. An added bonus was seeing the horses that were right next to the sniff spot. We will definitely come back. ☺️Keyana T.

55This is our third time to this spot in a week. Our dogs love this spot. The host is great, the horse is super chill and in its own space. Our basset turned 3 and our lab 16 so we took them today before we have cake for them. Jason I.

55My girls had so much fun! They met a horse and were safe from anything that might hurt them. I love this!! The yard is big and the ball goes a long way. Goldens and a pit got really worn out. A tired dog is a happy dog!! Thank you for making your spot available 😊😊😊😊Sharon T.

55Lots of space to run, sniff and play. Lots of open sheds with equipment and tools. No other dogs seen but one of the chickens was loose and all 3 of my dogs were chasing her. No harm, no fowl! (My dogs ancestors were bird dogs in ancient times)! Host quickly caught the errant bird and all was well. Beautiful Spot in the country!Lorraine L.

55Dogs really had good things to sniff and ran a lot. Garden beds (asleep), bushes, trees. Big dog behind the house were out and barking but it’s a non-privacy cyclone fence and my (normally barking reactive) dogs had no problem! Open sheds/ work shops were difficult to keep my dogs from (I have 2 deaf dogs) with no verbal recalls. Some stool up near the entry gate left from previous dogs, but otherwise site was good.Lorraine L.

55Nice secure fencing. Snacks, water, water bowl, poop scoop, patio set for seating and shade, and large oak trees for shade. Quiet, non busy road. Very clean, welcoming, and accommodating place. Horses next door, kitties too, which kept my dog's interest. We will definitely go back.Christine G.

FAQ about our Aumsville dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Aumsville area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 107 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 24 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
