My favorite thing about this spot is the fire ring. I'll be checking bunk and county's burn criteria for my next visit, and perhaps toting a little firewood and matches. Even though I grew up on a farm. The gate was hard for me to figure out. So I suggest leaving your pups in the car until you get a handle on that. Gorgeous views. Secure fence. Lovely seating area.

Great spot with clear access directions, plenty of space (I have a Doberman and we were able to play fetch w the room to spare) and a pretty view! Some things to note: you can hear and see goats and ducks in the area, and after all the rain we’ve been getting it’s quite muddy. Wear the right shoes and you’ll be fine!

Sweet spot! We went on a very rainy day so I can’t wait to get back to when I will be able see the views! Pups were happy, nice platform with table and poop bags and trash cans. Thanks for sharing your land with us!

Beautiful little area! The only complaint was the host dogs gave us a little visit at the fence line, no big deal for us but definitely something to keep in mind if you have non-dog friendly dogs.

My dogs had a blast here! There was also a bowl of water, poop bags, a tennis ball, and a trash area. I brought those items just in case but now I know they are provided. It is a very muddy place so wear hiking boots and bring towels for your dogs. The view is beautiful too!

I definitely recommend bringing a towel for muddy dog feet afterwards. Quiet and lovely spot! Would be a great place to picnic while the dogs play.

This is a great place! Lots of room to run and it’s clean and quiet. My 2 dogs ran and ran and came home exhausted from the fun. I brought my 9 year old to play with the dogs and he came home exhausted too! Definitely will come back.

This was a perfect.spot for our 7 month old pup Gabe. Lots of sniffing, room to run, his first time chasing a ball in the open. Easy to get to and terrific amenities, thanks Hidden River, we will be regulars.

This was a great and absolutely beautiful spot to bring our pups to let some energy out! The only downside was there were a ton of gunshots nearby that scared my anxious little blue heeler lol.

This property is so beautiful! My dogs loved running through the bamboo forest. With all the different landscape features, it feels so much larger than 4 acres!

55I met the host and she is lovely- a true dog person (highest form of praise). The park is a lot of dog's idea of paradise. The fence is reinforced in iffy places and seemingly secure all around and I walked the perimeter as much as I could. My guys are pretty good at finding holes but they were without success. If you have really small dogs who like to dig there may be a couple of places they could but maybe not. Anyway, dogs can dissappear into the bamboo forest and there is so much to explore. My pups were quite excited - one was tired and ready to go home and one was tired and wanted to stay forever. A good recall with your dogs is a good thing here cause I worried my boy would hide from me and he had a 100 hiding spots to choose from. We did encounter loose dogs on the other side of the fence on the reservoir side. This is not an issue with us as my guys love other dogs and had fun exchanging big fish stories but a really reactive dog could get stressed at this and it would be possible to bite through the fence. Im pretty sure it was an after school let the dogs out scenario. Their young humans were always nearby throwing the football. There is a deck with a water bowl and a few chairs around. Next time I will bring extra water I can carry with me cause my guys got very thirsty on the far side of property. There is a brown waste can for poop bags. I will definitely be back. I had to drag Thor (my little 135# Anatolian) away which he rarely ever does. He caught glimpses of host's dogs through the window and got a little obsessed for a while (he REALLY loves other dogs) but he finally snapped out of it and went exploring. Yoy can park right by the gate. As of March 27, 2025 there were no sniffspot signs yet. Make sure you turn at the black #95 mailbox. Google maps was a little iffy with the exact location a couple of days ago but spot on today.Josie S.
