My 3 dogs and I had an excellent time here! My 2 retriever’s love to play fetch with the chuck it and I forgot mine, but they had a chuck it stuck and plenty of tennis balls at the ready for us! Which was so appreciated. We also arrived to a sweet welcome note with our names on it! The area was a great size, very clean, water available, fun toys, and I really like to privacy fence. We will absolutely be back, the dogs loved it! Being disabled, I’ve been having a hard time with my chronic pain and balance lately. Having an even, big but not too big, and very clean space helped so much. We can’t wait to come again!

The most thoughtful host with a fabulous backyard! Just stopped by for 30 min to let my dog, Rue, run off leash. Wish I had booked a full hour because we both LOVED it! Exactly as described and I’m so thankful that Maple Gray shared her yard with us 💕 we will absolutely be back!

The space is super quiet and plenty big enough for dogs to run and play. The area is flat with no areas that were soggy or muddy. The time of day we went there was a part of the yard that was shaded and a part that was full sun. There are two chairs and a large patio. The wind has pushed a large amount of big dry leaves into the corner of the fence and our younger pup really enjoyed diving in and playing while looking for his ball. I would recommend taking extra water if your dogs are big drinkers like ours. There was an extra bottle provided by host in a basket that we were thankful for as our pups drank it all up. It took about 15 min for our dogs to begin to play as they had lots of things to smell and check out. We will definitely be back!

It's a beautiful yard and brand new high fencing that I doubt any dog could jump over. However, the fencing does not touch the ground in many places. We had a small dog with us (13 lbs), a rescue from out of state meeting its new owner, and we were afraid that she would go under the fence where there were larger gaps. We watched her and all was ok but I think it would be good to put some wire on the openings at the bottom for small dogs. If you don't have a really small dog, the yard is perfect!

Excellent! The space is well kept and considerably more spacious than most dog parks. It is private and secure as described, perfect for my anxious dog. Our two pups got the zoomies as soon as we got inside and had completely worn themselves out by the time we left. We will definitely be returning and HIGHLY recommend this gem, especially if you don’t have a yard of your own, or have a reactive dog that needs a secluded play area.

Coming here was a great experience. The yard is fenced-in, spacious, and private, making it perfect for my dog that can be reactive with other dogs/strangers. I’m sure we will be coming back at some point.

Erin was so welcoming and assisted me with bringing both of my large young dogs into her backyard. despite it being a muddy and rainy day, my dogs had an absolute blast. there were a ton of tennis balls in buckets and throughout the yard, which my dogs loved searching for.

Very clean site, with space to let my anxious dog run while chasing Chuck-it balls. Larger than many spots I’ve visited, so worth the ~20 min drive from Norfolk. As another reviewer mentioned, the gate latch was a bit “sticky” to open, for me moreso when exiting. Overall quite a satisfying time!

This spot was great, there were no gaps in the fence and the gate was secure. Also no gaps under the fence, so I felt very confident my dog would not escape. Really large yard with plenty of room to play fetch. My dog had a blast! There was a toddler in the house who was super curious, and banging on the glass door that opened onto the deck, then at one point they opened the door and started to come out. That scared me as I haven’t tested my new rescue dog around kids yet. Luckily he was fine. But it took a while for an adult to notice and close the door - my dog was able to run all the way from the edge of the yard right up to the kid, and could easily have run into the house, before the door was closed. If your dog reacts badly with kids make sure to chat with the host about it first to keep everyone safe.

Not only was this my first time at Erin’s Sniffspot but it was also my first overall impression of Sniffspot. Erin’s fully fenced in yard was clean, well kept, and accommodating for me and my pup. She made sure water and toys were left out for us if needed. I highly recommend this spot for anyone whether it’s your first time or if you’re a frequent flyer.

Beautiful backyard, fully fenced, trash cans to throw away waste. My puppy loved the sprinklers! Liz came outside to greet us and gave us both water. She also offered for my puppy to meet her sweet doggy which I was grateful for because I want him to be well socialized and meet as many dogs as possible while he’s this young! He was exhausted by the end, napped the whole car ride home! Thank you so much for this experience!

Nice sized, clean and quiet backyard. The dogs had a great time! The neighbor’s dog was able to be seen thru the chain link fence, but my dogs enjoyed its company and were happy to see it. Something to consider if you have an aggressive or reactive dog though. Thanks for having us!!

This was a perfect space for Uzi to run and play and sniff. It was so nice that a couple water bottles, a dog bowl and some extra toys and even dog beds were available. Uzi had so much fun. We will definitely be back!
