55My friend and I recently had a fantastic time visiting this spacious, fully fenced yard with our three dogs. The environment was perfect for our furry companions to run and play freely, and the ample driveway parking made it super convenient.
There was plenty of seating for us humans to relax while keeping an eye on the dogs. Plus, it’s lit beautifully at night, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable for an evening gathering.
It’s a great way to enjoy a lovely day or night outdoors with your pets.

55Great location with parking. 15 min drive from West End DC. Easy access to large lawn that my pup loved to run around. Fresh water was ready and waiting for us. Note - the lawn is uneven in some places and had a couple divots, so be careful where you and your dog(s) are running. I also picked up some old dog poop my dog stepped in and a piece of plastic trash, so again, just keep an eye out while you’re there. I didn’t notice any toys or poop bags (there was a trash can), but I always bring my own and could have missed them. Overall a good experience. Melissa Z.

55This space was perfect for what we needed. The dog we brought had a blast running around since her yard is pretty small in DC. It’s a great space to try to introduce your reactive dog to a potential friend too! Samantha W.

55A great little convenient spot! My dogs had so much fun and it was wonderful seeing them able to play and run free. We live in a condo and they don’t do well with other dogs so we can’t take them to the dog park. Sniff spot has been such a gift. Thanks for letting us use your space. Heather B.

FAQ about our Arlington dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Arlington area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 516 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 64 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
