In our fully fenced, gently rolling meadow there is plenty of room to run, chase frisbees and balls, dip paws in the pup-pool, and sniff around for the scents of nature. For humans, there is a cozy shelter with seating, a bistro table, and the entertainment of a frisbee "goal". There's shade from a large fir, in the meadow, as well as shade from the woods, on the south side. Fencing is at least 4 feet high, all around. It has a vision-block screen, a 4.8’ top wire, plus double fencing, on the side with neighbor dogs. If the neighbor's Goldens are out, they will friendly bark, and bark. They really want to come over and play. Surrounding Area: There are two private yards (one with an enclosed, screened chicken run, and one with friendly dogs); deep woods on the South side; and an incredible mountain view, over more meadow, on the West side. Sunsets from here are awe-inspiring! Parking: There is room for two vehicles to park near the gate the Meadow. Please park only on gravel and do not drive on the lawn near the meadow. If there are more than two vehicles in your party, please park up the hill in the gravel near the large, 4-car garage. LIMIT of 4 VEHICLES per reservation, unless organized in advance with us. There are four easy-closing gates in the fence, that are generally left open for wildlife passage. We will make every effort to have the gates closed before you arrive, but know that you're responsible for seeing that all 4 gates are closed before you unleash your pups. If you bring kids, you're also responsible for keeping them in the gates :D We hope you visit soon and come back often!

About 4 of the acres is heavily wooded with very mature evergreens & maples. There is a very nice wide trail with lots of little ups & downs & obstacles. The trail is walkable in 5-10 depending on pace. The rest of the property is mostly native grass & weeds with some European grass that surrounds our house & shop in the middle of the property. No busy roads very peaceful & quiet.

Added an outhouse with hand sanitizer, covered seating area, privacy screen along fence to help with anyone walking dogs down the street or the neighbors concrete business. Mostly quiet neighborhood where you can feel safe to let your dog run and dig. Large playground tunnel equipment for your doggy to play in! Don't let the darkness defeat you taking your canine out to play! Installed 3 street lights to keep the early darkness at bay. Light timer switch is on the left inside the dog two way gate. Lights take a couple minutes to get fully bright. Now you can play with your dog from 6am to 9pm. Enjoy this private area that you can let your dog off leash without having to worry about anyone interrupting your time with your dog. Picnic table with cover. Water dish, poop bags, waste bin, sticks and balls with a chuck it at entrance. Coordinate with a friend and meet here to let your dogs play together while you catch up. We charge $13 for the hour space rental so, *please mark only one dog even if you are bringing more* The space has a long grassy open [360 feet] area to use a chuck it for dogs that love to fetch. A large cedar provides shade on half of the property while the other half is in the sunshine. This is a fun spot for dogs to exercise their legs and noses. Please check back for future upgrades. Welcome to my fully fenced yard! The house situated in the center of the lot will give your dog an obstacle to run laps around! Hose available for water bowl refills or a puppy soaking; you may even see the shark sprinkler! My dog, Major, is a professional assistance dog and fully trained. You and your furry friend will have ample space to run around in with plenty of sniffing opportunities. Nothing too fancy, but it's a spot off the highway to let your pet run and play, potty, or even just stretch their legs during the long drive home from the beach or forests. It's our back yard of our private home. We do have chickens in a run by the driveway, so be mindful of that please. And we have 3 bully breed dogs on premises. Enjoy the flowers, throw a tennis ball or play with other random toys in the yard. Let them get a nice gulp of water from the bowl, and if stocked, help yourself to refreshments. While we love our yard and hope you will too, the ground can be uneven with depressions, holes, and roots. I’ve tried to mark the holes, but may have missed some. With the cooler wet weather, mushrooms are popping up and while I remove as many as I can, there could still be some around the yard. As with any yard, hazards may exist. Please be careful and enter at your own risk.

Poop happens typically w/in first 10 mins; bags can be disposed in trash. Hose water available by front door, back patio, and chicken coop area. All areas are fair game once you are inside the gate. Once a stop on the Gig Harbor Garden Tour, this property boasts a variety of terrain to keep your pup(s) busy for hours. We are at the end of a private lane, and the back of the property abuts to 50 acres of DNR. Sightings of cattle, wild peacocks, deer, raccoons and grouse are common. Make yourself (and family) at home around the fire pit, small orchard, tree house, trampoline, flagstone paths and trails. Good shoes highly recommended. NOTE: Sniffspot is promoting their “Sniffpass”, and they have the box automatically checked to “Opt in” when you make a booking. This is out of my control. I do not want my guests to feel Sniffpass is necessary to book my spot. Please uncheck that box if you are not interested to avoid unnecessary “surprise” charges upon checkout (unless you want to subscribe, which is totally ok too!).

We’ve been receiving a lot of messages asking if we are still offering our spot. As with many things, a few bad apples have caused us to stop, offering it to the public. People were leaving behind half eaten tennis balls that were dangerous for our livestock, as well as plastic poop bags littering our field. We set aside 7 1/2 acres for the public to come and enjoy when we weren’t using it for grazing our animals, and people would complain about sheep poop. It was tiring picking up after people, and sniffspot taking 25% of our earnings. It was wonderful getting to know many of you, and we are sorry that others couldn’t appreciate what we were offering and had to tear it apart and leave litter behind. We may possibly open up again in the future.
