Porta Potty for humans. large mowed areas to throw a ball of Frisbee. Large pond with an easy in and out slope into the water for young and senior pups. A small Jon boat with paddle for a pup water tour of the pond. A selection of different size life Jackets for pups and humans. A bulletin board with a sample display of a Blue Green Algae test kit that can be purchased on Amazon’s. An area next to it where guests who do the tests can post the day, time and results for other pup owners to see. An array of pup towels to dry off with and a drying line. A Muddy Paw Spa wash station b4 they get back in the car, multiple large shaded sitting areas. A 10’x 10’ sand filled dig box for the pups who just have a need to dig. A “Tug of War”spring loaded grab bar for pups who like a good tug of war. Multiple pup fresh water dispensers, with bowls for them. Multiple Doggie Poop Depots with poop bag dispensers so for your convenience, no need to carry that around while you explore the 15 acres. ( Fair Warning.. very low tolerance for a guest who does not pick up after their pup) Two wooded trails areas that we have just begun to develop for the wild side areas to explore. A Large professional Obstacle Course with most of the obstacles course pieces seen on U-Tube. Toy stations with a large variety of toys to select from (Please be considerate for the next guest, return them back to the station after use). Porta Potty for humans was hand sanitizer, lime dispenser to process waste and illuminate odor. Two Frisbee Gulf course areas under development. Bring your own disks to play while you pup sniffs,…or rent a back pac of putters, mid range and long range disks from us. This 15+ acres of hay field is mostly fenced, with an opening at the top. If you choose, there is a path along the outside that leads to a creek(unfenced) to the right at the field. There are dogs at the front of the property, which are fenced in. There is possibility of hearing barking from them or neighbors. I teach dog training at the red barn, you may come to parking lot of cars. Dogs will always be leashed and under control and typically away from the parking lot. The students are instructed to leave you alone. Off road parking, I will give clear directions before arrival. Come roam around a huge open space! This is our new favorite spot! Gabrielle showed me around and there’s a bit of everything - trails, forest, a shallow pond, and even some eventing obstacles for the dog to jump over (if they are into agility). There is also an outdoor arena and covered bleachers in case it rains and you want to stay dry. There’s definitely still more for us to explore!

Gabrielle’s place is perfect. Plenty of room to hike sniff play and run off leash with my pup. I’ve been wanting to walk through the woods with her but all the urban trails are crowded and Bear still has puppy lab enthusiasm about meeting people. Will definitely come back. Worth the hour drive. (Also Bear owes 25c for sneaking kisses from one of the horses.)

The pond had frozen over and my dog had a blast breaking through the ice! Another thing I love about this Sniffspot is that there’s a heated bathroom available for us humans as well. I drive about 1 hour each way for this spot, and it is 100% worth it!

This space is incredible! Perfect for small dog packs due to having to walk leashed up for quite a ways before getting to the designated SniffSpot. The path is lined with horse pins full of GORGEOUS and well-behaved horses 🤩 There is a water feature and plenty of space and natural barriers to stay away from it, if need be. The sandy. arena-type area and wooded trails were perfect for my pack of 6 to romp around! We all hate being on leash, but we all had SUCH a great time once we got off. I hope to be back with less dogs on my personal time instead of working with my medium/large packs ☺️

This place is amazing! For horse folks, it has a small cross-country course, which makes for fun parkour training. Be prepared for walking down to the play area. In the hour there I think we just saw a fraction of the area. Oh, and best of all…a real bathroom to use!

Are dog hiking trails safe?

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.

In order to hike the trails, we require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
